2v1

Arriving onto the battlefield, they immediately split up to fight their own battles. On the battlefield, marines and pirates were all fighting against each other. Each of them giving their all in this battle.

There were also important figures in this battlefield too. Shanks, Big Mom, Mihawk, and Boa Hancock had also descended onto the battlefield. The marines also had their own strength too with Akainu, Kizaru, Fujitora, and Diane all joining the battle.

"You're not escaping us." Kizaru said with Fujitora beside him.

Imai smiled in disbelief.

"Seriously? Didn't the two of you learn your lesson?"

"Things will be different this time." Fujitora said, his blade slowly being unsheathed.

"I'LL KILL HER FIRST!"

Imai glanced behind her and saw a pirate with a sword in his hand running towards her. She shook her head before easily separating his head from his body. She slashed at the air and got rid of the blood stains on the blade.

"Weaklings shouldn't interfere." Imai muttered.

"You would kill the pirates? I thought they were on your side." Fujitora said.

"Marines, pirates, those labels mean nothing to me. All that matters is if they are an enemy or not. And don't compare me to them, I'm an Emperor…no, what did you all call me? Empress was it?" Imai said, chuckling. "Enough chatting, I've been itching for a good battle."

Fujitora was about to speak when he had to quickly block the incoming attack from Imai. For once, he was being pushed back from the heavy force coming from Imai. When he was about to counterattack, the sudden weight disappeared.

He was confused until he sensed gusts of wind a few feet beside him. Imai had switched over to Kizaru before he had even noticed.

"It seems that devil fruit is in the wrong hands." Fujitora muttered.

Imai smiled widely at Kizaru who was dodging her attacks without a struggle. Though that's to be expected from someone who was able to move at lightspeed, but who's to say she couldn't do the same?

When your own time accelerates, everything around you seems to slow down.

That was exactly what happened to Imai.

Having absolute control over her devil fruit allowed her to use it to its highest potential even if it meant breaking the laws of the world itself.

Kizaru had to deal with two blades slashing at him and Imai transforming between her human self and lightning. Even for him, it was difficult to keep track of Imai since she was someone who was able to keep up with himself.

Suddenly, his stomach had started to hurt. He glanced down and noticed the wound that the blade had inflicted onto him.

She had caught up.

Imai took a second to enjoy the surprised expression on Kizaru's face before continuing her combination of attacks. She had also taken time to keep track of Fujitora's movements.

"Tsk, two against one battles are always so troublesome." Imai muttered.

She flickered in front of Kizaru and sent a kick towards the wound that was on his stomach before blocking Fujitora's sword.

"Oh? No gravitational force this time?" Imai asked with an eyebrow raised.

"This is between you and I. A battle between blades and honor." Fujitora replied.

"Alright, then I'll respect it!"

With a blade in each of her hands, she sent quick yet heavy attacks against Fujitora. Two of the strongest sword users were fighting each other seriously, this was a battle a few did not want to miss.

It was hard to keep track of the two, their fast movements caused their images to blur, and only the sound of their blades clashing against each other could be heard. The ones watching couldn't see the techniques of the sword users.

Slowly, cuts were starting to appear on Fujitora's body. Though he didn't falter, after everything he's been through, a million cuts wouldn't bring him down.

"Hmph!"

A sudden flow of adrenaline filled Fujitora's body. He swung his blade quicker than he ever did in his life, he concentrated as hard as he could, and utilized all of his senses to the fullest.

Observation Haki was useless as Imai was able to counter future sight. The only thing he could do was focus on the present and worry about the future later.

Fujitora swung his blade and was easily blocked by Imai. However, this was what he wanted. He twisted his blade causing Imai's blade to slide against his and with the perfect timing, he thrusted it forward, and felt the blade graze Imai's skin.

The two separated, a couple feet away from each other.

Fujitora's heavy breaths and beating heart filled his own ears. He couldn't tell what Imai was feeling nor what kind of expression she was making. So, he waited for her words.

Imai couldn't believe it, she was looking down at her hand that was covered in blood after being cut across her cheek. Though it was a long cut, it wouldn't leave a scar.

Imai smiled in amusement and said, "It's true when they say you only become stronger during a real battle."

Fujitora raised an eyebrow.

'Surprise and amusement…that's all she felt?' he thought after listening to the tone of her voice.

"You underestimate me, this is nowhere near my limit."

"That's good to hear, then let's take it to the next level then."

The pressure between the two increased as if they studied each other. Both of them weren't making a single step, waiting for the latter to make a move, or make a mistake.

Currently, it was a mind game battle.

*CLING*

Two blades clashed against Fujitora's sword, the ice beneath him showed a crack forcing him to jump out of the way. But during the few seconds while he was in the air, he was vulnerable.

Imai dashed forward, applying Haki to her feet causing her to be even faster. Within a second, a huge gash was inflicted across his chest as red filled the darkness he saw.

*CRACK*

Fujitora took a step back causing the ice beneath him to break. He touched his chest where he had been cut but there was no wound.

"So you've reached that level…" Fujitora muttered.

"A battle using the mind, of course I've reached it. I've surpassed that level since I'm able to bring that mind game battle into reality. You saw it too didn't you? The crack that led to your end." Imai said.

"Of course I saw it, but there's something you didn't calculate in that scenario. The fact that this was never a one on one, but a two on two." Fujitora said.

Just then, a beam of light flew towards Imai. Kizaru emerged from the light and sent a kick towards the side of Imai's head.

"Are you sure I didn't calculate him?" Imai questioned, a smile on her face.

She grabbed Kizaru's leg with both her hands and threw him towards Fujitora.

"Unlike me, the two of you cannot counter future sight. Therefore, I'm able to see everything. You think your plan will succeed? HAHA! I was the one who led you into making that plan. After all, Kizaru isn't someone who can't be calculated."

Imai dashed forward with the blades in her hand. Due to the weight of Kizaru, the ice underneath Fujitora had started to crack from the weight of Fujitora holding Kizaru. He jumped back to avoid falling down into the water.

That was when he realized it, he had jumped, and was in the air. It was just like the scenario during their mind battle. Kizaru was used to bring that scenario into reality.

"You've realized it, but it's too late."

Imai used her blade and stabbed through Kizaru and Fujitora's stomach. Though they would live, the wound would leave them immobile.

She pulled out her blade and smiled at the two that were clutching their stomachs while being on their knees.

"That's more like it. I, the superior, should be looking down on you while the two of you inferiors only deserve to stare at the ground I walk upon."

And just like that, the first battle was over in the middle of the chaos that was escalating.
