Celaena Sardothien

Celaena Sardothien had just rebelled. She had finally snapped and killed three Overseers of the Endovier Salt Mines. Just as she was about to kill the last one as she ran towards him as much as her chains permitted, with a crack sound, the world itself split in front of her. Despite her attempts to stop, she knocked into the crack between the world, she saw green and gold and then collided into something. Something that smelled like pines and spring. She quickly came to and sprang away as she realized she had knocked into a man and raised her sword, quickly ignoring the shift of something inside her. Instead, she focused on the man, no the male Fae, she realized with incredulity as he noted his pointy ears and elongated canines.

In a faraway place, a woman cried out in pain as her eyes began to bleed.

"Your Majesty, are you alright?" asked the Fae, Lorcan.

"Who dares?!?" Maeve roared as the future fragmented in her vision as she became unable to see anything more of the future she had so carefully manipulated. It became not even a probability, as the branch of the fragments of future she had long past seen ceased to exist.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Still, in her bloodthirst, she sprang towards him with her sword, which he easily repelled with his odd thin greatsword. Within a few strikes, she was disarmed and knocked into the ground. She lied there as her bloodthirst and energy bled away from her, and peacefulness filled her with every breath she took in the free looking world as she waited for the last strike to end her miserable life.

The male Fae stood there with his odd sword on her neck sniffed, frowned and asked, "You, who smell like fire and ash... who are you?"

Celaena, who has decided that she had nothing left to lose, said,"Celaena... Celaena Sardothien".

The Fae's gold-rimmed purple eyes darkened as if he detected something in her answer.

"You are Aelin Galathynius." He declared as he sheathed his sword on his back, after a few breaths of staring at her.

"How... How did you know?" Celaena was stunned as it was a secret that very few people knew.

"Your world is one of the few that I had peeked into sometime back. I know some of its secrets. How can I miss the child of destiny of that world?"

"World? Child of destiny?" A million questions revolved around Celaena's head as she was picked up and carried like a rag doll by the fae into a small wooden house nearby.

He propped her on his bed as he began to fire up the fireplace using a lightning spark, if she was not mistaken, and began to pour oil into it.

"Well, I guess I have to do the honors..." He said broodingly as he stared at the fireplace as the fire took hold. "Welcome to the world of One Piece." He looked over at her and flashed his fangs.

"You are in a different world than your own. The crack that you fell through was created by me to step into your world. Instead, you came through." He continued.

"Well, if you want, you could go back. Back to the salt mines, I mean. The space-time once opened will create a weak point there that will always open there and at that time. Especially for you with your unique fate."

"No!"She immediately replied. "I have nothing left there. I would rather stay here and be free."

He smiled as he replied "If that is what you desire. Though I have to warn. Just because you have arrived here, does not mean you are free of your fate. As a child of destiny, fate will eventually lead you back to your world to fulfill your destiny."

"What do you mean by me being a child of destiny? I had a shitty fate until now," asked Celaena.

"It means what it means. You will understand it once you continue your destiny. It is just on hold now. not avoided." He said mysteriously.

"Who are you? How do you know all this?" Celaena asked still disbelieving his words.

"My name is Noah Storm~Bringer. I am the first Fae of this world. I was born with the Sky as my father and the Earth as the mother. It happened because of this place, this island we are on which was once part of the earth, is now in the sky. for the past 400 years." He said.

Celaena looked like her eyes are about to pop out. "I will believe it when I see it." She said.

"Suit yourselves." He continued. "As the first Fae, I am one of the Fae Kings. As such I have certain privileges. So I can feel the binds of fate on a fellow fae and to a minor extent, other people. I also had one chance to peek at other worlds. As a result, I was allowed a view into yours once and I was able to squirrel away some of the secrets of the world."

Celaena sighed, as he finished preparing whatever it was he was preparing. Soon he placed some meat and vegetables in front of her. Which she ate with great hunger and relish.

Just as she was about to take her last bite an hour and 4 dishes later, her wounds began to steam and close. Not even leaving a scar behind. Even the wounds on her back, which had not yet closed due to the salt rubbed on them steamed and closed. "What...?" She began confusedly.

"We are in a higher-order world. Magical Energy is refined from Physical Energy and stored in the body, which when guided by Mental Energy creates Magic. In this world, there is no Magical Energy generated by the earth and sky. It can only be refined within ourselves. If we cannot fully control the energy we consume and refine, It will spill over into your body. Resulting in superior healing and body strength, like the rest of the denizens here. They have enormous stores of raw physical energy which is converted into strength and size."

"The effect is vastly increased in the case of us Fae, who naturally have life rating than humans and even more exaggerated in your case due to your lineage from Mab, the Fae Queen. Mab had amazing healing powers. You have inherited her water attribute magic as your secondary attribute." He continued," It is what makes your fire magic unstable and harder to control."

These were all too much for her. She needed time to process, she decided as she closed her eyes and began to sink into a dreamless sleep that she had been missing for the past 8 months.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Noah sighed as rubbed his face as he watched Ailin Galathynius slip into sleep. Everything he said was true except for the peeking into the world shit. That was the only way he could explain away the knowledge he had of her. He had read the Throne of Glass series long before he died, that by the time he died, he had forgotten a lot of things. His Eidetic memory remembers only from whatever he remembered during his time of death, to till now. But one thing he has to acknowledge is the fact that Ailin was far more beautiful in her human form than he expected.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A week later, Celaena accepted that she has crossed over to another world. She has recovered her former strength and vitality. And was now sparring with Noah. For the 9th time yet, he again disarmed her and had his sword at her throat.

"How do you keep doing that?" Ailin asked petulantly as she pouted. She became much more open, happy and cheerful within a week. Which was far faster than Noah expected.

"Practice" He replied.

She still continued to pout at the fact that despite being a top assassin, she was not able to win against him. "I am also faster and stronger than you in the Fae form and has lived in this world far longer than you. Hence I am much stronger than you." He continued. "Speaking of Fae form, It is time you learned to shift back."

"I know I can shift back to the Fae form. But I have zero control over my magical energy and my fire magic. I am 100% sure that as soon as I shift back, I will set the entire island on fire." She said.

"Hmm... I may have a solution to that." He said as he began to call the rain clouds. "Shift into the Fae form and call for water to cover you. During that time, we will try to find a devil fruit that will help you gain total control over your fire. It will also remove your fire magic's dependence on magical energy."He continued, "Who knows, you may even be able to wield your water magic more skilfully once it becomes your main magic attribute, just like air magic became mine once I ate the lightning devil fruit."

Ailin looked at the skies as Noah said "I will support your meager water magic with the rain I summon using lightning power and air magic. Go on, Shift." Ailin continued to stare at Noah for a moment before she shifted into her Fae form. She immediately went called for water as it began to cover and suppress her rampaging flames.

"I can feel something calling me... That way..." she said pointing east.

Noah was surprised for a moment. "Well, what are you waiting for? Let us find out whatever it is. Hop on." he said as he shifted to become a huge Thunderbird.

"That's your animal form? It is beautiful." She said as she climbed on top of him.

He took off to the east with her guiding him in her fae form to what she felt was singing to her.

Note: Celeana Sardothien is the cover name of the fugitive Fae Princess Ailin Galathynius, Hier to the throne of Terrasen, as she hid in her human form from the King of Adarlan, who banned magic and assassinated the fae royal family of Terrasen, the Galathynius, to form his empire. The character does not belong to me, but to Sarah J Maas, author of the Throne of Glass series.

Note: For Noah's swordsmanship, see Sasaki Kojiro vs Saber from Fate/Stay Night on YouTube.
