12 Tour

"Here's the fish store called UO. It's owned by Gyoru, Makino buys fish from his store." Luffy pointed at a fish store. The store owner, Gyoru waved at Luffy to which Luffy grinned and waved back at him.

Gyoru was an average sized middle aged man with black hair, a widow's peak, and a spiky tuft of hair on the top of his head.

He has small round eyes, thick eyebrows, and stubble on his chin. He has always been seen sporting a large smile. He wears a yellow shirt with a black apron over it and a pink rope tied around his head.

"The mayor, Wood Slap here hates pirates. So I'm gonna be one just to make him mad. Shishishishishi!! " Luffy chuckled happily. Uta smiled a little.

Currently, he was giving Uta a tour of Foosha Village. He showed her a lot of places, like the dock, the market and the little stores are the place.

He added some small stories to each of the places they went so that the tour doesn't get boring.

Despite the tour being so short and simple, Uta liked it. She liked how Luffy was able to come up with jokes and stories on the spot, he made this tour interesting and fun.

"Hey Uta. How about we have a competition." Luffy grinned at her. Uta grinned back.

"Oh yeah? What's it about?" She asked to which Luffy pointed at a cliff.

"It's simple, run towards that cliff and climb up to the top. The loser gives half of their dinner to the winner." Luffy explained. Uta smirked confidently.

"Then get ready go lose, Luffy." Uta teased and got ready to sprint. Luffy laughed and did the same.

" Alright, ready, set go!!! "

After Luffy's declaration, Uta started running. She ran as fast as she could, noticing that Luffy hadn't overtaken her she looked behind her to see that Luffy wasn't even behind her.

Uta smirked, knowing she had won.

"On your left."

Uta looked to her left with a surprised expression. Luffy grinned at her as he overtook her, now becoming first place in the race.

"Oi! Come back here Luffy!!"

"Shishishishishi!!!!"

Luffy rushed towards the start of the cliff and started climbing it.

It only took Luffy a few minutes to reach the top of the mountain. He stared down at Uta who was breathing heavily while still at the bottom of the cliff.

Luffy grinned and climbed down, arriving beside her. "Hey? You okay?" Luffy asked her. Uta nodded while breathing heavily. Luffy didn't know what to do so he patted her back gently to calm her breathing down.

Uta who regained control over her breathing, stood up straight and looked at him. "How do you even run that fast?" She asked him. Luffy grinned and held up 5 fingers.

"I run 5 kilometers everyday. Tomorrow I'm going to try running 6! Shishishishishi!!" Luffy laughed at Uta's expression of disbelief.

"H-how are you not dead yet?" Uta stuttered out her question.

"Easy! It's cuz I started from the easiest level first then worked my way up to what I can do now! " Luffy replied like it running 5 kilometers was just a simple chore to him. Uta sighed at his bluntness.

"C'mon, there's one more place I wanna show you!" Luffy grabbed Uta's right hand and they started heading towards somewhere.

Luffy took Uta to the upper level of a windmill by the coast where they could see the sun set over the ocean.

Uta was in awe at the jaw dropping scenery. The sun and the sea were so beautiful. Luffy grinned proudly, knowing that he had succeeded.

"Wow.... So this is what you get to see everyday." Uta whispered. Luffy grinned while standing silently beside her.

" So Uta, do you have a dream?" Luffy suddenly asked her. Uta nodded while staring at the sunset.

"I wanna perform for the whole world so that they could be happy when they listen to me sing." Uta muttered. Luffy grinned and pointed at himself.

" I wanna set out to sea and be a pirate! I'm gonna find the One Piece and be the Pirate King!" Luffy declared to which Uta rolled her eyes.

" I will know idiot, I've heard it a thousand times already. " Uta grumbled. Luffy laughed and held out his pinky finger.

" Hey Uta, let's make a pinky promise. When we're out there making our dreams come true, let's meet up and reunite. You alright with that? " Luffy asked. Uta looked at him and nodded determinedly.

" Yeah! You better not forget about it, Luffy! Because I sure won't! " Uta grinned and they made a pinky promise.

A pinky promise is a forever promise.....

A day later, Luffy and Uta were racing on makeshift boats towards an island. Whoever wins has to kiss the loser on the cheek, it was Shanks' idea.

Luffy who practiced paddling a lot was winning. When he saw the island which was the endpoint started moving, he and Uta widened their eyes.

The island suddenly rose up. The island they were racing to was actually the Lord Of The Coast.

The Lord of the Coast is a Sea King that inhabits the waters of Dawn Island, typically near Foosha Village. He is classified as a Type C creature, 'Big Savage'.

The Lord of the Coast is fairly small in size compared to other Sea Kings. However, he is still large enough to swallow a grown man whole.

His appearance is similar to a large oversized brown eel with red eyes and blue fins. These eyes become bloodshot and the pupils turn catlike when it goes into a berserk frenzy.

"Shit!!!!" Luffy cursed out loud and looked at Uta who was horrified.

"Uta!! What are you looking at!!! Get away from him!!" Luffy shouted, snapping Uta out of her thoughts. Uta quickly paddled as fast as she could with Luffy behind her.

Fortunately, they escaped from the Lord Of The Coast. They settled on a cliff overlooking the ocean.

Luffy and Uta laughed at their near death experience. To them, it was funny in a way, but definitely a horrifying experience for them.

"Thanks for snapping me out, Luffy. Who knows what could've happened if I kept staring at it." Uta thanked Luffy while they were lying on the soft grass together.

"No problem, Uta! That's what friends do! They help each other no matter what they're going through! Shishishishishi!!!" Luffy grinned and gave her a thumbs up. Uta giggled. They sighed in satisfaction as they stared at the cloudy sky.

"I thought about my dream and I changed it. Now, I wanna sail around the world with Shanks and write and perform songs which would change the world and create a 'new genesis'." Uta explained with a determined gaze in her eyes.

" I like it, Uta! I also thought about my dream. I decided that being Pirate King and finding the One Piece are not the only things I wanna do! I also wanna create a new age of pirates with me being the figurehead!" Luffy declared energetically. Uta looked at him.

" It sounds hard. " Uta commented.

" Duh. Every dream is hard! But if we work on it everyday, we'll eventually succeed! That's what my grandpa said to me." Luffy replied, making Uta hum softly.

" Hey, do you still remember that promise we made yesterday?" She asked him. Luffy nodded.

" Don't forget it okay? If you forget it, when I find you out in the sea I'm going to beat the crap out of you, you hear?" She looked at him seriously. Luffy smiled and gave her a thumbs up.

" You got it, Uta!"
