Display of Power

*CRACK*

A pirate ship suddenly crashed into The Thousand Sunny causing the crew members to be unbalanced and adding a huge risk to the bubble popping. On the unknown pirate ship, numerous pirates were standing on the edge ready to jump.

"Crap! They're going to come through the bubble!" Nami exclaimed in worry.

"Who are they?!" Luffy questioned. However, none of the crew members knew the answer to that.

"Sanji! Quickly move us out of the way!" Franky yelled.

"I'm already on it!" Sanji replied as he quickly spun the steering wheel.

The ship luckily moved out of the way just in time before the bubble could pop. However, the enemy ship was persistent. They made contact with the Thousand Sunny once again and opened up the bubble.

"Ahaha! We are Sea Cow! Let's take everything and kill them while they're dumbfounded!" a pirate with a baggy shirt said.

"Hah?! Take what and kill who?" Imai questioned, her eyes looking down onto the unknown pirate from above.

The enemy pirate looked up and felt chills down his spine. It was as if he was facing a black mamba ready to attack while he was just a mere mouse. The difference could be seen.

"I-I was just joking! It was a play of words!" the pirate said in fear. "I'm not really here to take anything or kill anyone! I was forced to be here. I swear!"

"How pathetic, giving up before the fight even started." Imai muttered.

From below the ship, Nico took a glance at Imai, and smiled. Secretly, she admired Imai because she was such a powerful person at a young age, as well as saving her in the past. But Nico doubted Imai remembered the incident.

"Oi, Nami. The direction we're heading to is slightly off from where the Log Pose is pointing to." Usopp said.

"That's fine." Imai said before Nami could reply. "We're trying to avoid sea currents or volcanoes anyway."

"Ha?! There's volcanoes down here?!" Usopp exclaimed worriedly.

Imai sighed and looked at Nami. "There's your queue, explain."

Nami gave a quick explanation of all the possible sea dangers down here. Each one seemed to make Chopper and Usopp's expressions worse and worse. It was an amusing sight to see for Imai.

"Also, be careful not to enter a deep current. It takes almost two thousand years to get to the surface from there." Imai said, causing worried expressions around the ship. "But there's no need to worry about that. We've made it to the downward flow, plume."

All the crew members excitedly moved to the other area of the ship to look at the marvelous view. The current carried their ship and many colorful fishes. It was a sight for the eyes.

"You have quite a lot of knowledge about the sea." Nico said as she walked towards Imai.

"Well, I have been traveling across the Grand Line and the New World for a long time. Of course my knowledge is vast." Imai replied.

Nico giggled causing Imai to raise an eyebrow.

"Why aren't you with the others? The view isn't enough for you?"

"Nope, I just thought that you looked pretty lonely here by yourself."

Imai laughed. "Lonely? I've spent three years alone, this doesn't affect me at all."

Suddenly, there was a loud scream from the deck.

"Monster! There's a monster down there! Why don't we turn back now?!" Caribou said.

"Monster?" Imai mumbled as she looked below. There it was, two eyes staring directly at her with its tentacles moving around. "Oh, it's just a giant octopus."

"Just a giant octopus?! That thing can snap us in half and kill us all!" Usopp screamed in fear.

"Brother! We're here to save you!" a voice was heard from afar. In the distance, a ship was heading towards them.

However, just a few seconds later, they would meet their end due to the octopus snapping the ship in half.

This only made Usopp more scared.

"Ahh! We're dead!"

"I want that as a pet." Luffy said as Zoro followed along. "I'll help you in any way, I'll cut it for you."

Imai smiled at the two, she was glad that there were fearless members in the crew. After all, that's what it takes to make it to the New World.

"I have an idea." Caribou said.

Soon enough, Imai, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji were covered in a bubble layer.

"There we go! The extra-vehicular diving suit!"

With that being said, the four walked out of the bubble into the sea. Surprisingly, they were able to move freely under the pressure.

"So? How are we supposed to tame that thing?" Zoro asked.

"I don't know." Luffy replied.

"We don't tame it at all, that thing is an enemy of humanity." Imai said. "I'll damage it enough for the three of you to capture it."

And without warning, Imai readied her blade.

"Hundred Sovereign's Cleaving!"

For a moment, nothing happened. Right as Zoro was about to call Imai out, streaks of purple lightning signifying the use of Haki appeared around the tentacles of the octopus.

Suddenly, they were hit by a huge force. The movement Imai executed with such little time caused a huge force to blast them back.

Zoro's eyes widened, he couldn't even see Imai's movement. But there was definitely something since each tentacle of the octopus was cut into hundreds if not thousands of different pieces.

"You're joking right?…" Zoro muttered in shock.

Everyone on the ship was in awe at Imai's display of power. Their jaws were so wide they were almost hitting the ground, except for Brook of course. His jaws dropped, literally.

However, there was something else they needed to worry about. Due to the large force caused by Imai's powerful strike, a small current was formed pulling Zoro, Sanji, and Luffy under. Imai made it back on the ship due to her own force repelling her back.

But the problem wasn't over yet, the ship was also being pulled under. Before they knew it, everything was dark, and they had been separated from the others.

"It seems I overdid it."
