Once a slave of the Celestial Dragons, she knew the immense power and status they held in the world. It was a taboo to even think of provoking them.

Captured by slave traders at a young age, Hancock and her two sisters were sold to the Celestial Dragons. Due to her emerging beauty, Hancock suffered greatly, leaving her with a deep psychological scar.

If not for Fisher Tiger's heroic feat of climbing the Red Line to free the slaves, she would still be living as a slave, a mere plaything for the Celestial Dragons. This trauma has stayed with her, becoming a part of her identity. She is very sensitive to anything related to the Celestial Dragons.

Hancock's body trembled, and her emotions became conflicted. Anyone who dared to kill Celestial Dragons should be a hero to her, someone she revered. But Kaido was Luffy's enemy who had destroyed the Kuja Pirates, including her sisters. He even wanted to kill Rayleigh, one of her benefactors.

She reminded herself of her hatred for Kaido, that she was his enemy, and allied with Rayleigh. But after witnessing the killing of the Celestial Dragons, she found it hard to maintain her hatred for Kaido. The fighting spirit in her heart was fading.

Rayleigh and Dragon noticed her trembling. Looking at her, Rayleigh asked, "What's wrong, Hancock?"

"Could it be that the medicine is working?" Dragon frowned and moved closer, doubting that the secret medicine would work so quickly.

Hancock's eyes were watery, and she bit her lips to hold back tears of joy for the death of the Celestial Dragons. She hugged herself, not daring to reveal the truth. She shook her head, unable to confess that she had lost her will to fight.

Gathering her courage, she looked at Kaido, who had turned to face her. She took a deep breath, her arms trembling, and aimed her fingers at him. The power of her Devil Fruit emanated from her.

"Mero Mero Mellow!" she cried out. 

This move usually petrified anyone who coveted her beauty. She recalled how Luffy had not been affected by her beauty when he first arrived at Kuja Island. Instead, he kindly helped her sister cover the Celestial Dragon's mark on her back, which made her fall for him even more after learning he had struck down a Celestial Dragon.

Would Kaido be swayed by her beauty?

The pink love heart from her attack traveled towards Kaido, who disdainfully let it approach. The light wave melted away as it touched him, like snow meeting fire. Kaido remained standing, unaffected by her attack.

Kaido didn't find the beauty of the concubine's body appealing either!

Hancock's jewel-like pupils trembled slightly, and the water droplets in her eyes shook twice, looking both beautiful and fragile. 

"Sure enough, you reacted," Kaido noted, observing Hancock's demeanor, which had softened. He asked solemnly, while holding out a hand in invitation, "If you hate the Celestial Dragons so much, why not join me? I have many opportunities for you to take revenge on them in the future!"

Revenge? Lots of opportunities? Could it be that Kaido...

For a moment, the three of them were lost in thought and became terrified. Even Dragon was shocked by what Kaido had proposed. 

Rayleigh was immediately alarmed. "Hancock?" he called out. He was genuinely afraid that Hancock would be swayed by Kaido's offer because he knew well the dark shadow the Celestial Dragons had cast over her heart. 

Hancock tightened her grip and bit her lip, reminding herself that the man opposite her was her enemy, the murderer of her pirate crew, her family, and her people. 

"I know your past," Kaido continued, mentioning a few key words: "Celestial Dragons, slaves, Fisher Tiger. You're not the only one here who had that experience. You're not the only one who wants revenge on the Celestial Dragons. I did destroy your ship and crew, but we were enemies then, and we may not be in the future. You became a Shichibukai under the World Government's command to protect the Celestial Dragons? Your island? I can help you move it to my sea. Your people? The New World is not the Marine's territory. Even so, do you still want to be my enemy and give up the chance to take revenge on the Celestial Dragons, even if it means sacrificing your entire nation? Just for the Straw Hat and Rayleigh?"

Kaido persuaded Hancock with a cold eye. In his opinion, she was indeed a woman worth wooing. Whether in terms of appearance or strength, she was among the best of the strong.

"You have seen my power. This is at most only half of my strength. Understand? There is no one under the sun who can stop me. Whether it's Straw Hat, Rayleigh, Dragon, or Sabo, they will die here today. Do you want to pull the entire Kujas tribe to bury them? Whether to become my enemy at all costs or my subordinate who can fight the Celestial Dragons, I will only give you one chance."

That was all. Kaido withdrew his gaze and turned to face his two real enemies. Just as Rayleigh and Dragon rushed forward, Rayleigh's broken sword revealed its deadly edge. "Celestial Dragons and the World Government are not as simple as you think. Pirates cannot change the world," Dragon added, as a sharp green breeze enveloped his claw. The air around his claw was so charged it hurt.

Kaido stood still, scales forming on his body. Holding his head high, he faced the two charging at him. His aura soared, shaking the atmosphere and space around them. The islands and waves below sank, and the air seemed to freeze, making it hard for everyone on Sabaody Island to breathe, making them feel heavy.

In the blink of an eye, Kaido's whole body was covered with dragon scales, transforming into a green dragon-man beast, with long, pointed teeth and a dragon's tail sprouting from his back. His body size grew even larger.
