"Zero, do you truly believe that Captain Xebec will fail?" Whitebeard approached him with quick steps.

With a slight sigh, Zero looked at Whitebeard and said, "Newgate, you know better than I do. The pirate crew is facing not just external enemies, but also internal issues. Ultimately, our ship is built on shaky ground and even if we come together, we cannot defeat the World Government. At best, we can only attack their naval headquarters."

After hearing Zero's words, Whitebeard pondered for a while before speaking, "That day may never come."

"Ha ha, really? Newgate, if that day comes, will you still choose to be a pirate?" asked Zero.

"Yes, I have a family to protect," replied Whitebeard.

"And what about you, Zero?"

"I don't know. I don't have any aspirations. If I had to choose, I would want to become stronger."

Sitting by the side of the boat, Whitebeard gazed out at the sea.

"The sea is vast. I'm sure you'll be able to navigate it and become a more powerful figure than Captain Xebec," Whitebeard said.

"Isn't it wrong for us to talk behind Captain Xebec's back like this?" asked Zero.

"Ku ha ha ha ~ Captain Xebec won't mind such a small matter. He's a simple man," replied Whitebeard with a laugh.

In a chat group with 99+ members, three group members were having a lively conversation. Zero scrolled through the group news and saw that Zhang Chulan was heavily involved in the group and acted as a "yes-man" to the group leader. If Zero didn't understand the true nature of the group leader, he may have thought that Zhang Chulan was just a flatterer with no real abilities.
