14 Thor's Arc ( Part 1 )
( Note: Thor's arc will be separated into multiple arcs as the story develops. So this is the starting chapter and that next chapter will be the battle between the Marines and pirates. The next chapter about him will be like 20 chapters later. So yeah, enjoy the chapter. )
( I nearly forget to upload this chapter, I was busy grinding up some servants in Fgo and Dokkan along with my school work. )

( Drake's Pov )
As I walked towards the back of the island where Thor was training, I was thinking of some ways to drop that news he won't come with to Marineford.
'But my current plans for him should suffice his desire for strength. In all likelihood, I will defect from the Marines.'Even if they protect the civilians of this world most of the time, they are still under the command of the World Government. The Marines will ignore crimes of the Celestial Dragons like slavery and anything else.
'And such at critical times will take over the command of the Marines. And we all know how that World Government operates.' I thought while I reached where Thor was punching of the mountains. As he punched it, he was able to make a dent in it showing his progress.

" You know shouldn't train this hard every day. It doesn't hurt to take a break once in a while." I said to him stopping him as he turned and saw me.
" I have no choice. The King's ritual will start in 50 years, before that I have to make sure I'm strong enough to win it no matter what." Thor replied to me in a resolute voice surprising me.
I haven't heard him talk about this ritual before and his eyes alone tell me he's willing to do whatever it takes to win it. " For it, you to bet everything on this " ritual", it must be something important to you, right?" I asked him as I crossed my arms and sat down on a flat surface of the mountain Thor was punching.
( Thor's Pov )
"It's not exactly what you're imagining it to be. It's a battle that decides who gets to rule the country. You see in my former country, one doesn't need to be nobility to rule, one just has to be the strongest to rule."
" The King's Ritual allows one to challenge the Crown Prince for that right to rule. They must battle it out and whoever is that last one to stand is the new King. This ritual happens every 45 years as a new king is decided, most of the time it is the crown prince. So within those years, I don't have time to rest."
" The current King right now is my uncle, nothing more than a faker. His son Loki is the same age as me and is the crown prince."
" I have no doubt he's training as hard as me considering he will have to take part in the ritual," I said to Drake with resentment remembering my uncle and his wife.
' Just you two wait, I have my revenge for mother and father soon enough.' I thought as Drake continued asking questions about the ritual.

( Drake's Pov )
" How come you are here then, instead of the New World if your uncle is the current King," I asked him before I realized just how stupid the question was. Even if most giants are friendly, not every giant is going to be the same especially nobilities. Thor's uncle probably saw Thor as a threat to his rule.
" My father ruled the country before he died out in the sea mysteriously. There were rumors that it was the Evil Spirit who killed my father. I lost my right to the title of the crown prince that moment my father died forcing my mother and me to ran away from our home due to my uncle along with enemies my father made when he was still alive."
" I do not doubt, that my uncle and his wife paid a major part in my father's death since his voyage was supposed to be top secret. As my mother and I were leaving the country, we were chased by multiple assassins who said they were sent by my uncle."
Not surprising since those two always wanted the throne after my uncle lost against my father in the King's ritual. And my mother and I weren't well-liked either due to us being humans." Thor explained his past to me but there was hesitation in his voice when he called himself a human.
" I see, I suppose you want revenge then? I asked him as he nodded at me.
"Then what about after you get your revenge then? As far as I can tell, you don't have any goals after that and it doesn't seem like you want to rule your country either. So what exactly is your goal after you are done with your revenge?"
"And don't say you want to become the strongest either. You just want to become strong to get revenge so stop lying to yourself." I asked him as he just looked down at the ground with no answer.
" Since you don't have a clear answer, how about following me if you want. You see I want to create a better gentle world, so how about joining me on this grand adventure, our enemies will be the world itself." I asked him as he looked up at me in surprise. I never told him what my dream and ambition was so this was a surprise for him. Mom wanted everyone around he

( Thor's Pov )
' I guess I never thought about what I do after I get my revenge. Since I was four all I thought was avenging my parents, nothing more. So hearing Drake ask me what I do after that stopped my brain for a second as I thought about it.'
' Father and mother wouldn't want me to live life like this. They would want me to be happy, not live this kind of life.'
' HUH...' I thought after saying he's going to make the whole world his enemy.
" You can't be serious, right? Do you realize what you just said, not even I would do that?" I yelled at him for his stupidity.
" Hahahaha, I know it sounds crazy but trusts me, the results will be worth it. Just imagine a world without the Celestial Dragons and the current World Government." Drake said to me as he stood up and offered his right hand for a handshake for that confirmation.
' I didn't know what compelled me to take up his hand but I remembered that last words my mother said to me as I took up his offer.'
' Even if you think you are alone, you just have to go out and find those who will be there for you no matter what. I'm sure you'll find friends who can you trust after all no one is born to be alone.'

5 Minutes Later
( Drake's Pov )
" So what's the plan for us after we leave the Marines," Thor asked after our little moment. Having someone like Thor, a half-human giant as my right hand works out pretty well for me after I asked the system what species he was.
I guess I never thought about Thor being a hybrid, just that he was from Elbaf. And how a giant could make a baby with a human, well no clue. Then again considering the size differences between some couples, this isn't that surprising. A devil fruit probably played a part in it.
From the system's answer a hybrid giant won't grow the same heights as an average giant but around the size 25 ( like 4ft taller than Whitebeard). Other than they have about 3/4 of the average lifespan of a giant which is 200 years so around 150 years for Thor.
Thor doesn't have the weaknesses of giants being easy targets due to their large size and slow speed. Thor has all the advantages of being a giant without any of the downside, a pretty broken physique.
" Hahaha... here's that thing I don't want you to join the Marines," I said to him rubbing the back of my hand as Thor started yelling why.
" Our goal is to end the current World Government along with the Celestial Dragons so we ought to have some trump cards. And that's where you come in." I said to Thor as he calmed down and started listening to my explanation.
" I want you to train and build up our forces in secret while I stay in the Marines for how long. Im not talking about a bunch of thrash but elites who can keep up with our growth and power.
" We can't defeat that world by ourselves so we have to gather allies and like-minded people with the same goals. Our goal is to end the current World Government but there is a downside to that as well."
"That moment that WG ends, we purge this world into chaos so we have to be prepared for that as the Government is keeping the world's powers in balance. So we need people who can do manage the chaos and set up a proper government."
" The idea of a World Government is relatively speaking a good system where it can provide protection and prevent wars between countries but how the WG goes about it is completely wrong. So we are going to remove all the dirty parts about it and establish a new World Government with a proper system this time." ( WG means World Government )
" That's some crazy ambition you got there, but I'm in it. But how are we going to go about this? Both of us damn won't be pirates, that goes against everything we believe in? So how are we doing this.?" Thor asked me now fully paying attention.
" I thought about this for a while, so here is my plan, we build a country that can rival that World Government itself. I'm not just talking about pure strength as well either. We need to build a country that can serve as an alternative to the WG.
' No pirate crew could defeat that Marines and WG together, the Rocks Pirates proved this. Even if the Roger Pirates didn't intervene, the Marines and the WG could stop them by themself. From what Ethan said to me Garp and Kong right now around are around the same power level so they could defeat Rocks together, Sengoku can stop Whitebeard.'
'The other Admiral and Zephyr can stop Shiki from stopping their biggest threats. And for the other members of the Rocks Pirates, they can be stopped by the Vice Admirals and agents of the WG like CP-0. I do not doubt in my mind one of them has to be at least Admiral level. The WG has to have Admiral level powerhouses within its ranks, no question about it.'
' And lastly the Gorosei and Im, possibly the strongest within the WG. We don't even know how long they have been alive so Im putting them at the very top, at least the sword-wielding one. Im is even above them and from the system's ranking, he's at the same level as Rock. He may be even higher depending on his age.' I thought as I answered Thor's question.
"That's where your status comes in. I need to you become the King of your country so that country we are going to build can form an alliance and the same goes for other countries that haven't yet joined the WG." I said to Thor as he nodded at me. He still didn't tell me which country he came from but I already knew at this point. Im just waiting for him to tell me directly.
"So do I just train and recruit people while you're in the Marines," Thor asked me.
" Well, mostly but when I graduate from Marineford, I'm sure I have chances to come back to the West Blue so when I do, I plan on taking you to a certain place to acquire a devil fruit for you in the first half of the Grandline and to train you in whatever I learned in Marineford." I continued to Thor as I told him I already knew where we are going to build the country.
Oh, what devil fruit is it?" Thor asked me as I explained what the fruit is.
"It's called the Rumble Rumble fruit and is somewhere at Brika, it's a sky island," I said to Thor freaking him out since I knew where the rumble fruit is located at.
" You idiot do you know how much the fruit is wanted over the world. Last I heard about it is that the WG is willing to pay $5 billion for it. And you just casually said its location, YOU CAN'T FUCKING DO THAT!" Thor screamed at me after he heard what I said.
" Hahaha, don't worry about it. As far as I know, no one other than me knows where it is. And the only reason I know it is due to my dad going to Brika and that he heard some of the Birkans saying there exists a myth that there is a fruit that grants someone god-like powers if they ate it on the sky island." I casually lied to Thor since no way in hell I'm telling anyone I have a power that can locate devil fruits.
" That world's strongest logia, you're just gonna give it to me if we found it?" Thor asked me in shock to which I answered with a yeah. I did want him to eat it as it fits with his name and he definitely can use it better than Enel combined with his physical strength and my modern-day knowledge.
We talked a bit more about our plans and how to proceed with them. I also told him I planned on recruiting some people as well since with my knowledge I can find people who would go on to become legends in the future. Eventually, our talks stopped before we decided to have one finally spar before I leave for the mission the next day.
( Drake just won't recruit everyone either. He wants people who will listen to his orders with the same ideal as him. And it won't be more than 12-15 people either so there isn't a major power gap between them so his group doesn't break apart from within. And no there isn't any rebellion either. )

4 Minutes Later
As we stood 30 feet apart, I decided to check Thor's stats as I hadn't seen it in a while. Thor's stats appeared above him as he did some light stretches before the spar.

( Note: I know someone will ask about this but the reason he didn't know about haki is that he was fucking 4 years old. What idiot teaches someone haki that young, and not all giants in Elbaf know about haki either since the two strongest giants couldn't use haki either, being Dorry and Brgy. So there's your explanation for that one person Ik will ask. )

'That's quite an improvement and I guess I didn't realize it but seems like he got some inches on me now. But that's to be expected considering the kid is a half-giant.' I thought as Thor dushed at me quite fast as I evaded his first kick towards my neck, strong enough to crush any normal person's neck in one hit.
Thor quickly recovered from missing his kick and spun around trying to kick me in my shin to which I grabbed his leg and threw through a couple of trees as he stood back up again. As we kept fighting against each other, you could hear a small bang sound vibrate from the clashes.
" Not bad at all, you improved quite a bit," I said to him as Thor smiled like a manic at as we continued our fight. Thor kept sending storms of punches and kicks towards my body as I dodged them quite easily with my speed.
I soon got tired of dodging as I caught Thor's right arm and punched him in the face not too hard. Thor stood back up again without much effort, something I realized a couple of weeks ago. Thor's body regeneration can somewhat even rival that of my current body ( Regeneration, not durability cause).
Thor rushed back at me again but this time a lot faster using a weaker version of soru but he couldn't control his speed and body as he crashed into one of the mountains this time not getting back up again. We fought for around an hour so I suppose his body couldn't keep with all the damage it sustained. I walked to Thor as he tried getting back on his feet.
" Just hold still would you, I don't want Atalanta on my back all day now. Today is probably the last day I see you in a couple of years, so let's make it memorable." I said to Thor as I picked him up and carried him on my back towards the orphanage.
( Question: Should I use onomatopoeia words in between the fights? )
