Shun stepped out of the cave to experience new things with his new power the moment he stepped out into the open air his expression changed to one of amazement. It didn't take him long to realize why this was.

"So that's how it works" He said in a low tone with a thoughtful look.

What he noticed was that now that he was out in the open air, there were endless drafts to control, but when he was inside the cave there were far fewer since it was an enclosed place with less air.

He understood that if deprived of air he would be weakened. However, this deprivation is almost impossible to achieve with air, as air is present in almost every place, environment, and medium in existence, even in water there are small particles of dissolved gases that he could control.

*So this could be considered a weakness* He thought.

He said so because no matter how small a place is, there is always some air, unless it is closed, which would be almost impossible since people would die suffocated if such a thing happens.

Even so, in places where there is more air to control much better, as it will be easier to control them and will have greater power.

After pondering this some more, he started running through the forest to test his theory.

"This feels great!" Shun said as he ran much faster than before. His theory was true he was able to decrease the air resistance and run much faster.

Another thing he noticed was that when he changed direction abruptly at a very high speed he could shape the air currents to follow him without needing to slow down at any time, this way he can maintain his speed despite turning.

This was a little more difficult as it required more concentration to change the air currents at the right moment, but with practice, he could achieve it as if it was something natural and it would be a great advantage.

When he was running away from the lion he tricked it with zigzags and some feints making the lion have to stop to change direction again, if the lion only had this ability of not needing to stop, it would have been useless to feint and zigzag.

Even he stopped for a few seconds when changing direction while fleeing, now with this ability he could do so without losing any seconds when changing direction abruptly.

"Let's try this..." Shun said as he generated behind him an air current that propelled him forward at high speed reaching a new peak speed.

"Shit!" Shun exclaimed going at a speed he couldn't handle, finally crashing into a tree.

A slight shaking was heard coming from the tree as a couple of leaves fell off.

"Ouch..." Shun complained with a bit of pain as he rubbed his forehead which had a bump on it.

"I was too greedy, first I will practice running while lowering the air resistance at the same time changing the air currents so I can turn without slowing down, once I master those two I will move on to creating momentum behind me to reach maximum speed" Shun said as he created his training routine.

Shun was quite tired, he had already been punching for a while and then started running at full speed while concentrating on 3 things at once, lowering the air resistance, shaping the currents so he could turn without slowing down, and then creating momentum behind him to go faster.

Besides, he was chased by that lion a while ago and the only thing he ate was that shitty-tasting fruit.

"Brrr..." His stomach made a sound asking for some food.

Shun got up in a hurry and went to hunt for something to eat, as it wasn't long before nightfall.

This time he was going to hunt head-on, his new power made him feel more confident and also if you add to this his strange ability to sense the presence of others his confidence increased even more.

Even if that lion appeared he knew he could easily flee, as he knew the lion's speed.

As he walked and had his strange ability that was becoming a habit active, he saw not too far away, the aura of what appeared to be a pig, when he got closer and had it in sight he saw that it was a boar about 1.5 meters tall and about 90kg in weight.

Shun was currently 160 cm tall, which was a little taller than this boar.

He didn't think much about it and started running with all his speed while lowering the air resistance.

Around Shun's hand an air blade formed, this new form of attack Shun came up with on the way, instead of using a knife, create it yourself.

Because of Shun's fast speed, the boar could not react and received a cut on its neck.

"ROAR!" growled the boar in pain and fury, on its neck could be seen a large cut from which a lot of blood was dripping.

To Shun's disappointment this attack did not decapitate the boar with one blow, the boar's body was very resistant.

The boar countered with its head while pointing its horns at Shun. Its horns were about 20 cm long each and very sharp.

Shun dodged to the side, he still had his low wind resistance, and his observation Haki activated so it wasn't too difficult.

Even so, the blow of this boar could not be underestimated, it was much more powerful than the blow Donny threw at him that time with all his strength.

If the boar had hit this blow it could seriously hurt Shun and have a chance in this fight, but the attack was very slow compared to Shun's new speed plus his observation haki that was getting better and better.

Shun dodging successfully it didn't take long for them to throw another slash with his wind blade, this time straight to his right eye.

"ROAAR" This time the howl was only of pain as the eye was a very sensitive area.

But again he failed to decapitate it and it was still alive.

"Damn pig" Shun said impatiently and quickly struck at the wound again. As the boar screamed in pain.

Since it blinded his right eye and with the severe wound he was suffering it was very easy to dodge the boar's poor counterattack attempts.

Once, twice, three times, and finally on the fourth time, the boar's head fell.

"Fu..." Sigh of relief as he didn't know how much longer he could keep the air blade up.

*What kind of boar holds that much? Even my wind blade is much more powerful than a knife or even a sword* Shun thought as he grabbed the boar by one leg to leave.

Shun thought that this boar's strength was defense since, if he hit 1 surprise with this blade to the sparrow or even Donny or another normal pirate he could easily kill it with one hit, *Wait for me Eldorrago I will cut your head off* thought Shun with a cold gleam in his eyes.

After hurting the boar's neck his reaction speed worsened and it was much easier to dodge it since speed was never his strong suit.

Shun at no time took distance from the boar as this would give him a chance to make a lunge or run away, so he was always dodging sideways and relied on his newfound speed to dodge in time at such a short distance.

After accomplishing the odyssey of getting the boar to the cave, he cut some not-very-big pieces and cooked them. By this time, it was already dark so Shun decided to look for his cauldron tomorrow as he did not know the dangers of this new forest at night.

"Well, it's time to sleep..." Shun said as he made a makeshift bed.

As he lay down he managed to leave his haki in a passive state so he could sense the presence of others, currently, he had a radius that covered his entire cave and a bit towards the outskirts.

"Yes, it is convenient this strange power..." Shun whispered as he slowly closed his eyes, he began to think if he previously ate a similar fruit that gave him this strange power, but he doesn't remember such a horrible taste, so he dismissed this idea.

Putting these thoughts aside, Shun fell asleep ending the first day on this island.
