Chapter 60: G5 Destroys, Admiral Ends!

Coughing twice, Virgo buried his head and covered it with one hand while grasping the stone wall of the cave with the other. He staggered out of the hole that had been knocked out, his eyes groggy and starless. What kind of monstrous force was this? Virgo's heart grew cold. Kaido's power was simply beyond his comprehension, far superior to Akainu, who he had considered the strongest he had ever seen.

More than a year ago, Akainu and Aokiji had fought at Punk Hazard, not far from the G5 branch, and Virgo had witnessed the battle. At that time, he thought that their power to change the environment, affect the weather, and collapse the geology was the pinnacle of the world. But now, it seemed that their abilities couldn't even make a splash in front of Kaido.

Suddenly, the airflow began to rage. A gust of wind lifted, blowing away the dust around him and causing Kaido's purple coat to flutter. "Virgo!" Kaido looked at the slightly weakened Virgo and didn't intend to give him time to rest. With a casual swing of his stick, the invisible stick energy burst out with greater power and range than the Thunder Eight Trigrams, heading straight for Virgo.

Virgo's mind was shocked, and he felt a great danger. Instantly, his figure transformed into blue lightning and he leaped away from the spot. To his astonishment, a powerful breath passed by him and hit the target. In an instant, the space where he had just been looked as if it had been gnawed by a kilometer of Sea Kings. The vast open space and pillbox disappeared, leaving only a few tiny fragments to splash around and a large hole leading to the sea.

Looking at this horrific scene, Virgo's face paled, and cold sweat dripped from his sideburns. Some debris hit his body, making his burned wound throb with heat. But he didn't have time to focus on the pain.

"Don't look away," Kaido said. "Didn't the Marines even teach you what you should pay attention to when fighting?"

Kaido had already flashed in front of him again, grabbing the mace above his head with both hands and slamming it toward Virgo. The earth crumbled, buildings nearby cracked and collapsed, and a deep pit appeared under the mace. But Virgo wasn't there. With the superior mobility of the Thunder Fruit, he had switched positions again before Kaido's move and appeared right above Kaido.

In mid-air, he attacked Kaido's neck from the back with the bamboo pole in his hand, using the moves he inexplicably remembered: "One hundred million volts! Thunder Dragon!" With a roar similar to a dragon's, a thunder dragon emerged from the slender bamboo pole, outlined by Virgo's azure lightning.

It overflowed with explosive power, and several bolts of lightning connected to the bamboo as if they were claws. The dragon twisted in the air a few times before hitting Kaido hard.

Rumble! The power of the thunder covered Kaido's body, entrapping him in a layer of azure armor. However, the thunder could only roll repeatedly on his tough skin and failed to harm him. "One hundred million?" Kaido tilted his head slightly, unaffected by the lightning. He squinted at Virgo and sneered, "It's far worse than Big Mom! Go back and practice again." Then, he turned his body, holding the mace and swinging it with one arm.

Virgo turned into lightning again, attempting to dodge the blow. But this time, Kaido kept up. As Virgo turned into a flash of thunder, he caught sight of Kaido's grinning shadow. Kaido remained parallel to him in his thunderbolt form.

Virgo's heart tightened, and he hurriedly changed direction, flying towards the sky, but the Kaido mace followed. Its tip, covered with tyranny, expanded into a large barbed ball and struck Virgo's lightning form once more. At the moment of contact, Kaido's biceps bulged, and he swung with all his might, like a home run. Boom! A sonic boom with a diameter of tens of meters sounded in mid-air.

He saw the aura circle spread out, and a thunderbolt turned into a bow and arrow fell straight and quickly from mid-air. It shot into the ground, landing with a loud noise. The stone tiles cracked layer by layer, shaking the ground where it landed and sinking into the soil to form a hemispherical pit. The entire island trembled.

Virgo fell again, his breath going from faint to fading. Even after this blow, he seemed to have completely lost his heartbeat. Kaido didn't take a second look; he transformed directly into a green dragon and ascended to heaven with the black dragon conjured from the mace beside him.

"G5, it's time to destroy."

The dragons floated above G5, and both opened their mouths at the same time; one gathered the wind, while the other condensed and extinguished.

"Boro!"

"Breath!"

Pillars of fire erupted from Kaido's mouth and intersected with the Black Dragon's wind blade halfway. Then the pillar of fire expanded and rotated like a high-speed rotating flamestorm, carrying the high temperature and cutting force of Ultimate. When the heat hit the center of the island, the ground immediately melted and was cut off. Under Kaido's control, this firestorm exploded with a bang, and the hot airflow suddenly gushed out over the island, under the sea, and into the sky, raising the temperature of the entire world for a moment.

On the island, a huge flame mushroom appeared. The soldiers hiding in the buildings and corners of the island shouted in unison:

"Don't!"

"I don't want to die..."

"It's all because we're too weak..."

"Even Vice Admiral Vergo can't stop him..."

"Damn!!!"

"Damn Four Emperors! Damn Kaido!"

"Damn the era of sea thieves!"

But they could only watch as the destructive pillar of fire fell and exploded. The heat baked their skin and lips dry, and their hair and eyebrows began to curl and burn. Then the flames erupted, accompanied by fiercely cutting flame wind blades. Under the terrified eyes of countless soldiers, everything within the scope was destroyed, including the lives of these hundreds of people.

The world seemed to be left with only the roar of flames bursting the air. The rest of the people could no longer make a sound. The number of the entire G5 branch was reduced once again. The death toll had exceeded ninety percent. No matter where you hid, as long as you were not far from these ranged attacks of Kaido, the soldiers were bound to die. Most of them died without corpses, either burned to ashes or minced into minced meat. Only some guys far away from Kaido and the center of the island were still shivering with their lips turning purple and blue.

And this branch, which was almost built into the mountains, now stood without them. The mountains were destroyed along with the steel fortifications built by the Marine. Copper walls, guns and ammunition, and top-level warships were also destroyed, almost ninety percent of them.

This was the result Kaido had envisioned after turning his mace, which had been with him for many years, into a dragon. The chemical reaction it caused was not as simple as 1+1=2.

In the distance, warships lined up and sailed into the hot sea. At the front, three Admirals stood side by side on the deck.

"Oh, the heat has spread so far to the sea. It's the same as Sakazuki," Kizaru teased. "He's in a relaxed mood now."

"Tsk. It's too hot, not nice for plants," Araki said unhappily, with a toothpick in his mouth.

"This shows that the battle situation is very serious. I don't know if Vice Admiral Vergo can stop it," Fujitora frowned. "It seems we are at the right distance. We may be able to take a step ahead."

"Well, after all, Sakazuki also wants to save him," Kizaru quipped, his yellow glow shining.

"Then I must save him." A human-sized flower grew behind the barren pasture.

"Let's act," Fujitora said, his scabbard coming out slightly as he sat down in his floating chair.

Each of these three Admirals had their own method of flying.
