"A pirate playing the good guy? You're a damn hypocrite!" Doflamingo shouted. Luffy shook his head.

" I became a pirate because I want to explore the world, find the One Piece and become the Pirate King. I chose to be the good guy because it's who I am and it's the right thing to do. Besides, what good is a pirate if he can't do what he wants? Luffy asked as he started walking away from him.

" And you're one to talk, you're a bad guy working for an organization that maintains law and order." Luffy muttered. Doflamingo grinned and just walked away.

"Why did you attack him?! " Bonney muttered after being silent for a long time. Luffy frowned as he looked down at her.

"Dad or not, he tried to kill you. The smartest thing you could do right now is to survive. Teddy bear's not himself right now, I sure as hell know that. Maybe you could find the guy who made him like this and ask to turn him back to normal." Luffy suggested.

"Vegapunk.... " Bonney widened her eyes and looked back at him. She smirked evilly.

"I know the guy who made dad like this. I'll go find him after I enter the New World. You go safe Ace, I'll regroup with the rest." Bonney said, regaining her confidence. Luffy smirked before he use Soru to reach the plaza.

Luffy growled angrily as Mihawk appeared in front of him with his Black Blade, Yoru drawn. He unsheathed his cutlass.

"My apologies Red-Hair, I will not hold back here." Mihawk whispered.

"You painted that blade or what?!" Luffy shouted as he sent a compressed air blade towards Mihawk who slapped it away with his blade. Jinbe joined up with Luffy while Marco was watching from the side, ready to join whenever the situation is dire.

A dark red aura covered his Armament Haki infused cutlass. Mihawk blinked, noticing that Luffy could use Emission.

'Emission already? Impressive.' Mihawk thought before Luffy sent multiple air blades towards him Mihawk swiped them away before multiple droplets of water were in front of him.

"Fish-Man Karate: Water Shot!" Mihawk widened his eyes as he saw into the future for a brief moment at what the droplets could do to him.

The droplets were in reality deadly bullets with the kinetic force created by Jinbe's immense fish-man strength. Mihawk jumped away from the droplets with one of them grazing his cheek, creating a small cut on his cheek.

"Fish-Man Karate: Seven Thousand Tile Roundhouse Kick!" Jinbe appeared in front of Mihawk and delivered a powerful roundhouse kick to which the swordsman blocked it with his blade.

There was a powerful shockwave that sent the men around the vicinity of the fight flying.

"Fish-Man Karate: Arabesque Tile True Punch!"

Jinbe jumped back and punched at a fair distance from Mihawk, transmitting the force of the blow through the water vapor in the air to release a shock wave that sent Mihawk skidding back.

"A valiant effort." Mihawk whispered before looking at Luffy behind him. With a swipe of his sword, he sent a green air blade at Luffy.

Luffy saw it coming from the corner of his eyes and flipped over it at the last second. The air blade devastated the ground far away from him.

Mihawk sliced two random pirates that got in his way before he appeared in front of Luffy with pure speed. He sliced horizontally at him but Luffy bent his rubber body, dodging it.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!*

Luffy widened his eyes a little as he saw the attack sliced the glacier in two, causing the upper half to come crashing down on Marineford.

Jinbe restarted his battle with Mihawk, serving as a distraction for Luffy to get closer to the execution platform. Luffy sliced away any Marine that tried to get in his way with relative ease.

"Vista! Lend them a hand!"

"Leave it to me!! You go get her Straw Hat!!" The fifth division commander, 'Floral Blade' Vista jumped in to assist Jinbe in distracting Mihawk.

Sengoku would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous a little. Since Luffy and his alliance arrived, he has killed every single member of the Giant Squad and Warlord Moria while one of his alliance members killed a Vice Admiral.

Also, Law and Marco have been helping Luffy avoid any life threatening situation he found himself in.

Luffy himself was close, very close to rescuing Ace. Until Garp had to get in his way. Sengoku nodded to himself and continued overseeing the battle. The old Vice Admiral will buy loads of time for the preparations to be completed.

Meanwhile, as the ultimate battle set to change the course of history itself was ongoing, the people all over the world gathered in Sabaody, could only hold their breath and watch the battle live from monitors as their course of future is decided in Marineford.

"Gramps...." Luffy frowned as he was forced to stop running towards the execution platform. The people watching the battle from Sabaody gasped as they saw Garp in Luffy's way.

Rayleigh and Shakky who were also watching, prayed in their hearts that Garp would go soft on his own grandson.

"Move outta my way, gramps!! I don't wanna spar with you right now!!" Luffy shouted. Garp cracked his knuckles.

"If you want to get past here, you have to go through me brat!" Garp declared. Luffy gritted his teeth.

" You're an asshole, old man! Why are you stopping me from saving her?!" Luffy shouted.

"Because I'm a Vice Admiral of the Marines, idiot! " Garp shouted back.

" You want her to die?! You adopted her, she saw you as her grandfather!! And now you're just gonna sit and watch as she gets her head chopped off?!"

" Ace is an adult!! She knew full well that this would be the consequence when she went out there and declared her true heritage!"

" And you're a heartless bastard you know that!!" Luffy shouted as he coated his fists with Haki. Garp narrowed his eyes as Luffy appeared in front of him with Soru and threw a Haki imbued punch with Rokuogan and Emission added to it.

*BAAAAANG!!!!*

Garp stopped it with one hand, but he winced a little from the punch. 'He's got stronger. The punches actually sting now. But it stings like a mosquito!!' Garp thought before throwing a punch at his grandson. Luffy dodged the punch before he leaped back and entered a stance.

"Gear Second!" Gear Second roared to life as steam rose off his body. At blinding speeds, he appeared back in front of Garp again.

Their fight ensued. Shockwaves can be felt all around the battlefield from the sheer power from grandfather and grandson.

From an untrained eye, one could say that Garp had really bad aim when he wanted to throw a punch at Luffy. But in Whitebeard's eyes, he could tell that Garp was purposefully missing his shots a little.

"Gomu Gomu no... RED HAWK!!!"

*BAAAAANG!!!!!*

"Tch!" Garp narrowed his eyes as he blocked Luffy's powerful Haki infused fire punch. The sleeves of his outfit were burned by it.

"Ha!!!" Garp shouted as he threw a punch at Luffy's, aiming for his solar plexus. Luffy held his arms in front of him in a cross, blocking the punch but was sent crashing into the ground.

Luffy quickly got up and went back in again.

"Gomu Gomu no.....HAWK GATLING!!!!!"

"Grr!!!" Garp growled as he was slowly being pushed back by the endless barrage of fiery punches from his grandson.

"ENOUGH OF THIS!!!" An annoyed Garp shouted as he flared his Conqueror's Haki. Luffy clicked his teeth as his arms retracted back into place. He easily ignored the power of Garp's Conqueror's Haki which knocked the pirates around them down.

"BLUE HOLE!!!!" Luffy widened his eyes and gasped as he was grabbed in the face by Garp's hardened right hand. At the same time, black lightning crackled around Garp's hand.

Rayleigh noticing the lightning widened his eyes in horror. Whitebeard's eyes were as wide as saucers too as soon as he noticed it.

'Kid's gonna die!!!!' They both thought before Garp yelled loudly and angrily.

"You're far too weak for me brat!!!!" He shouted before slamming Luffy downwards, creating a massively deep hole in the ground as he fell.

"LUUUFFFYYY!!!!!" Both Hancock and Ace shouted in absolute horror at the same time witnessing the attack commence.

"And that's that!" Garp shouted before patting his hands. Sengoku nodded to himself, congratulating Garp in his mind for not letting his relationship with his grandson get in the way of their fight.

Garp walked away with a grim expression on his face. He put in just enough strength to do two things, one was to take him out of the fight and the other was to show him that he, his crew and his alliance wasn't ready for the New World.

'That man is heartless. Infusing Conqueror's Haki to his attack in a fight with his grandson.' Whitebeard thought while shaking his head.

"Fuck...." Law whispered as he got back onto his ship. He looked at Whitebeard and quickly made his way towards him.

"The spawn of the devil is gone." A satisfied Akainu whispered.

They all underestimate how endurant Luffy was.

Garp froze in place as he heard the slapping sounds of sandals behind him. He slowly turned around to look at the person walking towards him.

"Where the hell do you think you're going, shitty old man?" Luffy whispered. Garp gulped, noticing the amount of injuries Luffy received from Garp's powerful attack.

Luffy's face was bleeding heavily. His nose was broken and bleeding, his mouth and lips were bleeding, his forehead was bleeding and the back of his head was bleeding too. He even had blood flowing out of his eye sockets.

But he got up like nothing happened.

"Gear Second." Luffy whispered after getting into his fighting stance. His body steamed and turned slightly pink and shiny from the increased blood flow.

"Divine Dividing."

Luffy instantly appeared in front of Garp with his cutlass drawn. Garp was forced to block a powerful Haki infused slash from Luffy, making him stagger back.

Luffy sheathed his blade before he appeared in front of Garp again. Garp was onto the defensive as his grandson wasn't giving him room to think about his next move with his constant speedy attacks.

They both threw their fists at each other at the same time. Garp's fist had black lightning crackling around it while Luffy had advanced Armament Haki.

*BAAAAANG!!!!*

Garp obviously won as attacks infused with Conqueror's Haki is waaay powerful than one infused with just Armament Haki.

Luffy was sent to the sky. He quickly used Geppo to stand in midair while Garp appeared in front of him with Soru.

*BAAAAANG!!!!!*

They clashed their fists again with Garp winning, blasting Luffy away. Luffy remained silent as he slammed onto the ground.

He did a kip up and got up before he leaped towards his grandfather diving down at him with his fist raised.

Garp gave him a mean uppercut when they were close to each other, sending Luffy flying high into the sky.

More blood flowed out of Luffy but he didn't waver.

Luffy clenched his fists tightly before he started diving down at Garp, intending to give him the most powerful attack he's ever thrown today.

"GALAXY..."

Garp narrowed his eyes as he jumped towards his diving grandson.

"IMPACT—ACK!!!!"

Luffy stopped his attack and started making choking sounds as Garp grabbed him by the throat with his right hand.

"I'm sorry for doing this, Luffy.... But my hands are tied. "

" Screw you old man, you know full well you can beat everybody's ass here. "

"I'm trying to teach you a lesson here! You aren't ready for the New World!"

"*COUGH!!!* I've had enough of your lessons, shitty old man! I don't want to hear anything from a guy who would let family die right in front of him when he has the capabilities of stopping that, even if it makes him a pirate!"

"You brat..... This is your final lesson for the day. Hope you take it to heart." Garp grabbed Luffy's shoulder with his left hand before pulling his right hand back.

Black lightning crackled around his right hand which also had advanced Armament Haki infused to it.

" GALAXY... IMPACT!!!!!!"

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!*

"LUUUUUUFFFYYY!!!!!!!!!!"
