058: Kaido with the strongest form of human and beast, Bai Ye: "It's time to end this battle!"

Suddenly, Kaido's immense green dragon form plummeted from the sky. The black shadow cloaking the sky seemed to engulf it entirely. Kaido hurtled onto an island like a meteor, slamming into its surface. The tremendous force shattered the earth within a five to six hundred meter radius. Gravel and dust flew high as the shockwaves, visible to the naked eye, continued to radiate in expanding circles. With thick dust and smoke everywhere, the whole island trembled uncontrollably, as if it would be torn apart in the next second. The impact of Kaido's massive body falling was indeed a frightening sight.

Amidst the settling dust and smoke, a fierce roar bellowed from the center of the dust cloud. In moments, all dust and gravel were obliterated, and the nearby earth's surface blasted apart to reveal the bare ground beneath. Kaido's fearsome dragon head emerged once more, but this time, with stark differences. There were large, terrible burns scarring the upper part of the dragon's body and the Kakuzu on Kaido's head was half broken with blood dripping down. The wounds appeared severe.

To an ordinary person, such injuries would be fatal, but Kaido was different. As the strongest creature ruling over "Sea, Land and Air," and having consumed the Devil Fruit with unmatched regeneration capabilities, these 'extremely serious' injuries were not life-threatening for him. Yet at that moment, Kaido stared in disbelief at the figure of Bai Ye. He had actually lost in a 'head-on collision'? Such a defeat, achieved with a desperate act and relying on pure physical collision, was unexpected. After consuming the green dragon fruit, Kaido had thought no one in the world could surpass him in physical strength.

"What is this joke?" he thought. As a Pirate Emperor of this era, his adversary was merely a relic of the old era, one that should have been left behind just like Whitebeard, whose physical strength had surely waned after successive battles. And yet, such an opponent was who he faced! With his true strength, Kaido was adamant that today, the man before him was destined to fall.

Kaido's eyes blazed with a mix of murderous intent and combativeness as he roared towards the heavens, "I will definitely kill you! Kill you!"

A fierce hurricane began churning beneath the form of Kaido's blue dragon, followed by a sudden onslaught of purple lightning from the cloudy sky above. Inside this maelstrom, Kaido's body underwent a visible transformation, his flesh and blood surging and contracting. Despite the chaos, the powerful aura Kaido exuded did not wane but grew even stronger.

As the hurricane and lightning subsided, they revealed Kaido, 7.1 meters tall, gripping the mace "Eight Fasts" and entering his most potent human and beast form in the center of the enormous pit, which had already plunged hundreds of meters deep.

In the next instant, Kaido's pent-up energy burst forth, further expanding the already vast crater's range.

The entire island quaked under the force of Kaido's explosive breath, trembling without pause. In this moment of chaos, Kaido, transformed into his most formidable human-beast form, fixed his gaze on Bai Ye and unleashed a fearsome roar, "Watch out!" A surge of pitch-black Armament Haki enveloped Kaido's arm, extending to his weapon's eight trigrams. Kaido let out a growl and vanished from sight, leaving a crater where he had stood. His mace, enshrouded in Haki, sparked with purple lightning as he launched an incredibly swift attack towards Bai Ye, declaring, "Thunder... Eight Trigrams!" The air distorted with the force of his charge, and he closed the vast distance to Bai Ye almost instantaneously, intending to strike with full force.

"Good job! Let me see the strength of the so-called Four Emperors!" Bai Ye exclaimed. Flames transformed his Reiatsu, engulfing his entire body as his eyes glinted with intensity. A deafening boom echoed as the two clashed once more, heat, dark clouds, and lightning colliding in the sky. 

"Your flame is quite peculiar, but I don't need to touch it to win! I refuse to believe your physical strength is limitless! Oooohoo!" Kaido, now in a frenzy, leaped into the air, his arm muscles bulging and veins popping as he brandished his weapon and ripped through the air, sending a powerful blast towards Bai Ye with a cry of "Diamond Dysprosium!"

Kaido's eyes narrowed and his Conqueror's Haki erupted, seemingly capable of breaking the very void. Gripping his Eight Trigrams mace tightly, he combined Conqueror's Haki with the purple lightning storming from the sky and unleashed it violently toward Bai Ye. "Watch out!!!" The air boomed, space itself twisting in the wake of Kaido's power.

Bai Ye remained unmoved, his gaze piercing as he responded to Kaido's madness with unwavering indifference, "I said, this will be the last scene of this world you'll see before you're buried!" Ryūjin Jakka shattered the incoming attack, releasing a high temperature that boiled the sea. Kaido continued his assault, but the searing heat ignited everything around Bai Ye, causing a bright, fiery light to explode under Kaido's wide-eyed shock.

Indeed, Bai Ye's physical strength, as Kaido suspected, was not endless. The battles had taken their toll, depleting some of his stamina. Yet, the remaining strength was more than enough to defeat Kaido. Bai Ye was actually biding his time, pondering, 

"It seems that the World Government should have no other means to eliminate me this time." As the intense flames forced Kaido back, Bai Ye surveyed the battlefield, still affecting the wider world. He considered the "absolute power" that "Kong" of the World Government had alluded to. 

If such power existed, action would have already been taken given the current commotion. It appeared there were no more cards to play. Holding Ryūjin Jakka in front of him with one hand, Bai Ye watched from afar as Kaido, frantic and ready for more powerful moves, continued to fight. The time to end this battle had come, with the ferocity of hell itself.
