23 Marine soldiers

"What..?!"

Sengoku's face morphed into an utterly shocked one when Marines started dropping left and right, their eyes were going blank.

An area wide burst of conqueror's haki was released by Mark, his eyes were showing exactly what world nobles claimed to be.

God's of the world overlooking everyone, a king amongst kings.

"I am Saint Mark, it's truly a pleasure to meet all of you fine people."

Mark laughed with a graceful posture, but that didn't keep Sengoku from cursing in his mind, this was a conqueror!

None of these guys were good news, all of them had a quirk of their own, they all had a dream that they were madly driven towards.

Sengoku didn't know what Mark's dream was, but his presence was overbearing even for him, another owner of conqueror's haki.

Whatever this dream of his was, it was a big deal, or his conqueror's haki wouldn't be so strong.

"Please allow us to entertain you Saint Mark, this way."

Yet Sengoku didn't show his thoughts on his face, he bowed to Mark and showed him the way in.

He didn't say much regarding the burst of conqueror's haki either, because what was the point of saying anything anyway.

He knew that Mark wasn't attacking them, Mark had controlled his power, none of the Marines were actually knocked out, they were only light headed, and Sengoku knew what that meant.

'He didn't want to cause harm, his presence might be overbearing, but his ideas are not, this is a natural born conqueror.'

'Sigh, why was he born as celestial dragon, who knows what that kind of environment did to his mind all these years.'

Sengoku pursed his lips, he was trying to understand Mark from decoding his actions.

Mark's gestures to his etiquette, the man was a noble through and through, yet he didn't directly look down on them, he had an aura of aloofness to him.

Sengoku had seen enough conquerors to know what one was like at first glace, his devil fruit had given him a mind powerful enough to understand many things.

Still, he needed to know more about Mark to get an idea about the guy.

"Saint Mark, can you tell me what are your plans for visiting Navy HQ, It would be our pleasure to set up everything you might need beforehand."

"If we know about your plans in advance, we can serve you without delay."

Mark heard Sengoku and pursed his lips, he didn't reply straight away, he was just sighing at the weirdness he felt.

'So many main characters joined marines, they were always dying to be trained by Garp or Sengoku.'

'Those main characters always dance in the plam of these guys, going to any place they order, and look at me, look at the contrast between us, suck it you worthless main characters.'

Mark laughed internally as he gave other main characters running around like headless chicken, a big middle finger.

They could stroke their ego with a big bounty, or they could be subservient to all the whims of navy upper echelon, but Mark was happy with what he had, this was good enough.

"Keep doing what you usually do, I am here to learn and maybe recruit people, if they catch my eye."

Sengoku looked confused so Mark elaborated further.

"What I am doing is internal information, but I trust you would keep it a secret, yes fleet admiral?"

Sengoku nodded, because what else would he do? Tell him nah mate, I set up SWORD organization inside Marine, specifically to hide things? Sengoku wasn't that dumb.

"I have been appointed a seat amongst the five elders, future position of course "

"I have come down to lower realm to experience the world, and I want to recruit some people from your navy to be my crew."

Sengoku's mouth opened wide enough to hold an egg, but he quickly held it in, in Morgan's words, this was big news.

"So I am here to recruit and observe what I have to handle in the future."

"After all, what kind of ruler would I be if I don't even know how marine actually works."

Looking around the training ground, full of sweat stains and discipline, Mark smiled.

"There is a big difference between words on paper and reality fleet admiral, and I am here to understand the reality of marines."

Looking at the serious Mark, Sengoku thought about his words.

'So he is here to observe us, I can see that his attitude towards us has been positive until now.'

'If I can convince Saint Mark to help the navy, maybe the navy can follow their justice much better in the future.'

When he thought of this, Sengoku truly smiled for the first time since Mark came to the headquarters, and Mark smiled gracefully in return.

Sengoku once again walked forward, but with much less pressure, he was sure he had somewhat figured out Mark's ideas now.

Mark was a man who had big dreams and he didn't hate the Marines either, this was important as Mark could lead Marines towards it's intended purpose, justice.

This was something which was within Mark's ambition, justice didn't clash against Mark's dream, whatever it may be.

That's why Sengoku knew, as long as he plays his cards right he'll have an Elder and a conqueror supporting Marine's idea of justice.

'I need to convince Saint Mark about justice, if he supports our ideas the sea will be soon free of scum.'

Sengoku really wanted Mark to support their justice, the five Elders almost always stop the marine from delivering true justice.

He wanted to see if he can do something so that the Marine will be supported by Mark in the future, it was of utmost importance that he gets Mark's support.
