The Second and Fourth Division members disembarked, and rushed towards the enemy, with Ace at the forefront.

"Follow Vice-Commander Ace and kill those bastards!" The battle ensued as members of the Poison Wolf Pirates clashed with the Whitebeard Pirates.

As per the plan, Thatch engaged Poison Wolf, and Ace confronted Poisonous Ed Virtue.

Thatch and Poison Wolf were only probing each other for now, while Ace was skillfully countering Ed's poisonous attacks with his flame powers, not even letting it affect the battles of lower-level members.

To avoid killing their men, both of these battles were being fought some distance away from the main battlefield.

As their fight progressed, casualties began to occur on both sides.

Ron followed the medical team to treat the injured while wandering the edge of the battlefield. He also remained cautious, acknowledging that things may go wrong at any moment.
