Ch 34 : Crocodile atttack

" You…"

Crocodile's face turned gloomy when he saw the oncoming figures.

One Zephyr had already given him a lot of trouble. And now there were a few more guys whose power was unknown to him.

" My name is Uchiha Itachi. Nice to meet you. And if I must say, let's end this struggle. Else, you will gain nothing but defeat."

" Bastard!" Crocodile roared.

Though he had been defeated by Whitebeard and now become the dog of World Government, one thing he would not tolerate was being underestimated by an unknown man like this.

His eyes grew dangerous, and he was ready to give the command to shoot.

After all, he knew that his chance of winning was by taking Sullivan Kingdom hostage.

However, a voice came and stopped him before he could even open his mouth.

" If I were you, I would not do that."

Crocodile startled. But the next thing that happened almost made him shriek with fear.

" You think you are the only one who had hostage?"

"Itachi" waved his hand, and then a picture of Nico Robin being captured was displayed in front of Crocodile.

" In case you try anything dangerous, then don't blame me for being merciless."

Itachi's eyes narrowed and the red pupils with three tomoe appeared.

This time, Crocodile was really shaken. The other party had really grasped his weakness. Still, he tried to act calm.

" Humph, do you think I would give in just because of a woman. I think you should know my reputation better." He said. Hoping that the man in front of him would believe him.

But to his nightmare, Itachi just snorted.

" If it was any other woman, then I would believe it. However, she is Nico Robin, and I should not say how important she is to your plan, right? Without her, your plan had essentially failed."

A look of horror appeared on Crocodile's face the more he heard Itachi's words.

Other than Nico Robin, he had never told this plan to anyone else. Then how could this be?

The more he realized it, the more he knew he must be tricked by the World Government. This Sullivan Kingdom was far from your ordinary Kingdom.

Nonetheless, now was not the time to stop.

He was just one step away, and he could not back down.

Crocodile sees Itachi, standing there relaxedly without putting any guard, and a crooked smile appears on his face.

'Humph, you might be good! But you should never put your guard down in front of me!'

The next moment, half of his body had turned into sand, and at his full speed, he went toward Itachi.

He had been able to appear right behind Itachi, his gold hook was raised, and a victorious smile emerged on his face.

But this time, a heavy laugh came from the side and stopped Crocodile.

" Hahahaha, do you think you can touch him on my watch?"

*BOOMM!!!!!*

Crocodile''s attack was blocked by Zephyr.

The wide smile on Crocodile's face was now replaced by an annoyed look, and he looked at Zephyr full of frustration.

" Bastard, get away from me!!"

" You wish, bastard!! I have long wanted to smack a Shicibukai!!"

The two exchanged hits, and every time their attack collided with each other, shockwaves spread to their surroundings that almost made the crew thrown to the sea.

Even Rob Lucci watching this battle was gloomy.

His eyes shifted to the bald agent in front of him, and it grew cold.

" Since Zephyr had decided to take care of your boss, then it means you are my target."

" Humph, my body is as strong as iron. There's no way you could injure me."

A side battle in the big battle of the Sullivan Kingdom versus the Baroque Work was about to start, and even Kaku, Khalifa, and Blueno were finding their own opponent.

In the meantime, Cade who was watching all of this from the port, looked at the situation with a calm face. The edge of his mouth was slightly raised.

' It seems the battle is about to start.'

The wind blew his hair, giving him a unique charm that, along with his handsome face, could even stun most beauties.

Ain and Vivi, who were watching from the side had a blush when they saw this side of Cade.

However, Lake who had known Cade much longer, had a shiver when he saw this expression.
