11 Leaving and Ship

[Crocodile pov:]

Hmm... it seems like I wasn't as convincing as I thought I was, just today the Galley-La Company finished building my ship and tomorrow we will leave back to Arabasta.

Speaking about the ship, it was magnificent, I also requested some special features to be added to it. The ship itself was beautiful, made out of Treasure Adam wood, with two big, black sails supported by two masts. I also told them to add two additional storage rooms for my sand. Inspired by Thousand Sunny, the second ship of the Straw Hat Pirates I also decided to put a bar with a large aquarium inside it, where you can see all sorts of marine life.

This is how the rooms are placed:

Inside the ship, several rooms where the cannons, ammunition, and the two additional storage rooms for my sand reside. ( Also where the workshop is.)

Above that, the ship is separated into two parts the front and the back of the ship, united by a open area where the masts are located.

In the front of the ship: on the first floor: the men's quarters reside while on the second floor: the woman's quarters. Above that, where the third floor was supposed to be, is an open area where the helm is.

In the back of the ship, on the first floor: a large bar with an aquarium surrounding it resides. On the second floor: the kitchen (and pantry), the dining hall, the infirmary and the bathroom reside.

On the third floor: is where a big study (with books and cartography tools), and the library reside, along with the captain's quarters aka. my room.

On the front mast, also the talles out of the two I decided to put a room, similar to the one used by Zoro to train.

I wanted as many rooms as possible. Unlike the conventional steering wheels found on traditional sailing ships, the position of this ships steering wheel resembles those found on modern ships

The ship also has a built-in Log Pose, located on a metal pillar of medium height which stands directly behind the ship's helm.

The anchors of the ship are positioned at each side of the front of the ship. The ropes used to raise and lower them are stored inside the metal ring positioned behind the bow. At the back of the ship you can find the Captains quarters.

But by far the biggest feature and the most notable one is the demonic creature sitting just bellow the bow of the ship. The head and torso are visible but the arms are slowly incorporated into the sides of the ship, while the legs unify and follows the keel in water. And further back on the sides of the ships two devil wing appear.

It looks terrifying, especially to the people of this world who regard devils as real things. Maybe they truly are.

Built from Adam wood, she is a magnificent ship.

{Here if you want to see how it looks, I tried to find something cool, but this is the best I could do.}

The rest are sitting besides me admiring the ship. "Whoa... it looks cool, but also terrifying, what's with the creature as the figurehead?" Said Nami.

I responded " It's a demon or a devil, however you wanna call it. A creature from hell."

"Hmm... Truly a beautiful ship that can strike fear in the hearts of our enemies." Mr.1 decided to add.

"I like it, it gives me creepy vibes. So... what's her name?" Miss. Doublefinger spoke.

"From now on this ship will be known as: Hades the Black Serpent."

After saying that we all climbed aboard and began exploring the ship, when I arrived at the two storage rooms, one of them was filled with seastone just like I asked. One by one they began visiting their rooms, and I made my way to the captain's quarters. We explored it a bit after which we met outside again.

Outside the ship Iceburg and everyone who helped build this beautiful thing were waiting for us. "So how do you like it? Also it will take a while until we can put it in water." said Iceburg.

"It's better than I expected, also don't bother. The Sea is pretty close here, where you built it."

"What do you mean?" -Iceburg

After I said that I transformed some materials into sand, enough to cover the bottom of the ship. And that is exactly what I did, then although hard I managed to lift the entire ship into the air and move it into the sea. It left me a bit tired, I probably shouldn't do that again. The shipwrights and even Iceburg had their eyes popping out of their sockets at the show of power. Even Kalifa was a bit shocked at the feat I managed to pull.

"I guess this isn't a problem anymore." -Iceburg

"Whoa... Boss I didn't know you could do that! Your devil fruit is amazing." -Nami

" Yes, his devil fruit is a cut above the rest but it's beacuse of him, who is able to showcase the devil fruits power that you consider it amazing. I bet if there was another who ate the Suna Suna no mi they couldn't do it, they would only think to attack with sand and to transform into it. Usually when people eat a logia type devil fruit they get lazy and forget to train thinking that they're invincible. With devil fruits the most important quality is creativity." -Mr.1

"Hmm... I get it." -Nami

That night, I got an unexpected visitor, Rob Lucci "Hmm... since you are here I believe you accepted my offer. What about the rest?"

"... I don't know about the rest, I doubt they will agree though. Even I am surprised that I accepted your offer, nevertheless by tomorrow evening I will be considered a traitor so I hope we'll be far away by then." -Rob Lucci

"Honestly i didn't expect any of you to join me. We will depart tomorrow morning. Be sure to be on the ship when we leave. I'm curious what made you change your mind, last time you didn't we met you didn't seem so eager, blabbering about Justice and all that."

"What you said was true... about justice, the World Government doesn't represent it. Honestly I knew this for a long time, being a Cipher Pol agent I witnessed first hand the atrocities made in the name of justice, but that were nothing more than the whims of the Celestial Dragons. Thousands of lives lost just for their amusement. I am even guilty of some myself. I don't feel remorse, I probably wouldn't have done nothing about it and I would've just gone ahead and followed their orders. Even now I am tempted to just turn away and report you. But... I also know that it doesn't really matter, if I join you... if I stay... the result will probably be the same... Celestial Dragons win. Therefore if the result doesn't change, then my actions don't matter." -Rob Lucci.

[Nihilism at its finest.]

{Authors notes:}

{Yes, I know that in the original work this wouldn't have been enough to shake Rob Lucci into joining a pirate group.

I hope you liked the chapter. Also, if you like the story so far help me out with some POWER STONES.}
