36 Orange Town
Luffy and Zoro arrived at a new island after Luffy used a map to slowly navigate them to it. They arrived at Organ Islands which is the archipelago where Orange Town is located.
Orange Town is a 42-year old village. Its mayor is Boodle, who is also one of its founders.
Orange Town was built on a patch of wilderness near the sea by townsfolk that had just lost their previous home to a pirate attack. Orange Town itself is a colonial-like town with cobblestone streets.
Zoro sighed as he lied on the spacious dinghy they were in. "Careful when you go in it Luffy. This place is under siege by the Buggy Pirates. I'm sure you've heard of them." Zoro warned him. Luffy nodded.
The Buggy Pirates are a band of pirates led by Buggy, who is a former apprentice of the Roger Pirates like Shanks was. Their total bounty was 15,000,000 Belly.
"I did. Are you gonna follow me Zoro?" Luffy asked him which Zoro yawned as a response.
"I haven't slept for 9 days Luffy, cut a guy some slack." Zoro grinned at him. Luffy chuckled before standing up.
"Alright, you have a good nap Zoro. I'mma go explore this place." Luffy waved at him before stepping off the dinghy. He disappeared using Soru.
"I gotta ask him to teach me that later." Zoro whispered before he started napping.

"Stop thief!! Give us back that map!!!"
There was a group of people chasing a girl. The girl was running away from them while holding a folded map in her hand.
"I finally have it, a map of the Grand Line!!" She muttered. Luffy was walking on the air using Geppo, watching everything that was happening.
Suddenly, he saw a cannonball blasting towards him and unsheathed his cutlass.
*SHING!!!*
He cut it in half. The cannonball exploded behind him. Luffy then started falling towards the ground where the group of chasers were.
*BOOOM!!!*
Luffy crashed right through the ground, creating a human shaped hole when he fell. He sighed as he got out of the hole unharmed.
"He's not hurt!!!" The three chasers fell back in shock. The girl looked at him with a shocked face.
"I got noticed that quickly?" Luffy grumbled in annoyance before looking at the situation he was in. The girl smiled a little.
"Boss! You came to rescue me!!" She shouted. Luffy hummed and looked at her.
He was looking at a slim young attractive woman with orange hair and brown eyes. Her height was 169 cm (5'6 ½").
She was wearing an orange miniskirt with two white rings on each side filled in with orange or brown in their centers and shirts with short sleeves. She also had short hair with a particularly curled strand over the left side of her face. Her measurements were B86-W57-H86 (34"-22"-34").
"EKK!!! That's her boss?!!" One of the chasers shouted while trembling in fear.
"He's so tall and so scary!!" Another one said.
"Run away or we'll die!!!" The third one shouted. They all ran away as soon as possible. Luffy hummed.
'They must be a part of the Buggy Pirates. Lemme just deal with them so they don't ruin the surprise attack. ' Luffy thought and disappeared using Soru. He appeared in front of the three who were running away with a grin on his face.
*BAM!! BOOM!!! POW!!!*
The three of them were defeated by him easily. He nodded to himself. ' I wanna see how strong the apprentice of the Roger Pirates is.' Luffy thought.
"Wow!!"
He looked at the orange haired girl from before. She was sitting on the porch of a random building while smiling at him.
"You're pretty tough! You beat them up with one punch!" She complimented him. Luffy looked at her with a serious expression.
"Uh...Who are you?" He asked.
"The name's Nami! I specialize in robbing pirates. Wanna team up with me?! " She asked him.
" Pirates? " Luffy asked, intrigued at her specialization. Nami nodded.
"Yeah! I'm a thief who steals from pirates, if we team up we could get a whole lot of money! " Nami offered. Luffy immediately shook his head and turned around to walk away.
"Sorry, Nami. I'm not interested." Luffy denied her offer.
"Hang on a second!" Nami shouted before quickly jumping down from the porch and landing gracefully. She walked beside him and pointed at his hat.
"So what's that hat and your outfit?" She asked him.
"Oh these? These are my treasures." Luffy replied with a warm smile. Nami became very interested.
" Hyaa!! Treasure! I wonder if there's any jewels in it!? Or a treasure map!?"
" No Nami, there's none of that in there. These clothes are my treasure. "
" Aww man!! "

" So is this your house? " Luffy asked Nami who was sitting on the wooden table while Luffy was sitting on a wooden chair.
"No, I don't even know whose house is this." Nami replied nonchalantly. Luffy hummed.
'So it's really that bad. I'm all for fighting people, but if it's to save people, I'm definitely saying yes. ' Luffy thought to himself. Gyatsu had taught him to help people whenever he could, so that one day he might get something back that can help him a lot.
"Hmm.... You seem to know a lot about the Buggy Pirates. Can you tell me more, Nami?" Luffy asked while flashing his charming grin. Nami nodded.
" He's a famous pirate known for his love for cannons. When a bunch of kids from a village where he once stayed made fun of his nose, he used a cannon to wipe out the whole village. And it's said that he's got a strange power. " Nami explained. Luffy nodded.
" Devil Fruit. "
" Huh? "
" Buggy has a Devil Fruit ability. That's his strange power you're talking about. " Luffy explained. Nami tilted her head and had a confused face. Luffy found it kinda cute.
"I thought Devil Fruits were just a myth?" She asked. Luffy raised his eyebrow at her.
" You say you steal from pirates right? Surely you must've seen one guy that has a Devil Fruit. " Luffy asked. Nami shook her head.
" Well, this is going to be your first then. Buggy has a Devil Fruit ability. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong. No harm in guessing. " Luffy muttered. Nami nodded.
" My goal is to get a hundred million Belly, then I'm going to buy a certain village. " Nami explained her goal with a serious expression.
" Hmm. Buy a village? A hundred million Belly is a lot? So you would have to steal from a lot of pirates. " Luffy pointed out. Nami nodded and took out the map she stole from the Buggy Pirates.
"I got a plan for that. Look, this is the Grand Line map I just stole! I'm going to steal some treasure from this Buggy guy, then I'm going to go to the Grand Line. Then I'm going to steal from even greater pirates who carry much more treasure." Nami explained with an extremely determined expression. She smiled at him.
"What do you think? Don't you wanna team up and earn a bunch? You look strong, I could use your power, and then you'll get your share too!" Nami offered excitedly. Luffy hummed.
" By any chance, do you know how to navigate? "
" Yeah! Of course I know! Don't look down on my navigation skills. Well, there aren't a lot of people who know more about it than I do, especially since I love the sea. " Nami smirked proudly at him. Luffy grinned.
" I see! Yeah, that's great!! I'm also on the way to the Grand Line!"
" Really?! " Nami widened her eyes at Luffy's reply.
"Hey, you should come join my crew as the navigator. I already have my vice captain, you would be a perfect addition! Be a member of my pirate crew!! " Luffy grinned at her. Nami then furrowed her eyebrows and gritted her teeth.
"No way!!"
