72 Chapter 72: Redacted

Kai took a long drag. 'Well MAYBE just a little. But only a tiny bit, I swear.'

He thought as he kept his mouth shut and let Garp continue talking. "That Red Haired brat is one of the four strongest pirates in the world. He is one of the four emperors who are called the Yonko. He is up there along with Whitebeard. Who is Ace's captain."

The whole crew had their mind blown with this news, even Robin did, but for a different reason. She leaned in and whispered to Kai. "Ace's captain is Whitebeard?" Kai nodded and laughed. "He's actually the commander of the second division. Remember when I said you wouldn't believe who his dads are? Wahahaha!"

Robin giggled. "That really is amazing. Does that mean that his other dad is Garp? That is a really monstrous duo of fathers to have." Kai smiled to himself. "Wahahaha! No Garp's more like his grandfather, his other dad is someone else." Robin hummed in curiosity. "Not gonna tell me?" Kai smiled before saying. "No spoilers. You'll learn about it soon enough."

While Kai and Robin were talking the crew had finally digested the information about Shanks and Ace. Luffy nodded in understanding. "I see. I don't get anything at all. But I'm glad Shanks is doing well. I bet he eats lots of meat." Kai knew how to handle Luffy and his stupidity. "You're right Luffy! He's so strong he eats anything he wants!!" Luffy had stars in his eyes. "Cool! Maybe I should be a Yonko too!!"

Kai left Luffy to his delusions of eating endless meat as a Yonko. He turned back to Garp. "Hey old man, you forgot to mention the old hag and that fish." Garp scratched his head. "Oh yea, they're Yonko's too." He said and the crew looked at him expectantly, awaiting an explanation on the other two Yonko.

A few minutes passed and Nami asked. "That's it? What about the other two Yonko? You didn't even tell us their names!" Kai and Garp looked at Nami confused. Garp said. "He just did." Kai nodded in agreement. "One's a Hag and one's a fish. That's about it." Garp and Kai nodded in sync as if there was nothing else about the two Yonkos that the crew should know.

Luffy cut in and asked. "A fish? Food? Can I eat it?" Kai chuckled and said. "I don't think you wanna eat that fish, kiddo." Garp laughed at the thought. "Bwahahaha! Eating Kaido! Hahahaha!"

Usopp yelled out in a rare moment of bravery. "So the fish is called Kaido!!" Kai looked over at him and slowly clapped. "Congrats. You win a prize!" Usopp jumped in joy. "Really? What's the prize?" Kai smiled evilly. "The fist of love!" He said as he chased Usopp around the room with his fist in a ball over his head. Usopp started running away crying. "No! I don't need a prize! Stop!"

"Bwahahaha!! The brat's learning! I'm such a great teacher!" Garp said, causing Luffy to shudder at the thought of Kai starting to act like Garp. At this point Sanji decided to speak up and ask Garp a question. "Hey old man. How did you punch Luffy and Fujin like that? They have devil fruits so punches don't work on them."

Garp looked at Kai. "You didn't tell them?" Kai shook his head. "What am I a babysitter? Why should I teach them haki? Besides, they aren't even strong enough for busoshoku yet." Garp nodded and Sanji asked. "What's haki?" Kai sighed and explained.

"There are two types of haki, kenbunshoku and busoshoku. Well their is a third type but it's a lot more rare. It's called haoshoku. Basically kenbunshoku helps you observe things around you. Busoshoku helps you harden yourself and allows you to hit people with devil fruits, even logia. Then haoshoku is about your will to achieve your goals and you can knock out people who have weak haki/a weak spirit."

The crew still kinda looked confused. Kai sighed and held up his hand. "Watch." He said as he turn his fist black. "This is busoshoku. See how my hand turned black? Cool right? Now watch this." Kai said as he punched Sanji in the chest and sent him flying. "See how much that hurts love cook? That's because of busoshoku."

Sanji got up and kicked at Kai. Only for Kai to easily dodge with no effort as Sanji continued to send kick after kick. As he was still dodging. "This is kenbunshoku. See how easy it is to dodge. That's what kenbunshoku does. And that's your explanation, you guys will learn more later, that's all you need to know for now."

Kai caught Sanji's foot with his haki infused hand. "Alright Sanji, the demo is over. You can stop kicking me now." Sanji felt his eyebrow twitch as he tried to kick Kai again. "You just punched me out of nowhere!" Sanji yelled out and Kai tilted his head. "So? It was an explanation. You need to chill out bucko."

"Bwahahaha! Good job kid! I couldn't have explained it better myself!" Garp laughed and said seriously. Even though Kai gave a terrible and half assed explanation. The crew was still very confused about what haki was, they also couldn't see Kai's hand turn black because only people with haki can see haki...

Anyway!

Before anyone could ask anymore questions a loud crashing sound was heard from outside.

Suddenly Zoro crashed into the building through the door. "Guys! There's marines here!" He called out.

"What? No way! I've gotta get the fuck outta here then!!" Kai screamed as he panicked over the presence of marines.

A fist landed on his head when he said this.

"You brat!! You're a marine!" Garp yelled out. "I'm not gonna let another one of you become a pirate! 2/4 is already bad enough!"

Kai started rubbing the newly formed bump on his head.

He grit his teeth. "That's it! You damn old man! I'm really gonna kick your ass!" He yelled as he charged at Garp.

Luffy saw this and his face portrayed a look of panic. "NOO!! Don't do it! You'll die Fujin!" He screamed out genuinely scared Garp might kill Kai.

Kai ignored Luffy and met with Garp's fist starting a dust brawl between the two. The two fought each other lightly and after a few minutes three people emerged from the scuffle. Zoro was the first to walk out, he was beaten so bad you could hardly recognize him if it wasn't for his green hair.

Zoro cursed. "Damn, those two are strong, who even is that old man? His punches hurt like hell. I need to train."

Chopper went to tend to Zoro's injuries and Kai and Garp finally finished the dust brawl. Kai emerged with bumps all over his head and a bunch of scratches all over, Garp only had a couple of scratches and one big bump on the top of his head.

Luffy and Sanji looked shocked. Sanji sucked in a breath of cold air.

"He hurt Fujin? In a dust brawl! What a scary old man!" Sanji said as he recalled all the other dust brawls Kai had been in where he always came out unschathed.

"Bwhahahaha! You're a hundred years away from being able to face me, brat!" Garp called out triumphantly with a proud smile.

Kai grumbled under his breath. "As if you'll even live another 100 years, damn abusive old man."

Garp's eyebrow twitched. He prepared to attack Kai with his full strength, he wound up, covered his fist in advanced haki and got ready to release a punch.

"ZZZ!" Garp snored.

He fell asleep!! Again! What a guy!

Kai noticed this and let out a breath of relief. He stopped preparing to defend against the incoming attack.

"Damn old man, he was really gonna destroy this town if he didn't fall asleep." Kai said as he shook his head.

The rest of the crew heard Kai and looked nervously over at Luffy to confirm if that was true. Luffy started nodding vigorously.

"He would! One time he dropped me in a forest on a small island and then destroyed it with one punch when a tiger pissed him off. He just laughed and left me in the ocean to swim back to another island, but I can't swim!! If it wasn't for my friend Kai I would have drowned." Luffy said as he recalled his past memories of abuse *ahem* Err… tough love from Garp.

Kai smiled when he heard Luffy's story and the crew shivered in fear. They all were thinking about how scary Luffy's grandpa was. They looked towards the sleeping old man with a newfound fear inside them. Kai was just remembering back to when Garp beat him after he saved Luffy. Garp started yelling about Kai not trusting him to save his own grandson. It was one of the first great memories he had with Garp. Although Garp was harsh, he cared about Luffy, Ace, Sabo and Kai more than anything else in the world.

Garp finally woke up. "What was I doing?" He asked as he started rubbing his head in confusion and went into deep thought.

After a few minutes he clearly had an epiphany as he jumped up and shouted. "Eurika!!"

The crew started to get scared Garp was gonna destroy the whole town and got ready to run.

Garp looked at the crew and said. "I don't remember!"

The whole crew face palmed, other than Robin.

Robin laughed. "Nishishishi! He's just like Luffy."

Zoro raised an eyebrow when he heard this. He thought back to something Kai had told him in the past.

He looked over to Robin and whispered to her. "Since when did you call us by name?"

Robin smiled playfully. "What do you mean moss-san?"

Zoro had a tick mark appear on his head before he just sighed and shook his head.

He walked away from Robin muttering. "Damn devil."

Robin smiled once she heard this. She started to think about how much she was starting to like being on this crew when she was interrupted by something.

Garp punched his own palm and accidentally created a shockwave that destroyed another part of the wall.

Garp turned towards Luffy and said. "Bwahahaha! That's right! Luffy I heard that you met your Father back in Loguetown!"

The entire crew looked at Garp strangely, they didn't remember meeting anyone who could be Luffy's dad. However, the one who was most confused was Luffy. Luffy seriously pondered something for a long time. Garp thought he was thinking back to his conversation with Dragon or something along those lines.

Luffy finally spoke up and asked. "I have a dad?"

"WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! He fuckin said it! HAHAHAHAHA!" Kai started rolling on the floor as he laughed.

As Kai was laughing at Luffy two more people joined in.

"Bwahaha!/Nishishishi!" Robin and Garp joined in on laughing at Luffy.

Eventually the two calmed down enough to talk normally but Kai was still on the floor laughing. He just couldn't control himself. Even after he taught Luffy about sex and everything this idiot would never change. Kai couldn't wait to rub this in Dragon's face next time he met him.

Luffy looked towards Kai on the floor laughing. "What's so funny?"

This only caused Kai to laugh even harder.

Finally Garp said. "Bwahahaha! I guess you two didn't meet then. Maybe he got shy. Hahaha!"

Robin giggled. "Tsun-tsun~." She said as she recalled something Kai had taught her.

When Kai heard Robin he started laughing even harder. Everyone else looked at Robin confused as they didn't know what she was talking about. Robin was looking at Kai laughing on the ground with a smile on her face. At least he understood her joke. Robin finally looked up and saw the crew's confused faces.

She laughed. "Fufufufu. Nevermind… More importantly, who is our captain's father?" Robin asked Garp while brushing off the rest of the crew's questioning looks.

Garp replied. "Monkey D. Dragon. He's my son and Luffy's father."

Everyone had their mouths hit the floor. They were speechless at this new revelation.

Luffy was also stunned, only for a different reason. "Who's that? Wait, does that mean I also have a mom?"

Kai had just recovered his breath and lost it again as he started laughing once more when he heard Luffy ask if he had a mom. Garp heard Luffy and nodded like a wise old monk.

"Yes, you do." Garp said wisely as if imparting the knowledge of a thousand people unto one.

Luffy smiled. "Woah cool! I have two new family members!"

Sanji had recovered from his daze. He had two things he wanted to say, he looked at two people before seeing one still rolling on the ground laughing. He decided to talk to the other first.

"Luffy, you have always had two parents. That's how this works. They didn't just appear now that you know about them." Sanji tried to actually teach Luffy some common sense.

Luffy tilted his head sideways and said. "I don't get it."

Sanji sighed and let out a puff of smoke. "Nevermind. Anyway, you asked about your dad earlier. He is the leader of the revolutionary army. The most dangerous criminal in the world. He also has a bounty of ${*Redacted*} and is the biggest enemy of the world government."

Luffy's mouth opened wide in shock. "WHATTT? His bounty is ${*Redacted*}, that's huge!"

At this point Kai had recovered enough to speak again. He picked his ears and asked. "What did you guys say his bounty was again?"

Sanji turned to Kai with a weird look on his face. "Like I just said, it's ${*Redacted*} belli."

Kai looked around confused. He couldn't hear what Sanji said. He had no clue what Dragon's bounty was! He was really curious as they never said it in the manga. He looked around again.

Kai asked Luffy. "What was the bounty, I didn't hear Sanji."

Luffy answered without question. "It's ${*Redacted*} belli."

Kai's face contorted into horror. It was being censored!! But only for him! Kai cursed god. 'Why? I'm already here! Why won't you let me learn what that old tsundere's bounty is?!?! I just want to know if it's bigger than Roger's!' Kai started moping around in a depressive state. The gods must have been laughing at his misfortune right now.
