Signs

1473 of the Sea Circle Calendar.

In the eerie tranquility of the Calm Belt, where the sea lay still as glass and the air hung heavy with an unnatural silence, a gigantic wooden marine ship stood lonely in the waters of the calm belt.

Its sleek form, adorned with the insignia of Nature's Family, contrasted starkly against the desolate backdrop of the Calm Belts, a notorious stretch of ocean infamous for its lack of wind and unpredictable currents.

But this part of the Calm Belts is different, it is within the territory of Nature's Family, one of the safest places in the World. The outside world even refers to it as Paradise for its rumored abundance in wealth, peace and amusements.

'Pew!' 'pew!' 'Czzz!' 'pew!' "Aww"

"This is the second one of the day, what has been happening recently"

A NF Marine questioned staring at the now destroyed pirate ship sinking to the bottom of the calm sea along with the dead bodies of the pirates.

Maybe in the Four Seas, Nature's Triangle, or Nature's Paradise as they call it, is a Legend no different from the so-called Devil Fruit that grants whoever eats it unparalleled power.

But for those that travel the seas, and have managed to make it to the Sabaody Archipelago, they know that the rumors about Nature's Paradise are likely to be real.

And that is why the NF Marines are surprised that pirates are entering their territory with the intent to raid the island that is closer to the border of the Triangle.

"We got news from the headquarters that the seas have been restless lately so it's not surprising that more pirates would wind up in these waters." another marine informed his comrade.

'Sigh…We'll be busy for a while then.'

At another location of the Triangle, a group of pirates had also broken into NF's territory, with their medium size ship, and hundreds of members, they should be one of the big pirate groups in the sea.

They were from the first half of the GrandLine, and only a few years ago, they thought of themselves overlords of the area they frequented, that was until the Navy and the Rocks pirates and a few other big pirates emerged, throwing the seas into chaos.

Realizing that they wouldn't be able to survive in the current seas, they decided to retreat, but they didn't want to retreat without anything, and needed money.

And that's when they thought of 'Nature's Triangle', they had heard stories about its abundance in wealth, so they decided to target one of the countries at its border believing that if they made a quick raid and left, they'd be able to escape before NF's men could catch them.

Unfortunately for them they miscalculated, because as the border country they were targeting appeared on the horizon, they saw in the distance a literal floating wooden platform almost half the size of an island speeding towards them.

It resembles the platform of aircraft carriers from Ephon's previous life. And on top of this platform were hundreds of NF Marines, a formidable defense force of Marines, armed to the teeth with advanced weaponry and gleaming armor.

But what surprised the pirates even more was the speed at which the giant ship was advancing, despite its size, which was the benefits of engines and propellers

"What the hell!?" a pirate exclaimed.

The pirates' eyes widened in disbelief as they beheld the advanced guns and armor of the NF marines, their own outdated weapons paling in comparison.

As the NF marines' stage like ship got closer and closer to the pirates, the NF marines all stood tall and resolute, their disciplined ranks a testament to their unwavering commitment to defend the territory against any threat.

In a swift and coordinated maneuver, the marines unleashed a volley of gunfire, their advanced rifles spitting flames and reinforced bullets as they mowed down the pirates with deadly accuracy.

Shhhh! Pew! Pew! Pew!

The pirates, caught off guard by the overwhelming firepower of NF, failed to properly react, "Aww!" their bravado crumbling in the face of such formidable resistance.

With each thunderous blast, a pirate would fall, and although there were a few Haki using pirates among the group, some of the weapons of the NF marines were also coated in Haki.

Not to mention the superior technology and training of NF which proved to be overwhelming for the pirates' crude weaponry and reckless tactics.

The remaining pirates, realizing their folly in underestimating their opponents, scrambled to retreat, "Retreat!" "Abort Ship!", they shouted. But it was too late, and the NF marines were unmerciful to them, as they continued firing until their ship started to sink.

Their ranks decimated and their hopes of plundering the wealth of Nature's Triangle sank into the Calm Belt along with their dead bodies.

"Haha that's what they get for underestimating us."

"Damm Pirates! scum of the sea, stay out of our home."

"Continue the cycle! Elder Lola has ordered us to continue patrolling, the coming months are expected to be turbulent." A middle aged, green hair man shouted to the celebrating marines..

"As commanded Admiral Billy!"

In the ethereal tranquility of the Calm Belts, where the sea lay still as a mirror reflecting the endless expanse of sky above, a lone figure soared gracefully through the air. She was the Lunarian, Lola, an Elder of Nature's Family.

Her wings shimmered with an otherworldly luminescence as she surveyed the land below with keen eyes. Below her, the territory of NF stretched out in all its splendor.

Some landscapes were lush and verdant, untouched by humans, done purposefully by NF, other landscapes and areas were industrialized, with sea trains, land trains, planes, television, cars and many other advanced technologies.

The citizens of Nature's Triangle all wore smiles on their faces, with peace at mind as they went about their daily lives, unafraid of the dangers that lurked beyond their borders.

As Lola flew overhead, her senses keenly attuned to any sign of danger, she marveled at the tranquility of her home, a haven of peace and harmony in an unforgiving world.

Yet, beneath the surface calm, she knew that lurking beyond the horizon lay the ever-present threat of Piracy, the WG, at many other unknowns that could potentially disrupt the idyllic existence of her people, her family.

Suddenly her eyes caught sight of a huge wooden ship sailing below, its sails billowing in the gentle breeze. A smile appeared on her face as she had recognized the familiar emblem emblazoned on its hull – the Giant Tree, the symbol of 'Nature's Family'.

Without hesitation, she angled her descent, gracefully swooping down from the sky to land on the deck of the ship.

"Lola! It's nice to see you."

"It's nice to see you too Ephon"

As she touched down, Lola was greeted with warm smiles and outstretched arms. Standing before her was the leader of Nature Family whom she regarded as her brother, Ephon Jarilo and his wife Diana.

"It must be rough on you Lola." Diana said apologetically.

"It's not a problem for me, this is my family after all, but where are you guys going at this time?"

"Oh, it's been a few years since Hercule left and I felt like taking Diana out sightseeing." Ephon said as he pointed towards Diana.

"Oh, you guys… some things never change."

"But what about you and Nolan, you guys should take a break from work once in a while to spend time together.." Diana asked curiously, her face full of mischief.

"Nolan… we've been busy lately with maintaining order in the Triangle, as Ephon predicted, the coming years are expected to be turbulent, and we're already seeing signs of that, so we need to prepare." Lola explained

"Don't overwork yourself, you should let the juniors share some of the pressure for the family." Ephon advised.

"You know me Ephon, this is nothing."

"Well, suit yourself."

"Alright I'll get out of you two love birds way, enjoy your time 'sightseeing'." Lola said jokingly as she flew off into the sky.

"Haha, this girl."
