49 Decision
Usopp was sitting calmly while looking at the calm sea. He had just gotten the 'killing talk' from Luffy.
And now that he thought about it, Kuro deserved to be killed. He had lied to everyone in the village for 3 whole years. He also showed no remorse about wanting to kill Kaya and even his own crew mates.
Usopp sighed. 'Dad probably killed some people too. There's no chance he didn't. He probably got over it just like I should too. ' Usopp nodded, deciding to take his time on fully understanding what he had just done.
'No amount of lying to people that I'm alright can make this horrible feeling I feel in my heart disappear. Luffy told me to take my time, so I should do that. Huh?' Usopp hummed as he heard footsteps approaching him from behind.
He turned around to see Kaya walking towards him. He blushed a little, seeing her smiling warmly at him.
Kaya sat down on the soft grassy ground beside him. She moved closer to him. Usopp smiled at her.
"Hi Kaya. Why haven't you gone back to your mansion yet?" Usopp asked her.
"I feel like I need to talk to you. Besides, you're more important." Kaya then had a blush on her face.
"Now can we talk about how you l-love me?" She stuttered out. Usopp gulped and chuckled nervously.
"Hehehe..... Uh, I'm not gonna beat around the bush. Yes Kaya, I love you with all of my heart. And I'm uh....gonna take this one step further. K-kaya...W-will you be my g-girlfriend?" Usopp asked bravely even though he was sweating bullets and trembling uncontrollably.
He saw Kaya frowning and looking down. Usopp sighed, knowing he was going to be rejected.
"It's not that I want to reject you, Usopp. It's just..... you're going to set sail with the Straw Hat Pirates right? I just don't think a long distance relationship is going to work out for the both of us. " Kaya muttered. Usopp sighed again.
" Then join us, Kaya. If you want to that is. "
Everyone looked at Luffy who was smiling at the two while approaching them. Kaya looked down.
" But what can I do? The only thing that's useful about me is that I'm rich and that I can maybe run multiple businesses. " Kaya whispered. Luffy grinned at her.
" That's super useful! You can be the crew's sponsor!" Luffy complimented her.
" But Luffy-san, I don't think being just a rich girl is going to be useful in the Grand Line. I have medical knowledge, but only just a little. " Kaya argued.
" A little is better than nothing. You can be our crew's temporary doctor. But your main thing is being our sponsor. " Luffy explained.
" Alright! Stop worrying and pack your bags Kaya!! What's your dream!? Everyone in my crew must have one!! Dreams are things that keep us going and fighting!! So tell me, what's your dream?" Luffy asked her. Kaya stood up and looked at him with a fiery look.
" My dream!! Is to be the richest person in the world!!" Kaya shouted. Luffy gave her a thumbs up.
" Then welcome to the Straw Hat Pirates, Kaya and Usopp!! We're gonna stay here for about a week or two so that we can get some training in. If you wanna join us, just find us at the south side of the island! " Luffy waved at them before using Soru to disappear.
Kaya looked at Usopp who was grinning at her. She hugged him tightly.
"Yes!" She shouted.
"Huh?"
"Yes Usopp! I will be your girlfriend!!" Kaya repeated, surprising Usopp. Usopp's grin broadened and he hugged her back.
"Thank you, Kaya! I promise I will be the best boyfriend ever!!"

One day later.....
"Hey guys, uh, can I join in?" Usopp asked Luffy who was busy sparring with Zoro and Nami at the same time.
"Yeah sure! You're on Zoro's team! Use everything ya got!" Luffy replied back and dodged a sword swipe from Zoro. Usopp grinned and took out his slingshot, Ginga Pachinko. He took out three lead balls and fired them at the same time, all aiming towards Luffy's head.
"Namari Boshi!!"
Luffy grinned and used Kami-e to dodge the three lead balls. The new technique surprised everyone.
Kami-e allows users to relax their body and make it take on the characteristics of a piece of paper. This grants the user extraordinary flexibility that allows them to avoid any attacks.
The body being in this paper-like state also allows the user to float on the wind, as well as the ability to bend and contort their body.
Zoro smirked. 'He just keeps surprising me everyday. But now it's my turn to do something surprising.' Zoro closed his eyes. He suddenly disappeared, Luffy was surprised.
'That was Soru! Nice Zoro!!' Luffy grinned.
Zoro reappeared behind him while going into a familiar stance.
"Oni Giri!!!!"
Luffy grinned and unsheathed his cutlass. Zoro was still slow in his eyes, but now with him being able to utilize Soru, he would have to use more of his power.
Zoro appeared in front of him and attempted to slice him up. Luffy dodged it with Kami-e again and started floating on the wind due to his body being in a paper-like state.
He landed on the ground and his body returned to normal again. "There must be correlation between these techniques you're using. Is it like a fighting style or something?" Nami wondered. Luffy grinned and gave her a thumbs up.
"You're correct Nami! I'm using a superhuman martial arts style called the Rokushiki. Rokushiki is the main style of combat for the World Government's agents. " Luffy revealed.
" Now this is something surprising. How are you able to use techniques specifically for the World Government? " Zoro asked. Luffy grinned broadly at him.
" Not telling! Bweh!! " Luffy stuck out his tongue, making Zoro scoff.
"Let me continue, Rokushiki consists of six basic techniques and a secret seventh technique that only a true master of Rokushiki can achieve. " Luffy then continued to explain the six techniques. There were Geppo, Soru, Tekkai, Rankyaku, Shigan, Kami-e and the secret seventh one, Rokuogan.
"This Soru sounds interesting. Is that what Zoro used just now?" Usopp asked which Luffy nodded.
" Yeah, it allows you to move at extremely high speeds. You need to kick off the ground at least ten times in the blink of an eye. " Luffy explained the principles.
" Sounds hard.... " Usopp whispered.
" It does sound hard. " Luffy muttered standing beside him out of nowhere, scaring Usopp and making him jump away.
"But Usopp, hard work always prevails. It took me months of hardcore training to be able to do it. If kid me can do it, you can too. You just need to have discipline. " Luffy told him seriously. Usopp nodded at that.
" The Grand Line has a lot of strong people there. Only the strong survive there. I may sound harsh, but I will not tolerate weakness in my crew. Everyone needs to have their own strengths. Usopp has good aim, Nami is a goddess at navigation, Zoro is good at swordfighting. And Kaya.... Where's Kaya? " Luffy asked Usopp.
" She's preparing a ship for us. " Usopp revealed.
" Then what are we waiting for! We're gonna continue training later! I wanna see the ship! Usopp, take us there!! "
" Alright, captain!! "

At Kaya's mansion.....
" Are you sure about this, Kaya Ojou-sama? " A servant of Kaya asked. Kaya looked at him.
He is a tall, formally dressed butler whose most distinguishing feature is his lamb-themed appearance.
His hair is curly like a lamb's fleece and has two lamb horns sticking out of it; these have been seen shorter 20 years before the start of the series. His lips also resemble those of a lamb's. Even his collar has a fleece around it.
"Yes, Merry. I'm serious. I realize the reason why I'm always sick is because of confinement in my home and my sorrow towards my father and mother's deaths. I want to explore this mysterious world I live in." Kaya replied to Merry.
" But traveling to the Grand Line and being a pirate. What will your father and mother say?" Merry asked. Kaya smiled.
" The Straw Hat Pirates aren't bad people, Merry. And I aim to accomplish my dream of becoming the world's richest person. They are the ones who will help me get to the top." Kaya answered him. Merry sighed.
" If that is what you want, then I won't say anymore. I wish you well, and do try to visit. " Merry smiled at her which Kaya nodded back.
" Kaya!! " Usopp shouted. Kaya looked at him and smiled.
"Usopp!" She went up and hugged him. Merry raised an eyebrow, and so did Zoro and Nami. Luffy just grinned at them.
"Merry, this is Monkey D Luffy, the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates. He's the captain who invited me and Usopp to join his crew." Kaya introduced. Merry nodded.
" A pleasure to meet you, Luffy-san. I take it that you're all here to see your new ship" Merry asked. Luffy nodded repeatedly.
Merry nodded and held out his hand.
"Follow me."
