Lo Chen brought Bakara back to the pirate ship. Everyone was very curious about the woman Lo Chen had brought back since he had previously mentioned that he was bringing back an important crew member. It turned out to be the woman standing before them.

Lo Chen: "This is our new member, Bakara, the Lucky Devil Fruit ability user. She will play a crucial role in our pirate crew in the future."

The Zachberg Kingdom was also a member of the World Government, and it took quite some time to reach the central arena on foot. Lo Chen had Capenbeck find a large carriage. This was the advantage of the Castle Fruit ability, which could accommodate hundreds of people inside. It took just over an hour to reach the arena by carriage.

Arriving at the arena entrance, the crowd had already grown significantly, with people coming and going.

Gate registration personnel: "Please wait for a moment. Admission requires a thousand berries per person."

Without hesitation, Capenbeck took out ten thousand berries and handed them to the registration personnel, who immediately beamed with a smile.

"Three gentlemen, please rest assured that we will arrange the best seats for you," the registration personnel announced loudly, and a young and beautiful girl came to welcome Yuri and the others inside.

The young girl who came to welcome them saw that the three of them, especially the one leading them, exuded a unique charm, and she blushed instantly.

The host's words riled up the audience. Basas had become quite a famous figure, and despite the odds being stacked against any challenger, the audience was still enthusiastic.

Basas raised his hands and exclaimed, "Ha ha ha! Who else dares to challenge me? I'll take on anyone!"

He was thrilled and loved this kind of challenge the most. In more than a year of participating in arena combat, he hadn't suffered a single defeat, which made him a bit overconfident.

Then the challenger stepped forward, a tall and burly figure over two meters tall, exuding a powerful aura. Basas was nearly three meters tall, equally burly and imposing.

This made many audience members wonder if this would be a close fight, as both fighters seemed evenly matched.

When the host shouted "Begin," the challenger immediately launched the first attack.

"Watch as I end your winning streak!" The challenger knew he had to give it his all to face Basas. Basas, however, didn't seem particularly concerned.

"Ha ha ha! You think you can end my streak?" Boom... After a few clashes, Basas knocked the challenger down. The entire audience erupted in cheers.

Basas continued to win several more matches until the day's combat competition ended. Raffet remarked, "Captain Lo Chen, this guy has some decent skills."

Having watched Basas in several matches, Raffet thought he was decent, although not as strong as himself. Still, he was more than qualified to join Lo Chen's pirate crew.

Lo Chen said, "Let's go and invite our next crew member."

Lo Chen got up, with Raffet and Capenbeck following behind. When they reached the rest area in the back, two guards blocked their way and said, "You can't enter here. Leave quickly."

Capenbeck pulled out his pistol and aimed it at the two guards, firing two shots.

Bang, bang. Capenbeck's bullets directly hit the heads of the two guards. And so, Lo Chen, Raffet, and Capenbeck swaggered into the rest area.

The two gunshots immediately caused a commotion in the arena. After all, anyone who dared to provoke the arena would usually not survive to see the next day. Of course, today was definitely an exception, given that Lo Chen led the charge into the arena. Everyone inside was a participant in the matches, so seeing three unfamiliar figures was unusual. Typically, competitors would report in before the matches, rather than showing up after they were over.

Lo Chen and his group walked straight toward Basas. Basas also noticed that these three were looking for him and looked at them with a challenging gaze.
