2 New life

As the food was being prepared, my gaze couldn't help but be drawn to the scorching sun in the sky. I muttered to myself, "It's hard to believe that it's already been a week since I arrived in this world."

Indeed, it had been a week since I transmigrated into the World of One Piece. The past week had been quite eventful as I took the time to familiarize myself with my new surroundings and the people within it. It was a strange sensation being in a different body, but I found it oddly pleasant.

When I first woke up in this world, I found myself inside a small house on the outskirts of a quaint village by the beach. However, it was clear that this wasn't Foosha Village, as there was no sign of "Partys Bar" or "Makino." After some investigation, I discovered that I was in a village called Lonest.

The name "Lonest" derived from the abundance of forests surrounding the village. It was amusing to hear two old ladies discussing the origin of the name out of sheer boredom.

Further exploration revealed that Lonest was located on the opposite end of Dawn Island, with a mountainous forest and the complete Goa Kingdom in between. There was also another mountainous region separating Lonest from Foosha Village. It seemed that I was quite far from my intended destination, and it would take several days to travel from Lonest to Foosha.

Nevertheless, I knew that I had to make the journey to Foosha Village eventually to meet the protagonist and his brothers.

"First, I need to acquire a ship and gather my crewmates so we can train together," I thought to myself as I walked towards a cliff a short distance away from the village.

"Hmm... this spot seems ideal for docking the ship. It's secluded, and no one will stumble upon it," I mused aloud.

"Hey, system, what kind of ship can I get?" I inquired.

"[Host, you can have any ship you desire. The only limitation is the firepower you can equip it with, which is standard ship cannons]," the system responded.

After pondering for a couple of hours, I finally devised the perfect design and specifications for my dream ship.

"Okay, system, dock the ship into the sea," I commanded.

As the ship was being placed into the water, the space around me distorted, and waves crashed against the shore. Before me stood a magnificent black ship adorned with gold decorations. It was none other than the legendary Black Pearl. The ship stood tall with three masts, measuring 50 meters in height, 120 meters in length, and 40 meters in width. Its appearance was a fusion of a galleon and an East Indiaman.

The Black Pearl boasted its iconic tattered black sails and soot-colored hull, but I added my own touch to it. At the front of the ship, I had a beautiful golden mermaid with a crown engraved, giving it a regal and unique look.

After admiring the ship for a few minutes, I recalled a quote from Captain Jack Sparrow about the Black Pearl. I decided to engrave it on the left side of the ship.

"Wherever we want to go, we go. That's what a ship is, you know. It's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails; that's what a ship needs. But what a ship is... what the Black Pearl really is... is freedom."

- Captain "Tidal D Val"!

"I may have borrowed the quote, but no one will ever know Yahahahaha." I laughed to myself. If you're wondering…. even my laugh had changed along with my body, but I found it rather pleasing.

As I gazed at the magnificent ship, I couldn't help but imagine the envy it would stir in others in the future. The gold decorations might attract trouble, but it was a risk worth taking.

Suddenly, panic washed over me as I realized that the Black Pearl was now stranded in the middle of the sea. I would have to swim to reach it, but even if I managed to get there, the ship stood 50 meters high, making it impossible to board.

Lost in my thoughts, I suddenly remembered that I could control the ship with a mere thought. I began swimming towards the ship, and once I reached its side, I commanded a set of rope stairs to descend. With the stairs in place, I climbed up, feeling a bit embarrassed by how quickly I grew tired, I definitely need to start training later on.

Finally, I reached the ship and jumped onto the deck with a resounding thud. Taking a moment to catch my breath, I surveyed the lush green grass and the striking black sails. It truly was a marvelous sight.

Satisfied with my new ship, I made my way towards the captain's room. Upon opening the door, I was greeted by a king-sized bed, a wardrobe filled with modern and expensive clothes, a table with a few chairs in the center, a bathroom, and a working desk. All the furniture seemed to be from my previous world, giving the room a modern touch.

Heading to the kitchen, I marveled at the presence of modern appliances. I knew my chef would be delighted. I had even ensured that the water was purified and available 24/7. In the storeroom, there was enough food to last us for two months.

"There are many other additions I've made to the ship, like a separate training room with a different time flow. But first, I need to summon my crew and begin our training," I thought to myself.

"Status," I said aloud.
