"Can you use a sword too?" Zoro asked with an interested tone. Luffy nodded.

"Of course. I'm pretty good at it." Luffy grinned at her. Zoro smirked and looked at the Marines who were charging towards them with sabers and cutlasses in their hands.

"If bullets can't hurt him! Then use your swords!!" One of the Marines shouted. Luffy and Zoro remained calm.

"Here's your treasure." Luffy muttered as he handed Zoro's katanas over to him. Zoro nodded.

"Thanks." He whispered and grabbed them.

"Those who defy me must die!!!" Morgan shouted. The Marines roared and swung down their blades at Luffy.

*KLANG!!!!*

Luffy grinned at Zoro who blocked them with his swords. She had one in each hand and the third in her jaw.

This was the Three Sword Style. It is Zoro's unique style of triple wielding swordsmanship where the practitioner wields three katanas; one in each hand and the third in the jaw.

Zoro who created this style, used her original Two Sword Style as the basis of most of the Three Sword Style techniques, which also incorporates dual wielding.

Zoro glared at the marines right behind her. "The first one who moves, dies." He threatened them menacingly. The Marines trembled in fear. He then looked back at Luffy.

"Alright, so I'm a pirate. I gave you my word. I fought the navy, so I'm officially an outlaw. But hear this!! I have a mission to fulfill!! " Zoro declared, getting the full attention of Luffy.

" I'm going to become the world's greatest swordswoman! All I have left is my destiny! My name may be infamous, but it's gonna shake the world!!!" Zoro declared which Luffy grinned at.

" But you are making me become a pirate. So if I have to abandon my dream for any reason, then I'll have you commit seppuku!" Zoro added. Luffy smirked and nodded.

" The world's greatest swordswoman! That's great! And it's fitting because your new boss is gonna be King of The Pirates! Anything else would make me look bad! " Luffy replied.

" Hmph.... You talk big for a rookie...." He whispered.

" Why are you hesitating?! Hack those brigands into minced meat now!!" Morgan shouted.

" Zoro, duck!! " Luffy shouted, which Zoro did so without question. Luffy stretched his left leg.

" Gomu Gomu no....."

"WHIP!!!"

Luffy kicked in a wide circle, striking all of the Marines Zoro was blocking. The Marines all tumbled to the ground with their weapons scattering everywhere. Zoro looked at Luffy.

"What the devil are you?" He asked Luffy whose leg retracted back into place. Luffy grinned and stretched his rubbery cheek.

"I'm a rubber man, Zoro. I ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi, a Devil Fruit." Luffy replied. Zoro widened his eyes and grinned.

" So Devil Fruit's do exist. Heh, you're very interesting." Zoro whispered. The Marines started at Zoro and Luffy with fear in their eyes.

"It's hopeless! We can't fight a rubber man and that demon Roronoa Zoro at the same time! " One of them shouted. Morgan clenched his fist tightly.

" Hear me! All of you cowards who were whining just now will shoot yourselves in the head!! " Morgan declared, surprising Luffy and Zoro. Koby was horrified.

"I won't tolerate defeatists in my outfit!!! On my order, fire!!!" He shouted. The Marines all held up their muskets and pointed it at the side of their head.

"Shit." Zoro cursed. Luffy suddenly disappeared, shocking his.

*BOOOM!!!!*

Luffy kicked Morgan's axe hand, shattering it instantly. "Hey, I'm your enemy! Try and put me to death, if ya can!!" Luffy grinned at Morgan who growled angrily at him.

Luffy was about to unsheathe his cutlass and deliver the killer blow but he was stopped when he noticed something else.

"STOP!!!!"

Everyone looked at a bandaged and bruised Helmeppo pointing a flintlock at Koby's head.

"One wrong move and four eyes will get it!! If you even blink I'll shoot!!" He shouted. Koby looked at Luffy.

" Luffy-san!!! Don't let them win because of me! Let him kill me!!! " Koby shouted at him without fear in his voice. Luffy smiled a little.

" You're a guy, Koby. You're a bit of a wimp, but a good guy nonetheless. But you are the future of the Marines, so I cannot let you die!!!" Luffy's gaze hardened. He looked at Zoro who looked at him.

Luffy side-eyed Morgan, Zoro immediately understood what he needed to do. "We cannot let you both terrorize Shells Town any longer!! Koby!!! Close your eyes!!!" Luffy shouted. Koby shut his eyes tightly.

Luffy and Zoro started dashing towards their target at the same time. Helmeppo gritted his teeth and put his finger on the trigger.

Luffy used Soru and appeared in front of him. He unsheathed his cutlass and swung horizontally.

*SHING!!!*

He decapitated Helmeppo's head. Meanwhile with Zoro he dashed towards Morgan at superhuman speeds.

Morgan swung his fist at him which he dodged easily. Zoro leaped past him and nothing happened for a few seconds.

Morgan's head slid off cleanly and dropped to the ground. Zoro grabbed the sword in his jaw and sheathed all of his three katanas back in their respective sheathes.

"No sweat, captain." He smirked at Luffy who smirked back. Zoro looked at the rest of the Marines.

"Any of you still wanna capture us?" He asked them while getting ready to fight hisnway out of this island.

The Marines all looked at each other before cheering the loudest they could have.

"HOORAY!!!"

"WE'RE FREE!!!!"

"MORGAN'S AND HIS SON'S REIGN OF TERROR IS OVER!!!"

" BANZAI FOR THE NAVY!!!! "

Luffy seemed to understand what was going on. "Those guys are happy that Morgan and Helmeppo are dead. Damn, he really was ruling by fear. " He whispered. He saw Zoro swaying a little while having a dazed expression on his face. He widened his eyes as he fell. He used Soru to quickly catch him.

"Haaa!!! I'm stuffed! Not eating for nine days was worse than I thought!" Zoro sighed in satisfaction as he patted his stomach.

" See, you wouldn't have survived one month." Luffy muttered while munching on a stick of meat. Zoro side-eyed him.

"Funny, you seem more hungrier than me." Zoro pointed out. Luffy just grinned at him . Koby laughed and looked at Ririka, Rika's mother.

Ririka is a woman of average height and weight. She has brown hair that is usually tied back. She wears a light green dress over a dark green shirt and brown sandals.

"It's kind of you to feed me along with the heroes, ma'am. " He thanked her. Ririka smiled.

" It's the least I can do! You three saved the whole town!" Ririka replied. Rika looked up at Luffy.

"Mr Luffy, Mr Zoro! You guys were really great! Thank you! " Rika thanked them. Luffy grinned while having his mouth full of food.

" Thanks! But we're about to be a lot greater! Shishishishishi!!" Luffy chuckled and swallowed the food in his mouth.

"So you're 17 right? How the hell are you so tall?" Zoro asked him. Luffy looked at her.

" My grandpa's height is 9'5"(287cm) while my dad's height is 8'5"(256cm). It's genetics, plus I train a lot so that also helps with the height department." Luffy replied. Zoro hummed.

" So what's next?" He asked. Luffy hummed.

"Find more crew mates. We need a cook, a decent enough navigator and a sniper. I already have a sniper in mind, but about the other two we just need to sail around and find them. " Luffy explained. Zoro nodded and looked at Koby.

He tapped him on the head gently with one of his katanas.

"What about your plans?" He asked.

"Huh?"

"You were a cabin boy on Alvida's ship for two years. Watch out for the Marines' intelligence. If they find out about your background, your dreams of being a Marine Admiral is over. " Zoro warned.

" Excuse me.... "

Everyone looked at the newcomer. He was an average man who wears the normal marine hat, shirt, and pants. However, his ascot is a light green instead of dark blue. He has tanned skin, brown hair, a pronounced jawline, and a brown mustache and beard.

This was Lieutenant Ripper, now Commander Ripper. After Morgan's death, he took control of the base's operations.

There was a platoon of marines standing outside of the house. "You gentlemen are pirates, correct?" He asked them. Luffy nodded.

"Yup, Zoro's my vice captain now." Luffy replied simply. Ripper saluted him.

" You two saved our base and town so we are truly grateful to you. However, we are still naval marines, so we cannot shelter pirates. I'm sorry but I have to ask you to leave, but to show our gratitude we won't report you to the higher ups." Ripper explained. Luffy shook his head.

" Don't do that. Report us. " Luffy replied, intriguing Ripper. Luffy grinned at him.

" We're pirates after all. What's a pirate without a bounty to his name? " Luffy asked him. Ripper smirked.

" Very well Mugiwara, we will honor your request and report you and Roronoa Zoro to the Marines. I hope you two enjoy your first bounties..... "
