VIVA LA REVOLUTION!

I stood on the deck with a mop, watching the guards patrol, pretending to work. I could see the island in the distance, alongside ten other battleships. So far, nothing has happened to throw a wrench into my plans, but even the best laid plans can fall to ruin.

The island was covered in spires and vegetation, but a veil of fog drifted throughout the island, giving it a foreboding feeling. This island practically screams disaster, yet it is still called God's Island.

The ship pulled closer to the shore, anchoring right next to the battleships that arrived before us. I could see hundreds of Marines on the beach, and very few were on the decks of the ships. I put the mop away and moved below deck, looking for Cherry.

"This fight will be harder than anticipated. There were ten battleships already docked here. If we add the number of Marines that escorted us here, alongside the Marines there, there would be over 10,000." I said to her in a small closet.

"There are only ten of the arena slaves, but close to 1,000 total if you count the others. We are going to be very outclassed." She began her nervous habit of chewing her nails. "Already the odds are against us. The others are ready to fight to the end, but even then…"

She wasn't wrong. Even if we get the collars off, fighting against so many trained Marines is impossible, but we don't have to. We just need hostages.

"We will need to move up the time table. We can't let the nobles off the ship, we need hostages to be able to sail away, and even then there will be a fight." I said as I looked out a window. "Send the word-" I was cut off when two of the escort ships erupted into flames.

"What the fuck!" I looked at the now approaching ship. The Rocks Pirates, sailing full speed, blasting away with cannons.

"Send word, start the revolution, this will be a great time to escape!" I took off to the quarters of the nobles. "Tell Yukino to meet me at Quintit's cabin!"

I heard her shout at me to stay safe as she ran in the opposite direction. As soon as I was out of sight I started to equip myself with the various things I bought from the system using the rewards from fighting in the arena.

My slave jumpsuit vanished, replaced by a red T-shirt and black cargo pants, fingerless gloves and steel toe boots. I pulled a harness out of my inventory and slipped it on. The harness had two holsters for guns, one under my left arm, plus one on my lower back and a clip for me to put Gravitas, alongside an additional holster on my hip.

I slipped my M45A1 into the hip holster, an M9 Beretta into the holster under my arm, and a modified Smith & Wesson Governor behind my back, chambered in .20 gauge buckshot that I named "Texas".

{EMERGENCY QUEST! A WRENCH IN THE PLANS!}

{You have begun a revolution to free the slaves, but forgot to account for the pirates showing up early.}

{Free as many slaves as possible and escape, or help the Marines fend off the pirates.}

{Rewards will be determined upon the end of the quest}

I pushed the system screen aside and I rounded the corner. The guards were staring out the window as another marine ship sank below the waves. The battleships returned fire, but were intercepted by something, detonating in mid air.

The guards looked my way before charging. I didn't have enough room to swing Gravitas, and I was not going to fire off rounds and get all the guards here. So I threw hands, mixing martial arts and boxing to decimate their numbers unflinching as metal crumpled under my fists. I could hear the continuous cannon fire outside. As I continued through the hallway, I could hear the giants roar as wood began to shatter. The keys must be starting to pass around now.

I could hear Quintit's annoying snobbish voice up ahead.

"What do you mean my precious slaves are rebelling! Capture them you imbeciles!" I could hear his labored breathing as the fatass shouted at someone. I rounded the corner to see three of the five guards. Yuki, Julia, and Hanato all stood behind Quintit as he stood in his luxurious room, much larger than it had any right to be.

"You're one of my slaves right? Come! Protect your Master with your life!"

Portals, Neko, Glass, and a Noble. Sounds like a bad joke in all honesty. Hanato is the biggest threat here, their portals can negate any attempt to attack the others, or Quintit it I was aiming to kill the incestuous fuck. Hanato could only open portals for small objects, like rapiers, bullets, and if they strain, the pair of short swords can slip through and cut into whomever they are fighting, however, they must be able to see what is attacking them to open a larger portal.

The guards responded in kind as they charged to meet me, Yuki manipulating glass from a nearby window to form a katana, Hardial transforming into her hybrid form, Hanato staying close to Quintit, their portal armor shifting around them. Quintit pulled out the standard noble weapon, the golden gun. Guaranteed to get you punched in the face!

"PUNISH HIM FOR REBELLING AGAINST HIS MASTER!" Quintit shrieked out.

"You no longer have any power here ya' fatass!" I shouted as I brought Gravitas down on Hardail's head full force. The agile cat leaped to the side, claws scraping against my skin, drawing very little blood. I leaned back as Yuki slashed at me with the glass blade, shaving a few hairs off my beard. I brought a foot up and kicked Yuki into a wall, leaving a nice hole. A faint crackle caught my attention, then the sharp pain in my leg as a shortsword manifested out of thin air. I pulled my leg away, then brought down Gravitas as hard as I could. Hanato tried to pull the sword out of the portal, but I was faster. The speed and weight behind Gravitas shattered the blade of the sword, leaving it with just a third of its original length.

"Your fight is meaningless, slave!" Hardial shouted as she lunged at me again. "You are weak! You are nothing compared to us and the world government! Just a lowly slave, meant to serve our every desire!"

I swung the Guandao around me, deflecting each of her attacks with ease. I remained silent as I kept my senses at their highest. I could hear the cannon fire, the screams, the laughter. The fight outside was not going well. I heard the crackle again, and I jumped to the side, another portal opening where my right arm would be. Ykui was getting up from the rubble I had kicked him into. I had to get rid of Hanato.

I used the pommel of Gravitas to knock Hardial away as I dashed at the portal maker. Hanato responded by pulling a gun from his belt, and firing a shot into the air. I could barely hear the crackle over the sound of the gun, as the round entered my shoulder. I was unyielding in my charge, and I began to strike out at Hanato from a distance, using the reach of the Guandoa to prevent them from striking back at me. Then I saw my opening.

A faint flicker of silver lashed out as I drone the blade deep into Hanato's chest, lifting them off the ground.. The portals flickered, and vanished, leaving a young man dangling at the end of my blade. I swiped to the side, bisecting them, splattering gore all over Quintit. I turned around, seeing Hardial and Yuki just staring at me, rage plastered on their faces.

"What's the matter? First time seeing a friend die in front of you?" I mocked them, uncaring. These bastards took pleasure in torture and rape. I have no mercy for them.

"YOU BASTARD!" Hardial cried out as she rushed me, claws extended.

"JULIA, wait, it's a trap!" Yuki's warning was meaningless as I drew Texas from its holster, firing the buckshot at her head, well what was her head, as her gray matter now painted the ceiling.

"I guess cat's don't have nine lives." I said as I pointed the revolver at Yuki. "Now that I got the more annoying one of you out of the way, I can fight without worrying that my own bullets will hit me in the back."

"Fuck you!" Yuki shouted as he pulled multiple panes of glass in front of him, and they scattered into dust, flying at me. So I shot him. Thrice. First shot turned his stomach into soup, the second turned his chest into ground beef, the third made his brain splatter all over the wall. Only me and quintit were left in the room. Me and my so-called master.

"I waited ten years for this moment. Suffering in silence with each lash, each fight, each painstaking day, waiting for this exact day." I said as I walked closer to the false Dragon. I slid the revolver back into its holster, drawing the Beretta and pulling the trigger. He screamed in pain as the bullet tore through the wrist holding his gun, severing muscles and nerves. "I counted how many slaves I had to kill in those fights, those who didn't used to be criminals, but regular people. Do you remember how many?"

Quintit kept crying in pain, even more so when I shot his other wrist. "Why would I! YOU ARE ALL ANTS BENEATH ME! I AM A CELESTIAL DRAGON! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!"

"There is nobody stopping me now? You are all alone here with me." I picked him up with one hand, firing another 9mm into his elbow. "Aboard every ship right now, I have started a revolution. The Marines are fighting the Rocks Pirates, they are too busy to save any of you. The other gladiators are fighting against the guards, and through fighting for our lives every single day, we grow stronger, while your guards do nothing but waste away, gambling, drinking, sleeping on the job. It was all too easy to plan this."

I could hear the battle intensifying outside. The cannonfire had stopped, but was replaced with the clash of steel. I shot his other elbow. His arms became as useless as he was.

"Romulus!" I could hear Cherry running down the halls, several footsteps behind her. "Everyone has their collars off! Amsonia and her group have captured the Choimoux family and are ready to sail away, but the confrontation between the Pirates and Marines is making it hard for us to get everyone on board!"

"I killed the three guards not on our side, and I have Quintit. How many ships do we have full control of?" I dragged Quintit with me as I met up with Cherry.

"Just the two, the rest of the rebels are still fighting on the other five ships still, but it's not going well, they are being overwhelmed." Cherry and Yukino came into the room, not paying much mind to the carnage. "One of the giant's died protecting Amsonia's group from some kind of living sun. The other five are fighting off the Pirates and Marines, preventing them from boarding the ships."

"The rest of Quintit's family must still be on this ship somewhere. Find them. I will go help the others. Get ready to set sail. If the pirates win, they will attack us next no matter what, but if the Marines win we can hold the Nobles hostage and flee." I tossed the fat sack o' shit to Yukino. "Freedom or Death!"

"Freedom or Death!" The former slaves shouted as I ran past them. I reached above deck, where the rebels were using muskets to shoot at both pirates and marines.

"Aim at the pirates! We shall lend our aid to the government just this once! But do not trust them!" I shouted as I grabbed a rope and swung onto the marine ship next to us. I climbed up to the mast and Assassin's Creed jumped onto the next one, until I reached the next World noble's ship. I jumped down and killed a guard beneath me, then began my slaughter as I helped the rebels capture the nobles. I could faintly see Garp fighting against Xebec in the distance, while the other Vice-Admirals fought against the three future Emperors, and losing very fast.

"By Davy Jones' Roger, where are you?" I muttered as I scanned the horizon. Then I saw it. The Oro Jackson, cresting the waves in the distance. He has come, the KING OF THE PIRATES!

Sorry it took so long, I got a new job that has been wearing me out, so new chapters are going ot come a bit slower than usual. feel free to let me know if I make and mistakes, but don't be an ass about it, I don't tolerate that shit.
