The Strawhats smiled as they saw a giant waterfall in front of them. It was the one that was used to get into Wano. 

"Nekomamushi said that we need to ride up the giant koi fish to be able to get to the main island," said Nami, explaining to the crew once again just how important this mission was. "One of the Road Poneglyphs is on Wano."

Zoro stared at the waterfall as if it was his enemy. "Up there we will meet one of the strongest people in the world and we-"

"Let's go!!" Luffy yelled out, interrupting Zoro and jumping up and down in excitement. He could feel the sense of adventure rising in his chest. "We kick Max's ass and then take the Poneglyph." 

"We have to be careful," Robin frowned cautiously. "Max is known to be quite cautious and dangerous. Also, even his subordinates are still very dangerous."

Sanji felt cautious too as he knew that Reiju, his sister was with him and Max had eliminated Germa 66 by himself. He knew just how monstrous his siblings were when they used to be young, one could only assume how dangerous they would be grown up. Swords and bullets didn't work against them due to their exoskeleton-like skin and their strength was out of this world.

Nami on the other hand didn't have any bad feelings towards Max. But Luffy had to become the Pirate King and this was a competition on who would be the first one to find One Piece. While Max might not be interested in the title, he still wanted the treasure, anyone would.

Seeing some of the fish starting to swim up a waterfall, Franky was the first to react and he threw a lasso around one of the fish that was swimming up. Even one of the fish was still many sizes bigger than Sunny, many times bigger.

As their ship started swimming up, the strange gravity in the waterfall didn't let them slide back or out of the ship and instead kept them in place. It was all such a strange phenomenon that made them feel like they were flying.

Their ship flew over the waterfall and there were no problems, not even a guard. Looking around, they saw an island in the distance and assumed it to be Wano. But Zoro felt his senses tingling. "Something doesn't feel right here."

"It's too quiet," confirmed Sanji, and looking around, there was no other living creature in sight either. 

Luffy suddenly frowned too and looked back towards the door of the entrance inside the ship's interior. There was a man with his hair slicked back and a golden spiked bat leaning on his shoulder. "The Strawhat Pirates, how much was your captain's bounty again? 350 million? I think it's too early for you to be here. Where even is your army?"

Luffy smiled confidently. "Well, we have-"

Nami immediately went and covered his mouth. "We are just visitors here."

"Oh… is that so?" Negan's smile grew wider, showing his white pearly teeth. "Now to me, it feels like you aren't just here for a visit. Also in Wano, Pirates are forbidden entry. Anyone from the outside is forbidden entry."

Luffy stepped forward confidently. "We are going there and get the Road Poneglyph, and we will beat up anyone who stands in our way."

"Ohhh~" Negan made a sound that made it seem like he was impressed, which was exaggerated. "I remember you had that same energy when you tried to save your brother too. How did that end up again? Yeah… with him dead."

[Gum Gum: Pistol]

Luffy's fist darted forward like a bullet and hit Negan straight in the face.

Booom!!

The man was smashed back into the ship and Zoro had pulled out his swords and Sanji was getting ready to fight too. 

"Ow, ow, ow, that hurts like hell," Negan complained, walking back out while holding his nose. But there was no sign of injury on him. 

Zoro immediately attacked again, using two of his swords and appearing behind Negan in a flash.

<Toro Nagashi>

"Aaaghhh!!" A large cut appeared on Negan's chest, screaming and holding onto his cut panicked.

Turning around, he pulled out his third sword and put it in his mouth, Zoro had a furious look on his face. "Stop it with all the foolish acts."

Negan's look of pain turned back into a smile. "How did you know? Usually, I always get people with these acts."

"As a swordsman, I can tell when I cut flesh." 

"Okay~ wow~ that's cool as shit," Negan kept smiling and he tugged his hand under his shirt and pulled out a plastic bag full of red liquid. He dipped his finger in it and licked the red liquid. "Mhh~" he moaned in pleasure. "Strawberry juice, that's very delicious." 

Veins popped in Zoro's forehead, he tightened the hold on his sword and immediately went to attack again. But his eyes widened as he felt a hand touch his shoulder and the man in front of him had disappeared.

"You are slow," Negan whispered in his ear and the sound of electricity crackling rang out.

*BZZZT*

"Zoro!!" yelled out Luffy, immediately entering gear second to go and save his friend. But it was too late as Zoro's body had darkened and been fried, he fell to the ground.

Luffy clenched his teeth angrily and attacked Negan. "You will pay for this!"

[Gum Gum: Jet Gatling]

Negan smiled, his body turned into an electric current and he blitzed around, while Luffy could sense him, he couldn't hit his opponent as Negan was too fast. 

Suddenly Negan's body reappeared right behind Usopp, the rest of the crew immediately went to attack. Only Sanji instead went towards his captain. "Luffy! Look out!"

But it was too late as golden needles that had been morphed from Negan's bat shot towards Luffy and pierced his thigh, hand, and stomach. The one that was about to pierce his head was kicked away by Sanji in the nick of time.

"Aww~ shucks, curly brow figured out my plan," Negan said in a jokingly ridiculing manner. "And I wanted to take care of the captain first."

"Everyone! Be careful!" Robin suddenly yelled out a warning panicky. "Don't get confused by his words. Ever since the beginning, he had tried his best to anger us. By mentioning Ace and mocking Zoro, he is doing this to disrupt our flow. He wants us to be angry."

"Ding! Ding! That's right, lady," Negan pointed at Robin. "You are 100% correct. I am not strong enough to take you all on at the same time in a fair battle. Did you know that Observation Haki becomes worse the more emotional you become? Especially when you feel anger."

His mocking words infuriated everyone on the ship, but none of them fell for the same trap twice. Luffy shakingly got up and covered his arm in Haki, since he had been injured, using Gear Second was out of the picture now as it would mean that his blood would just flow faster out of his wound. This had been a lesson he had learned the hard way.

Taking a deep breath, Luffy blew into his arm and it started enlarging and a mist of steam surrounded his form. His mechanical arm started clanging too.

"Ohh~ this is nice! Is it some kind of new transformation? That would be so cool!!" Negan seemed to be the most excited for his enemy's new transformation.
