194 Escape
"Hey, Jinbe. Do you know how to use Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki?" Luffy asked Jinbe as they and Buggy were running up the staircase between Level 5 and 4. Ivankov had split up with them to regroup with the residents of Newkama Land.
"Yes I do though only the basic techniques of it. Why do you ask?" Jinbe asked back.
"I'm just curious. Heads up, we got company." Luffy warned him while pointing at the door in front of them. Jinbe looked at the wooden door and stopped running with Luffy doing the same.
Luffy stretched his right arm back and threw a punch at the door. His punch shattered the wooden door, revealing a number of jailers are seen, holding guns and tridents or spears.
"Let me deal with them!" Jinbe offered as he stepped up to the front. He closed his eyes and entered a stance.
"Fish-Man Karate.... KARAKUSAGAWARA SEIKEN!!!" Jinbe shouted as he punched at a fair distance from the intended targets. It was silent for a few seconds but only for a few.
This move has a delayed effect, as the shock wave takes a while to reach the opponents.
Jinbe transmitted the force of the blow through the water vapor in the air to release a shock wave that sent them flying.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!*
The guards screamed in pain as they slammed into the ground or walls. Jinbe hummed as he patted the dust of his clothes.
"Woah..... That's Fish-Man Karate?! That's so awesome! How did you do it?!" Luffy literally had stars shining in his eyes as he and Jinbe continued running. Jinbe chuckled at Luffy's amazement.
"The secret of Fish-Man Karate is mastery of the water in the user's direct vicinity. The sea itself is a Fish-Man Karate user's most effective and powerful weapon.
And in addition to actual water, users of Fish-Man Karate can utilize the moisture in the air and even the water inside of people's bodies." Jinbe explained as he and Luffy tore through some more guards with ease.
" I wonder how powerful Robin would be if she learnt Fish-Man Karate and Busoshoku Haki. She would be a devil at fighting." Luffy wondered.
"Robin? As in Nico Robin?" Jinbe asked him. Luffy nodded as he shattered another wooden door with a casual kick.
" Mhm! She's smart, beautiful, is good at storytelling and one hell of a fighter! But I wonder where she is right now." Luffy whispered the last sentence solemnly. Jinbe noticed but didn't dare to ask as it seemed personal to Luffy.
"They're back." Jinbe commented. Luffy looked to see Ivankov leading an army while running towards them.
"Mugiwara-boy!! The time has come!!! You wanted an army!? Here you go!!!!" Ivankov shouted while waving at him cheerfully. Luffy grinned and nodded back at him.
"ALRIGHT!! LET'S GO EVERYONE!!! LET'S BURN THIS PRISON TO THE GROUND AND LAUGH WHILE WE DO SO!!!!!!"
"AYE!!!!"

On level 4, Luffy and his group were currently fighting their way through the guards, releasing many prisoners as they went.
The prisoner unanimously decided to follow Luffy. Jinbe was in awe at Luffy. Everyone silently agreed that he was the Commander of the army. His presence was so dominating that everyone followed his orders without questioning any of it.
Chief Guard Saldeath, the commander of the Bulgori tried to attack them with his Blugori, but Ivankov beat them back with one massive Hell Wink. Hannyabal also joined the battlefield.
Death Wink is Ivankov's signature technique in which he creates a blast of air pressure merely by winking to use as a powerful close combat attack, similar to a punch, or a long-range attack. It has also been demonstrated that he can repel projectiles aimed at him with it.
Hell Wink is a variation of Death Wink, after increasing the size of his head with Face Growth Hormones by using his Horu Horu no Mi abilities, he fires a much stronger wink; one with greater range, greater capacity for damage and a much-greater area of effect.
Chief Guard Saldeath and Hannyabal died by Luffy's hand shortly after. But the path was then blocked by a sexy woman and the three Jailer Beasts.
Luffy groaned. "Why are there so many obstacles!" He whined as he unsheathed his cutlass and appeared in front of the three Jailer Beasts.
*SHING!!!!*
The Jailer Beasts were dead from one powerful slash sent by Luffy. The slash cleanly decapitated their heads.
Luffy ignored the shocked reaction of the sexy girl dressed up as a succubus and commanded his army to keep going.
"Wait, why is he here?" Luffy narrowed his eyes as he and his army arrived at Level 1 of Impel Down.
"Who is here?" Ivankov asked. Luffy clenched his fists.
"The guy who teamed up with the three Admirals to capture Ace. Marshall D Teach, also known as Blackbeard. " Luffy explained solemnly. He then looked at Ivankov.
" You take some guys with you and go to the Generator Room. If my memory serves me correctly, it's located on the first floor, before Level 1 and as are the controls to open the Gates of Justice. Better do it quickly, Ivan-san. We don't want to stay here any longer. " Luffy ordered.
" You got it, Mugiwara-boy!"

"Oh hell no." Luffy whispered as he and his army were faced with some people blocking their way.
"Zehahahahaha!!! Mugiwara!! Long time no see!!!! How's your crew doing?!" It was Blackbeard and his crew. Luffy looked at the crew who failed to capture him and his crew when they were about to go to Skypiea.
"Get out of my way, bastard."
Luffy suddenly appeared in front of Blackbeard with his fists hardened with Busoshoku Haki and Gear Second activated.
"Gomu Gomu no..... HAWK GATLING!!!!!!"
His fists ignited and released a stream of fire. It was so fast, Blackbeard's brain didn't process the pain until it ended.
*BAAAAAM!!!!!*
Luffy's fist punched through Blackbeard's chest, making Blackbeard scream as loud as his throat allowed him to. Luffy felt like Blackbeard was overreacting, but he isn't at all.
Blackbeard had eaten the Yami Yami no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create and control darkness at will, making him a Darkness Human.
This fruit is considered 'unique' even for a Logia-type, and the ability it grants is said to be the 'most evil'.
The first and foremost strength is that it allows him to control darkness and its unique property of gravity
The major strength of this particular fruit, the darkness that he turns into which swallows up everything, is also its major weakness.
Since the darkness also absorbs attacks, he is still vulnerable in battle, which does not pass through the darkness they turn into. If he fails to absorb an attack in time, he can be hurt like any other normal human being or even more.
"AHHHHHH—
"Shut up. " Luffy whispered as he unleashed his Haoshoku Haki, effectively incapacitating the Blackbeard and his pirate crew. Luffy looked at his bloodied hand and looked back at his army.
"Let's go everyone."

At the main entrance of Impel Down, Luffy and his army have reached topside and have taken out the guards. Ivankov and the group of people he took to the Generator Room regrouped with them. The missing to open the Gates Of Justice was a success.
Everyone was more than pumped for a fight and prepared for the worst as they opened the gate. Much to their surprise, they find no guards waiting for them and there are no ships as well.
"Look! There's one over there!" Ivankov pointed at a Marine battleship just barely on the horizon. Luffy grinned as he stretched out his arms towards the ship, grabbing it.
"Grab onto me everyone!!" Luffy ordered as his feet started sinking onto the ground. Jinbe and Ivankov arrived behind him and started pulling Luffy. The rest of the army started pulling on Ivankov, Jinbe and each other as Luffy started pulling the ship towards them.
"Gomu Gomu no.....ROCKET!!!!" Luffy then launched himself onto the battleship and landed on it. With a quick burst of Haoshoku Haki, the Marines on the ship were knocked out.
The army of Impel Down prisoners cheered loudly as they boarded the ship and started throwing the unconscious Marines down to the sea.
Luffy sat on the deck as Jinbe quickly manned the ship, steering it towards where the Gates Of Justice were.
"It's too early to celebrate everyone! We still have the real war to fight in! And there are more who are trying to prevent us from making history!!!" Luffy shouted as he pointed at the battleships that started firing upon the escapees' ship while pursuing them.
"My friends! Man the cannons and rain hell upon them!! LET'S GET OUTTA HERE!!!!!"
"AYE AYE CAPTAIN!!!!!"
Volume 1 Ended.....
