186 Chapter 186

A couple of hours have already passed, and Onigashima has been attacked. King and Queen have stayed back to fight Sanji, Chopper, and the Nine Scabbards. And out of nowhere, Marco the Phoenix has suddenly joined in to fight against them.

Jack had joined Kaido somewhere else to help him fight the 5 Worst Generation, but he got stopped by Inuarashi and Nekomamushi. Kaido and the Worst Generation made their way over somewhere far away from the other fights. Their fight has been well underway, but it quickly became apparent who would come out victorious.

"Ashura Bakkei: Moja no Tawamure!" screamed Zoro as he suddenly grew two more heads, 4 more arms, and 6 more swords. He ran towards Kaido at an incredible speed and passed by him in an instant.

But instead of Kaido getting injured, Zoro coughed up blood and fell onto one knee. His Ashura form disappeared, and he looked to be in pain.

"ZORO!" screamed Luffy. Kid, Law, and Killer looked shocked at how Zoro's incredibly strong attack didn't work. Kaido in his hybrid form turned around to look at Zoro, who failed to cut him down. He held his weapon above his head and immediately swung it down at Zoro. Luffy and the other three tried to run to his aid, but they weren't able to make it in time.

"Ice Age."

In an instant, the giant Kaido got frozen into an iceberg, completely stopping his movement and temporarily saving Zoro. Someone suddenly appeared beside Zoro and grabbed him, taking him to Luffy and the rest. However, the iceberg got destroyed just as fast as it was created.

"This looks troublesome, Kuzan."

"Sure does, Laffitte."

"Thank you, Laffitte; you saved me."

"Don't mention it."

"So it was true, you idiots really dared to come to me. Where is your Captain?"

"We don't know. He said that he needed to do something and disappeared. I guess he's probably buying some flowers to put on your grave," said Kuzan.

"If that's the case, then I'll just kill all of you, and then he will have no choice but to come here." Kaido started slowly walking to them. He let out Haoshoku Haki with every step he took, pressuring them little by little.

"Say, why are you guys the only ones injured? From the intel I got 2 years ago, he shouldn't be that overwhelmingly strong," said Laffitte

"It's because he is a monster. None of our attacks have managed to do any significant damage, but every one of his attacks that hit us almost kills us on the spot. I expected him to be strong, but this is completely beyond my expectations," said Law.

"Well, Captain is strong enough to defeat our entire crew singlehandedly, so if the worst comes to the worst, I'm sure that Captain would help out," said Laffitte.

"I don't want his help. After all, he is my next target," said Kid.

Laffitte gave him a nasty glare but quickly looked back at Kaido, who suddenly sprinted towards them.

"Triple Ice Wall!" Kuzan quickly erected three giant Ice walls in front of them, but that didn't seem to do anything as a fist went right through them and almost hit him in the face if Laffitte hadn't redirected the fist with a kick.

'I guess I understand more clearly why these guys are in such a bad shape. This definitely wasn't the strength Kaido showed 2 years ago at Marineford. Time for a tactical retreat… is what I would say if Robert actually picked up his Den Den Mushi. I guess I have no choice but to hold him back till they make it to a safe place,' thought Laffitte.

Kaido ran through the ice walls, and Laffitte immediately went on the attack. He kicked towards Kaido's head, forcing him to block. He immediately sent more kicks at Kaido, which started to slowly push him back.

"Kuzan, take them away from here. I'll stall Kaido."

"Don't even think about it! I promised that I'll defeat Kaido, and I won't leave here till I do!" screamed Luffy. "Gear Fourth Bound-Man!" Luffy expanded, and red Haki covered his body.

"I'm not going anywhere either!" screamed Kid as he used the metal scattered all over the place to get ready to attack. Zoro, Killer, and Law also didn't seem like they were about to back off.

"You heard the kids, Laffitte."

"Sigh, it seems like today won't be the day for being smart. Please back me up then." Laffitte jumped back, and Kuzan put his arm in the air.

"Ice Spike Storm."

Thousands of ice spikes started materializing in the air. Kuzan swung his arm down, and all of them immediately rained down on Kaido. Once the storm of ice spikes was over, Kid, Killer, Zoro, Luffy, and Laffitte immediately attacked him. They hit him all over his body, making his blood fly through the air, but he didn't move an inch from his original spot."

"Injection Shot!" Law followed up and stabbed Kaido in the chest, making him bleed and even sending him flying back.

"Ice Domain." The area around them completely turned into a frozen wasteland that spanned for multiple kilometers. "Ice Pillars." 5 giant ice pillars suddenly came out of the ground and surrounded Kaido. "Ice Capture." Ice weaved itself between the pillars turning it into a cage that doesn't leave an escape route from any angle.

Kuzan quickly touched one of the pillars, and the whole cage suddenly turned black because of his Haki. Laffitte also quickly touched another pillar and infused it with his Haki. Their Haki's mended together and reinforced the ice cage.

"Raimei Hakke!" Kaido swung his club at the giant cage. However, his attack got completely blocked.

"It's no use, Kaido. No matter how hard you try, it will be impossible to get out of this one. Even Sabo, Ace, and Deuce couldn't get through it while working together."

"I thought that he would have better subordinates. Haoshoku Haki, Raimei Hakke!" Kaido swung his club again, but this time at the pillar Kuzan was touching, and he infused his club with Haoshoku Haki. The moment his club hit the pillar, Kuzan suddenly felt an enormous pressure go through his body, and before he knew it, he had already instinctively let go of the pillar.

Kaido immediately attacked a second time, and this time he managed to break the pillar even though Laffitte's Haki was reinforcing it.

"Look out, Kuzan!" screamed Zoro!" But it was already too late. Kaido had broken out of the cage and smashed his fist into Kuzan's face. His face got smashed into the ground so hard that it completely destroyed the giant cage and all the ground around it. Kaido immediately tried to punch him again, but Law used Room and Shambles and got Kuzan out of there before he could get punched again.

"Cough, cough, that punch really hurt," said Kuzan as blood leaked out of the side of his mouth.

"What were you even trying to do by putting him in a cage? How the hell are we supposed to attack him while he is in there?" asked Kid.

"I wanted to give us some time to come up with a plan since clearly, we don't have any."

"Tsk, how the heck are we supposed to think of a plan against this guy."

"I have a plan!" said Luffy. Everyone looked at him but then immediately ignored him. "Ey! It's a really good plan, I promise. We just have to hit him so many times that he won't stand up again!"

"Bolo Breath!" Kaido sent out a giant breath attack towards Luffy, probably to try and eliminate his stupidity.

"BOOOOM!!!"

The breath attack created a giant explosion, taking out the entire area where the 7 of them were just standing.

'I don't have time to play around with these wastes. Just come here already, and let's fight the most epic battle to the death!'
