42 Guess Who?

Amidst the salty spray of the sea and the billowing sails of their ship, the Roger Pirates revel in their hard-earned victory over the notorious Rocks pirates.

"Stupid Rocks Pirates, that's what they get for messing with us!" "Hahaha!"

Laughter and cheers fill the air as they celebrate their triumph, their voices blending with the rhythm of the waves as they recount tales of their daring exploits.

But Roger and Rayleigh wore a more serious expression at this time, holding a 'Nature's News' newspaper in his hands, Rayleigh's face had a look of confusion.

"How did they get these pictures, some of them were even taken before you and Garp started fighting Xebec." he asked puzzled.

"Haha, It seems the legends about them aren't far from the truth." Roger answered.

The Roger pirates had also received the news about the God Valley Event from Nature's News. And they knew immediately upon receiving the Newspaper who was behind Nature's News, unlike the other forces in the sea.

And from the pictures they've seen in the newspaper, they believed that they should have been able to sense the one taken them. But yet they didn't, not only that, they cared more about what Nature's News represented in the World.

They can dissect a few things from the fact that Nature's News reported on the God Valley Event, something Roger and Rayleigh truly believe the World Government would like to be erased from history.

One, NF and the WG are definitely not allies, otherwise, NF wouldn't do something like this. And second, Nature's Family can't be understood or judged with common logic.

Most forces that are aware of NF's existence, think that they are a secluded force, that was once second only to the World Government in terms of fighting force, and speculate that after retiring from piracy, they've become a neutral organization with its own territory after making a deal with the WG to stay out of each other's business.

But based on the fact that Nature's Family published this newspaper, that theory was probably untrue. Or maybe something happened behind the scenes between these two forces that they were unaware of.

"These guys may know a lot of secrets about the World and even the World Government." Roger thought aloud.

"You're probably right, I heard that 'The Seer' of the Darkworld is the wife of the leader of Nature's Family." Rayleigh couldn't help but agree with Roger's words.

With time, over the past 40 years, rumors of the identity of the ruler of the underworld's biggest intelligence sector were slowly revealed.

But only a select few know about this, like the WG and the other Emperors of the Darkworld, in fact, Diana is currently the oldest Emperor of the Darkworld.

So her prestige is very high among the current giants of the Darkworld, and just like the generation before them, even they don't know how she acquires certain information.

"Is Shakuyaku the one who told you this?" Roger suddenly asked, not hiding the meaningful smile on his face.

"Why does it matter?" Rayleigh replied.

"Whahaha, you're right!"

As the festivities reached a crescendo, Roger seemed to have remembered something, a gleam of mischief in his eyes.

With a flourish, he gestures towards a weathered treasure chest that sits at the center of their impromptu celebration, its lid adorned with intricate carvings of sea creatures and mythical beasts.

Seeing Roger's actions, the curious crew members gathered around the chest, anticipation crackling in the air as they eagerly awaited its contents.

"What do you think it is?"

"It's obviously gold." A crew member answered confidently.

"I think it's a Devil Fruit."

With a dramatic flourish, Roger swung open the lid, revealing a gleam of golden light, but inside the chest was something far more unexpected than the crew members guessed.

Nestled within the depths of the chest lies a tiny bundle, wrapped in swaddling cloth and emitting soft, contented coos. As the crew peers inside, their surprise quickly gives way to awe as they realize the precious cargo before them—a newborn babe, with fiery red hair and bright, intelligent eyes.

Nestled within the tranquil waters of the Calm Belts, on a secluded island that serves as the clandestine Science Headquarters of Nature's Family.

Hidden from prying eyes, a secret laboratory lies concealed beneath the dense canopy of tropical foliage, its existence known only to the Five Elders and the President of Nature's Triangle.

Within the dimly lit confines of the laboratory, Dr. Fuma could be seen hunched over a cluttered workbench, surrounded by an array of intricate equipment and bubbling vials.

"Ha, is this…"

Suddenly, a breakthrough occurs—a moment of clarity that sets his heart racing with excitement. With trembling hands, he examines the results of his experiment, his eyes widening in disbelief at the significance of his findings.

"Hahaha, I did it, I finally discovered the Lineage Factor, after 50 years of research. Hey you! go get Elder Ephon!"

Filled with a sense of euphoria, Fuma wasted no time in summoning his fellow researchers. With urgent determination, he instructed them to bring Ephon to the laboratory, eager to share his discovery.

Dr. Fuma couldn't contain his excitement, you know, biology isn't really his specialty, so when Ephon had told him to start researching genealogy, he didn't know where to start.

He is more of an engineer than a biologist, but it's not like he didn't know a little about biology. So he decided to learn as he researched, while also searching for other biologists to assist him in his research.

Over the past 50 years, he was more focused on developing secret weapons for Nature's Family than researching the Lineage Factor. And only from time to time, would he take some time to focus on his Lineage Factor research.

And finally, after more than 50 years, he has finally found it. The Lineage Factor. During the last stages of his research, he discovered the many possibilities of the Lineage Factor, which is why he was so excited.

All lifeforms have the Lineage Factor, and by manipulating it, the growth of a life form can be changed.

The growth of the life form can be changed to make it stronger, or weaker, and with more control over the manipulation of the Lineage Factor, certain supernatural powers can be added to the Lineage Factor of the life form.

Fuma had already discovered years ago during his experimentations that eating a Devil Fruit affects one's genealogy, which he now confirms to be the Lineage Factor, allowing the eater to gain a supernatural power.

Just thinking about the possibilities made him shake in joy, the possibilities were endless if he could learn how to manipulate the Lineage Factor, at least that's what he feels.

"So you've finally discovered it, Fuma."
