3 Accomplished in a Decade
1420 - Voca Island
In the New World, in one of the bars on a rocky island that formed a rugged outpost surrounded by clear, glistening waters, a small group were having a banquet. Jutting rocks, weathered by time, form a natural fortress along the shoreline.
The waves gently caress the rocky edges, creating a harmonious dance between land and sea. Seabirds perch on weathered cliffs, and tide pools nestled between the rocks reveal marine life.
"Hahaha, Agnes your bounty is still lower than mine" In a crowded Tavern on Voca Island, the loud voice of a brown bearded, beige brown skin man standing at about ten feet tall with a giant Ax his waist could be heard.
"Hmm, Apollo you Midget, I don't have to prove myself so the World Government doesn't know my true self, you're the one that always tries to prove himself "Agnes, standing at seven feet tall, with beige brown skin and a sword on the right side of his waist restored back with a arrogant expression.
"You Shrimp, I'll c…"
"Alright guys, calm down, you're too drunk, who would believe that you guys are brothers… well I certainly wouldn't hahaha"
Before the two men could continue their argument, a blue eyed man interrupted them. He had on a white gentleman's suit with a top hat covering his blonde hair and a cane in his hands, anyone would think that he was a nobleman.
Although he was only eight feet tall compared to the ten feet tall Apollo, no one underestimated him.
"Nolan, just because you were the first to follow brother Ephon doesn't mean you're the boss, don't tell me what to do… is what I want to say, but the boss said to listen to you when he's not around" Apollo started of confidently but was the first to back down than followed by his brother Agnes.
"But I don't get it, how can you guys share the same mother and father but he is ten feet tall and you're only 7 or 8 feet tall ?" A female voice broke the tension, it was a beautiful woman standing at about thirteen to 15 feet tall with a pair of black-feathered wings, silver white hair and clear brown skin.
"I'm the normal one, our mom was only about my height, while our dad was about your height, he's the one who is short for a Giant, I'm just a normal human haha" Agnes was seemingly waiting for this opportunity and wasted no time 'exposing' their family situation.
"Lola, don't believe him our mom was about my height and he's the one who's a midget"
"But what do guys think about the Ephon's plan?" Lola, seeing that the brothers were about to start again, quickly changed the subject.
"We already have the scientist group and the blueprints for the preliminary inventions, we are currently the strongest pirate group in the new world, so it's time for us to settle down like the boss promised in the beginning, and you already know that many organizations covet Ephon's body for his wood creation ability.
Including the Navy and World Government, since they discovered that his strengthen wood release is comparable to the Treasure Tree Adam and the wood that was left back from the attack 'Sage Art Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands' although it lost its strength, it retains some of its ability to regenerate as long as it's not fully destroyed. In fact our recent intelligence says that that island is still a military restricted zone, so you know its importance."
"I still don't get it, how is that gonna get rid of our bounties?" Apollo interrupted scratching his head with a look of confusion.
"Well, let's put it this way, the truth is, we don't need to have our bounties revoke to move unhindered in these seas, we just prefer to have less trouble if possible, and you also know brother Ephon's personality, and according to the Ephon's plan, the world government can be a possible customer, even possibly our biggest customer" Nolan replied.
The truth is, Nolan believes that after their last fight, the WG would also prefer a captured breathing Ephon than a dead Ephon, although he doesn't believe that it's possible for the WG to accomplish that.
Because the WG by now has realized that Ephon is a monster in human skin, a monster that can't even be killed even when he was stabbed through the chest in a three on one fight, and that is why his bounty is abnormally high, because they are also testing his limits, and they still can't see the end of it. And when they realized that all their methods were ineffective, both the navy and the WG attacked them together with other big pirates.
"The thing is, Ephon had already told them that when their strength threatens the WG's rule this might happen and he had prepared a move he never used for that moment, and that is Sage Art Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands" Lola paused and then looked over to Nolan.
Seeing Lola's expression Nolan sighed, and then looked at the different expressions of the three main cadres and the other low ranking members in their Group.
"Ephone used Sage Art Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands not only to show strength but also because he was aware of what it means to the world government to have regenerative wood, he told me a long time ago during one of our discussions that even if someone had monstrous strength and was bloodthirsty, the world government would rather catch them alive than kill them as long as they don't aim to destroy the WG, and don't ask me how Ephon knows these things about the world government, even I don't know how, and both of us meet as kids.." after pausing Nolan continued.
"But anyways, he knew that after the world government saw the value of the wood left back from that move, and his strength to fight multiple generals on his own, the world government would have to take a step back to evaluate his threat and value, and during that time is when he would extend an olive branch by exiting the stage of the new world, basically limiting his current threat and at the same time giving the world government what they want, so both sides win, the world government can save face and lose a powerful enemy while gaining powerful resources, as for what we gain, we'll have to wait until Ephon comes back."
Silence, utter silence, all of them knew that their leader was a monster, both in terms of brain and power but.. such a far reaching plan, even Nolan who joined Ephon at the age of thirteen after running away from home was shocked when he had realized the plan.
The thing is, Nolan, Apollo, Lola and Agnes all knew that Ephon had a secret move a long time ago, but he never used in in fights, even when he got stabbed through the chest, although they wondered why, they never bothered with it, but who would've thought that the reason was because Ephon was waiting on the moment the world government, the navy and pirates team up to show his full strength.
The four main cadres know that Ephon grew up in a forest on an Island called Jarilo, where according to him he was abandoned and was actually raised by the Island, so the knowledge that Ephon shows to them is sometimes inhuman. Sometimes they can't help but think about what would happen if Ephon's ambition was to rule the world.
Just thinking about some of the ideas for inventions alone made them shudder, and this is one of the reasons why Nolan is confident that Ephon will succeed, because even if the world government knew about their plans and ambition, they would tried to help them fulfill it, rather than stopping them.
Because all the cadres, high ranking and low ranking knows that Ephon had no ambition to take over the world or rule the seas, but they are also aware that he would go to war with the world government if they threaten his ambition of a simple life, and why would the world government do that?
Only the four cadre knows about Ephon's long lifespan, and they are also aware of the mythical object called Pure Gold which can slow down aging granting one semi immortality. And they all want to have their own family based on their own terms, so they fully support Ephon. They already chose a remote and Isolated area that might not lose in size to the territories in the new world, and that is the Calm Belts.
"Hee hee.. did you guys miss me, what with these expressions" a sudden voice brought everyone out of their thoughts.
"Brother" "Ephon" "Ephon" "Leader"..
"Why are you guys so happy to see me, did you guys think I would die, common guys you should know my strength by now" the smiling Ephon who was now twenty years old, stood at about 8 feet tall with bronze brown skin and his neck long black hair was slicked back. He had on a white robe with a giant green tree painted on the right side of his chest and an emerald green sword hanging by his waist.
"Yes we get it, now show us the form" Nolan was long used to Ephon's way of doing things so he didn't give him a chance to continue boasting.
"Tch, you're no fun, here it is, this is what they're gonna publish publicly and this is the private deal" Ephon put on a sad expression and gave two forms to Nolan.
"Lets see, here it is, it says "Nature's Family pirate group has decided to abandon their life as Pirates after their last battle with the Navy, and we the World Government love to see when light overcomes darkness, so we as the government of the world will revoke the bounties of all the following members of the Pirate Group Nature's Family"
"Bullshit, why did they make it seem like we lost and are afraid of them? We obviously won the last fight, and they teamed up against us, and with pirates nonetheless" Apollo couldn't hold back after hearing the report and smashed his hands on a table, easily breaking it.
"Calm down Polo, what's wrong with giving the world government some face to get more benefits, continue Nolan" Ephon's voice quickly calmed down not only Apollo but the other members.
