16 Enel and Fruit

"Hahaha hahahaha... the audacity... you want me a God to join you? a mere mortal? Hahahahaha!!!" -Enel

As soon as he said that he lifted his arm and shot a bolt of lightning towards me, I expected this to happen and turned my body into sand, I have slowly gotten used to high temperature thanks to my training so the bolt did nothing.

"Hmmm... seems like you lot are a bit more interesting than I first thought." -Enel

[If I am to kill Enel I need to take him down in one attack. If he discoverers that I can touch his body he will keep a distance from us making it much harder for us to deal with him, even impossible since he can just summon a lightning so big he could destroy this entire area, like he did in the original work.]

[But his biggest weakness is his pride and his sadistic nature, when someone tries to hit him he let's them just to see their shocked faces once the attack does nothing.

Originally I wanted to shatter his Will like Luffy did to the original Crocodile but I now realize that it was idiotic of me to think I can make him join me.]

I sprouted wings of sand from my back and flew towards him, when I reached his side I made a normal attack at his neck as a distraction, no one was surprised when it passed right through without leaving any damage.

"Do you puny mortals understand now, you can't hit me for I am God." -Enel

However the smile on his face didn't last long as black sand suddenly pierced his body from below, he tried to escape using his devil fruit.... it was futile.

"What did you do to me... *Cough* *Cough* Why can't I use my powers?" Enel said as he spat blood.

Normally haki can't stop a devil fruit user from activating one's devil fruit, haki only let's you touch a Logia type devil fruit user. So why was I able to turn off his powers?

To answer this question one must first understand what sand is. Rocks erode or weather over a long period of time, mainly by water and wind, and their sediments are transported downstream. These sediments continue to break apart into smaller pieces until they become fine grains of sand. The type of rock the sediment originated from and the intensity of the environment give different compositions of sand.

Different types of rocks produce different types of sand. This is also the reason I asked for one of my additional storage room on the ship to be filled with seastone. Since I can touch it now, I turned it into sand and I absorbed it inside my body. This sand can not only touch logia type devil fruit users without haki imbued into it but it can also completely shut down their abilities and weaken them like seastone.

As Enel gave his last breath I sent a streak of my new sand and cut his head off, to speed up the process.

After that we made our way towards where Enel and the gods before him lived. There we found a long table with many kinds of fruits and wouldn't you know it the goro goro no mi was there. I guess this is how the devil fruit was kept on Skypiea for so long, every time someone ate it and died it would reappear here.

I, of course, took it and then we headed back to Angel Island. There we met again with Gan Fall who apparently saw what we did, he tried to take back the goro goro no mi but seeing that he wouldn't succeed he let us be. He probably understood that if he started a war with us we wouldn't have any problem with killing all the inhabitants of Skypiea, and he would be right in thinking that.

[Timeskip: two weeks]

Nothing worth mentioning happened, we gathered again and went to see the gold city. There Robin discovered the Poneglyph with Roger's writing on it. Roger had the incredible ability to hear the voice of all things, an ability that allowed him to hear the voice of Poneglyphs which in turn allowed him to reach Raftel.

I may not have the voice of all things but I plan to aquire it, until then I have Robin.

In this two weeks we made another addition to the crew, a small, white cloud fox adopted by Robin, I didn't opposed it since I like petting it.

We, being pirates and all stole a few pilers of gold from this city. We also met Nola the giant snake, at first I wanted to take it with me and make it my pet but I soon realized that not only do I not have the space on my ship but also tha fact that I am not Luffy and I can't nakama everyone and everything, the snake probably wouldn't even listen to me, so I sadly let it go. Even in my past life I really liked snakes, I will definitely have one in this life.

The old man, Pagaya also finished making the jetski's. I also gave him some blueprints on a moder revolver, atleast what I could remember about how it works but I was quickly shut down saying that he doesn't like making weapons. I'll have to find a blacksmith in Arabasta to build it, this gun is for Nami until she gets better with haki or she eats a devil fruit. Speaking of her I don't know when but she apparently picked up the way of the spear. Can't say I'm to surprised since in the original work she wielded a somewhat similar weapon.

But by far, the most surprised was when I found out (Through my observation haki, I can cover almost a island or a small island with it) that Rob Lucci and Conis who was nineteen so I guess it's okay, were doing the deed.

[I'm still not sure about what devil fruit would suit Nami the best, should I give her the Goro Goro no mi, it brings immense fire power to the table or maybe a Zoan-type since it improves the users constitution... what to do...]

And so after all that we found ourselves in our blue ocean, in the waters surrounding Jaya, sailing towards our temporary home, Arabasta.
