Seeing the rewards in the Newbie Gift Pack, the Random Vessel and Random Material are already clear to me, having previously been explained by the system. The Random Talent, however, confused me.
System, what's the difference between Talent and Materials, aren't Talents already part of the Materials section?
"DING! The Materials are ingredients or fragments that the Host can use for his subordinates, meanwhile, Talents are for the Host's personal use"
I see, so that means through the use of 'Talent', I can also get stronger!
I am ecstatic with the thought, hehe, just imagining blowing a castle with a single punch excites every fiber of my body.
My eyes lit up as the blue interface materialized before me.

A roulette with so many choices making it almost like a line, the only way I could differentiate each slot is because they all have different colors. I couldn't even read the context inside.

A wave of tingling electricity washed over me, not the sharp sting of a lightning strike, but a gentle hum that sparked in my core and danced across my limbs. It was an unfamiliar sensation, yet strangely exhilarating.
And soon enough, electricity formed around my body,
"AHHHH!"
It hurts!
Throughout my body, I was being electrocuted every time the electricity came in contact with my skin.
I fall to the ground in pain as Godspeed soon deactivated.
I completely forgot, Even Killua's powerful Godspeed couldn't grant him true immunity to lightning. Instead, it was his years of grueling physical conditioning that allowed him to properly utilize Godspeed to its potential.
I should be cautious next time.
Nonetheless, I am still thankful to obtain an assurance that will guarantee my survival in this god-knows-where place.
The Random Vessel,
The vessel, its function is to be an empty vase that the character will take form. Therefore, Vessel determines what the character's appearance will look like, for example. even if I put an animal characteristic material, if my vessel is that of a human, the character will still be human no matter what.

And so, once again, a roulette inside of the blue screen appeared in front of me

I can't wait to create my first character!

Well, it's better than nothing, and there is some good stuff here too,
Master of Weapons and Bone Manipulations, kinda complement each other, plus, it suits the character of an Undead.
As for the others... I will think about it.
Now, the most important thing is to start creating my first ally!
Hearing my thought, a blue screen materializes in front of me, inside, a single slot with the label 'Vessel' written on top can be seen with a + written inside.
It's just like those crafting tables on fantasy games I used to play.
Without further ado, I quickly clicked the plus sign and put the Undead Vessel.
Below it, four new slots can be seen with the word 'Materials' written on top.
I didn't think much nor hesitate as I swiftly put, Bone Manipulation, Master of Weapons, And Genius in the slots.
As for deciding on the last slot, I carefully brainstormed and thought, in the end, I chose to put in 'Housekeeping' rather than 'Animal Language'.
Animal Language doesn't complement the other materials and can be of great use if I find materials that are connected to Animals therefore creating an ally who can communicate and if possible tame animals.
[DING! Creating Characters!]
The screen shows a loading bar as I patiently wait, relaxing, basking in the heat of the sun as the fresh cold wind caresses my face.
The creation didn't last long, not lasting more than 10 minutes as the loading bar was about to be full.
Here it comes!
Excitement is evident on my face, staring at the blue screen in front of me with a wide grin and sparkly eyes.
"!!!"
A blinding light dazzles out of nowhere, blocking my sight as I try hard to see.
The blue screen disintegrated and formed a silhouette of a man who stood at least 5'9 feet tall.
[DING! Character creation complete!]
The blinding light dimmed, revealing a man, mirroring my build, who emerged with a buzz-cut hairstyle and an unreadable face. He is staring at me with his stoic face but in his eyes, respect and loyalty can be perceived if you pay close attention.
[DING! As a finishing touch, please give the character a name]
A name huh...
