"But seriously, me as a Fleet Admiral? Where'd you get that idea?" Aokiji asked Sengoku who shrugged.

"It's a long story. All you need to know is that I believe you're the perfect man for the job and I trust you to take over and lead the Marines." Sengoku replied. Aokiji sighed.

"So why not Akainu? "

"Cuz he's an unpredictable bastard!" Garp replied bluntly, making Aokiji chuckle.

"Yeah, can't deny that one. But he won't be too happy to work under me though. I think he'll try to fight for the position." Aokiji guessed. Garp snorted.

"The guy's missing both arms and half of his body organs with just one slash from Red Hair. The only reason he's alive right now is because we found him in that chasm just in time. Vegapunk's gonna have a hard time getting him back to normal. If you don't win against Sakazuki when he's in that condition then I don't know what to say." Garp replied. Aokiji sighed as the room fell into another silence.

"Hey, can I have a cracker?" Aokiji asked Garp who shrugged and took one out.

" Here." Garp muttered as he threw the cracker at Aokiji's mouth. Aokiji caught it and the cracker was split in pieces with a loud crunch.

"All I need now is your agreement, Kuzan. Do you agree to become the Fleet Admiral?" Sengoku asked him.

"Oh you got it. I just need time to think. There's so much I need to do.... " Aokiji whispered. Garp blinked as a thought came to mind.

" By the way Sengoku, there's also Level 6 prisoners in Impel Down that escaped." Garp revealed to him. Sengoku sighed and scratched his forehead.

"I'll deal with it. I'll get the confirmation of how many Level 6 prisoners escaped, their names and wanted posters should be immediately distributed after that's dealt with. They're all a danger to the public and should be caught immediately." Sengoku mumbled. Garp cleared his throat awkwardly.

"Sorry to burst your bubble but I don't think all that's possible Sengoku. When I met with him, Kong told me that WG's gonna cover it. Any further disgrace could result in a massive loss of faith in the government, Kong's words not mine. So..... good luck with that." Garp added nonchalantly, making Sengoku fume.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME GARP?! THAT'S THEIR EXCUSE—You know what, I'm going to Kong immediately. This is disgusting." Sengoku grumbled curses at the World Government as he exited the patient room.

Garp laughed.

"Bwahahahahaha!!!! Guess all those Level 6 prisoners are your problem now!" Garp looked at Aokiji who was deadpanning at where Sengoku previously was.

"Thanks for the kind reminder, Garp-san. I'm so grateful.... "

"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

"This is Big News!!! " An human albatross hybrid shouted. He is 'Big News' Morgans is the president of the World Economy News Paper and one of the emperors of the Underworld.

"It's just shock after shock! The Marines failed miserably in their plan to execute Ace! Straw Hat Luffy is alive and kicking and is apparently now allies with the Elbaf nation! Red Hair Shanks makes a rare appearance instead of hanging around in his own territories!!" Morgans shouted as he stared at the whiteboard fully pasted with papers that have a lot of big news written in them.

"Did you get the amount of casualties on the Marines' side!" Morgans asked one of his employees who handed him a small note. Morgans read it and widened his eyes.

"That's a lot. But it's going to be fun to see the people's reactions to what a failure these Marines are! " Morgans shredded the paper before returning to discuss what to write.

"Sir! This is a lot and I don't think we can get it out today in time! "

" That's fine! It will be a special edition! Raise the price for it and make sure to distribute it within this week! And with that, let's make it the most heartbreaking, the most exciting and the most entertaining newspaper ever!!! "

" YEAH!!!! "

" Sir! Someone's calling you sir! " One of Morgans' ran towards him while holding a Den Den Mushi.

"A leopard? " Morgans whispered as he looked at the face of the Den Den Mushi which was similar to a leopards.

" Kachak. "

" Who's calling? You're calling during working hours so make it quick!" Morgans asked rudely.

"I don't think this will be short, Morgans. I think you and I will have a lot to discuss about. This call is untraceable by the way, so don't even try to figure out where we are."

" Who's talking? "

"Rob Lucci, captain of the Pigeon Pirates and ex CP9. " Morgans widened his eyes in surprise at the caller's reply.

" Talk."

"I'm here to offer you information for your newspaper, for a price of course. Don't you want to know how much loot we stole from the Marine Headquarters. Don't you want to know where Luffy was when he and his crew got sent into separate directions by the Warlord Kuma. "

" And don't you want to know about how the World Government is covering the escape of Level 6 prisoners that were previously in Impel Down?"

Those words got Morgans excited but he tried to be calm.

" Tell me more."

"800 million Berry first. Then I'll talk."

"Eh, that's like spare change considering how much we make from these newspapers. You got yourself a deal. "

" You got yourself a deal. " Lucci smirked while his crew full of ex CP9 agents who were listening in to the ongoing call cheered silently.

Thanks to the spy equipment used by the CP0 Kaya got them from the deep depths of the black market, they were able to catch this information while they hacked into the World Government's systems.

"Are you sure Straw Hat's gonna be happy about this though?" Jabra wondered. Kalifa shook her head.

"He loves stirring the world up with his actions, directly or indirectly it doesn't matter. Us doing this would probably make him laugh with joy instead." She muttered as Lucci was talking to Morgans.

"Though I wonder, where's the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates at?"

" Ugh, what did I do to deserve getting stuck with you, moss head!! " Perona whined as she looked at Zoro who was training with his signature fighting style, the Santōryū.

Currently, the two were in Kuraigana Island, a dark and gloomy place somewhere in the Grand Line. It was once the home of the now fallen Muggy Kingdom.

The forest island is relatively deserted except for some ruins. Amongst its landscape, the island possesses unique hills.

They had both been sent here by Kuma.

"Tsk!" Zoro clicked his teeth and took out the katana in his mouth before he glared at her, an action that scared Perona.

"Would you rather be alone out here?" Zoro asked her before he went back to training, ignoring the girl again. Perona pouted angrily at him.

"At least give me something to do!! It's so boring out here!! There's no cute animals to play with at all!" Perona complained, making Zoro sigh again.

"Just cook for us or something. Don't you like cooking?" Zoro grumbled as he swung his swords at some dead trees, slicing them cleanly in half. Perona clicked her teeth and walked away.

Zoro wasn't wrong, Perona loved cooking a lot and she was so good at it Sanji was gracious enough to make her the assistant chef of the ship.

Or maybe Sanji was just weak willed and couldn't say no to any woman's requests. Perona sighed as she walked around the dark gloomy island.

"It's like the Florian Triangle all over again." She mumbled. She was unaware that there was someone large following her from behind.

"Was my shadow always that big?" Perona wondered as she looked at the giant shadow in front of her. She froze in horror as she realized what that could only mean.

Perona gulped audibly and started turning around slowly and shakily. Her shaking intensified as she looked at the monster that had been following her all this time.

"AHHHHHHH!!!!!" Perona screamed as loud as she as she was faced with a giant mandrill wielding a giant blade and a round shield.

The mandrill roared and swung it's sword down at her. Perona leaped away and opened her right hand.

"Mini Hollow!" Perona shouted as she created a bunch of mini ghosts before sending them towards the attacking mandrill.

The ghosts attached themselves to the mandrill who looked at it's body with confusion. It tried to slap them away but couldn't since the ghosts were intangible.

Perona smirked at it as she prepared to snap her fingers.

"Bye bye stupid monkey~ Ghost Rap!"

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!*

With a snap of her fingers, the ghosts attached to the mandrill exploded violently, killing the mandrill and creating a giant crater on the ground.

Perona stared at the remaining chunks of flesh from the mandrill and groaned. "Ugh, can't cook that now." She grumbled under her breath.

"Are you alright? I heard you scream." Zoro asked as he appeared beside Perona with his katanas still out. Perona stared at him weirdly.

"You heard me scream but didn't hear the explosions? Whatever, I'm fine. I just messed up what could be our dinner for the night." Perona pointed at the chunks of flesh on the ground.

"You couldn't just ya know.... Make him depressed or something. Could've bought enough time for me to come here and kill him." Zoro replied while he scratched his head. Perona snorted and crossed her arms.

"With your sense of direction? I'm not counting on you to get the job done. And don't treat me like I'm some weak little girl! " Perona shouted at Zoro who shook his head and sheathed his katanas.

"I don't. That perverted cook however does do exactly that. Wonder what he's doing right now? "

Meanwhile with Sanji.....

"WHY AM I WEARING A DRESS?!!!!!"

Meanwhile with Nami...

Nami was doing a set of pushups while having fun serious expression on her face. She had landed on an artificial sky island called Weatheria. It is notable for the study of weather conditions as well as tools that can create various conditions.

Nami had first hand experience of the tools, courtesy of a man named Haredas who took her in when she landed on the island.

She was doing pushups while thinking about her next move. Right now, she just hoped that her idiot captain and her fellow crewmates were okay.

"When are we gonna arrive?" Bonney grumbled as she was playing a card game called Uno with the rest of the Worst Generation alliance.

"Should be pretty soon." She looked at Luffy who was walking towards them, albeit very slowly.

'Is he limping? He did take Vice Admiral Garp's most powerful attack in his arsenal...Eh, must be my eyes deceiving me.' Kid shook his head before he looked at the group playing cards around him.

'And why the hell am I playing cards with them?! I should be going off my own adventures, making a name for myself! Why am I stuck here?!' Kid shouted in his mind angrily. He sighed and quickly calmed down.

'No, I can't cause a ruckus. Not when he's here.' Kid looked at Shanks who was busy catching up with Luffy. He stared at Shanks before he then stared at Luffy.

'Then there's him, the leader of this 'alliance' I've gotten myself into. How the hell has it not disbanded yet?' Kid then looked back down at his hand of cards.

'Straw Hat is fucking dangerous. He's got the Red Haired Pirates as his friends. He's allies with the Whitebeard Pirates, has his own fleet, has a pretty strong crew a land he himself is powerful too. I need to be careful about what I say or else I could make him my enemy. And I sure as hell don't want Fire Fist Ace on my tail.' Kid mused.

"Hey! We've arrived you guys!" Luffy declared while grinning cheerfully before he winced and clutched his chest.

"I'll go tell them to slow down." Ace kissed him on the cheek before she leaped towards the Moby Dick. Shanks nodded at Luffy before he disappeared in a flash and appeared back onto his ship, the Red Force.

"Now what's so special about this damn island you wanted to bring us to?" Kid muttered as he stood up and looked at the island. He froze and widened his eyes in pure horror.

He grabbed Luffy by the collar and pulled him in.

"OI!!! YOU BASTARD!!!! DO YOU WANNA KILL US OR SOMETHING?!!!!"
