7 I can fly

*Swipe*

Ace smoothly bent down, Alvida swung her slippery mace right over his head.

Her eyes had gone white but she kept swinging her mace over and over, trying to hit Ace with her slippery mace.

"You know, just because I refuse to dodge doesn't mean I can't dodge."

Ace commented leisurely with his hands in his pocket, he was dodging Alvida with utmost ease, and he was doing it while putting down everyone trying to attack him.

*Bang*

"There goes another one."

Ace kicked a berserk pirate while he was jumping over Alvida's mace attack.

He was taking out everyone, left and right while fighting against Alvida at the same time.

*Swish*

"Firefist."

"Tch, fire keeps slipping past your body."

Ace muttered while jumping over Alvida, and kicking one of the cat brothers in the face. Knocking him out in one shot.

"This won't do, I will finish everyone else then I'll come back to you."

Ace told the berserk Alvida then he went on a full rampage. People were knocked over like bowling pins everywhere.

After giving Jango a particularly nice beating, Ace was finished with his rampage.

Bodies were lying everywhere, important places were on fire, only Alvida remained standing.

"Now I can focus on you. If I had haki defeting you would be easy."

Ace muttered under his breath, Alvida didn't hear him and ran forward, Ace clenched his fist and punched.

*Slip*

His fist slipped past her skin once more, but Ace had expected that, he didn't give her time and got behind her.

"Firestorm"

Ace blasted the entire area with fire, he was hoping the fire would affect her if she doesn't see it coming.

*Slip*

But no luck, the fire still slipped past her body, it seems looking at the fire wasn't necessary to make it slip.

"She has her slipping powers active constantly, I can't burn her."

"Then how about this, what would you do if I cut off your oxygen supply."

Ace smirked and brought two of his palms before Alvida's face.

*Fooos*

Then he lit his hands on fire, intense fire was swiftly consuming all the oxygen around Alvida's nose.

Not only that, with each breath Alvida was breathing super hot CO2 into her lungs.

"Ack"

It took six seconds max before Alvida started choking. Ace held on while maintaining his fire burst.

He kept going, ignoring her flailing for three more seconds, that was enough to cut off her oxygen completely.

*Boom*

Alvida hit the ground, knocked out cold from a lack of oxygen in her brain.

"That's the last one. There aren't many ways to defeat such a Paramecia without going for the kill."

"Her slippery powers are too good, fighting her is like trying to defeat luffy with blunt attacks."

"No matter how much you hit him, it won't work unless you use haki."

Ace scratched his hair, haki was on his agenda but he didn't care about it that much.

He had fire powers, there wasn't anything he couldn't do with fire powers. He just had to get creative.

"Now what, everyone is down and everything is one fire."

Ace wondered, before shrugging and going into the enemy kitchen. He was hungry after this workout. 

It took half an hour before someone woke up, it was Jango who regained his senses first.

He was looking at everything is a daze, remembering how Ace had decimated their group.

*Crunch*

"How about it? Wanna tell me about Kuro now?"

Jango looked behind him, Ace was sitting on top of a pile of bodies, while munching apples. 

Jango twitched his lips, he had lost and now it was time to fulfill his promise.

"Sigh, captain Kuro is hiding in Syrup village. If you want to contact him I have his phone bug number."

Jango took out a phone bug from his pocket, Ace squinted a bit before smirking.

"No need to contact him, I will send Alvida to Syrup village."

"She will bring Kuro to me, she is more than enough to defeat that guy. Nothing he has can hurt Alvida."

Ace waved his hand, he was checking if Jango tells him the truth. And Jango didn't lie to him.

Which means Jango was trustworthy, Ace had decided to add him into his crew.

"Jango, wanna join my crew? Your captain Kuro will join me sooner or later, you might as well join us directly."

"I am building an emperor fleet, you can join first, maybe you will get a good position."

Ace grinned, he was going for an emperor crew right from the get go. But Jango was weak, he would mostly be a bottom tier member.

A good comparison would be the centaur girl Speed of the beast pirates, Ace had such low expectations from Jango.

But hypnosis was a good tool to have, Ace didn't want to let it go.

"Can I join..? I guess I will, I got nothing better."

Jango smiled and agreed to join, Ace clapped and stood up, sliding down from the pile of bodies.

"Good choice, take your men and repair your ship. Then let Alvida know I told her to get Kuro."

"Alvida will take a long time to wake up, I am not waiting for her. We will meet again at Syrup village."

Ace decided his crew's next action, as for him, he had other plans in his agenda. 

He was going to look for a particular island, there were a lot of good things on that Island, and Ace wanted them all for himself.

"Oh and another thing, when I return our ship's should be as good as new."

"I was using Alvida's ship as my main ship until now, but it's all all pink ship, change that will ya."

Ace waved Jango goodbye and jumped off the ship, directly into the ocean.

Jango was startled, by now he knew Ace was a devil fruit user, and devil fruits were weak to water.

"Captain you can't swim-"

Jango's words were caught in his throat, what he saw popped his eyes out of his skull.

Ace was flying, not floating, not pushing himself like a rocket, but legitimately flying. 

"Why are you so surprised? Ever noticed how fire always goes up? It's the same principle."

"I am essentially a bunch of super hot air, flying is a basic ability of fire."

Ace grinned then waved Jango goodbye, he didn't look back and blasted off towards north.

He had already seen the map, the island he wanted to vist was in that direction. He will get to that place before both blackbeard and luffy.
