17 Ch 17 : Garp and Zephyr

In his office, Cade was currently reviewing the documents in his hand with a frown.

Since he was a bit oblivious about the matter regarding Garp, Zephyr, and Crocodile, the pressure to get stronger is bigger than ever.

He didn't know how long the deterrent would work on Crocodile, so before it lasted, he should at least be as strong as Crocodile.

Or else the Sullivan Kingdom would only be the next Alabasta.

At this time, he was thinking hard about how to increase his strength.

BOOM!!!!

The wall on the side suddenly burst open, creating a big gap that few people could come in.

What the fuck? Was this another Baroque Work invasion?

Cade had stood up. He was ready to drag the enemy to his illusion world.

Vivi panicked and tried to stop the person from coming in.

But when Vivi saw the people coming, her figure suddenly froze.

" A.. this.."

Her mouth gaped, and her eyes widened in shock.

How could she not? In front of her was the Marine Hero Garp and another old man who looked as domineering as Garp.

" Hahaha, sorry for the wall!"

A loud laugh came from Garp's mouth, which made Cade's face twitch.

Was this funny? Breaking people's walls? Did this monkey live in the prehistoric era and did not know the existence of the door? Cade had a blackline all over his forehead. If not for the fact that Garp was strong, he would have pummelled him for destroying his office wall for no reason.

Even Zephyr embarrassedly covered his face. Once, he really regretted bringing Garp here.

If this was the case, then how could he show his face in front of Cade?

Luckily Cade was still reasonable. Seeing that the other party was Garp, he quickly tried to calm his temper.

It's useless to try and reason with Luffy's family. Even a strong man like Sengoku could only hold his anger.

At least this was not an enemy attack, he thought.

Unconsciously, Cade began to acquiesce. And everybody knows. Once a person began to acquiesce, he would sooner or later be dragged into..

Cade looked at the two strong old men in front of him, and his eyes began to glimmer.

That's it. How could he not think of this before?

Obviously, old men like Garp and Zephyr didn't come here to enjoy themselves in the Illusion brothel. And if there was a reason, it must be because they saw the potential in Illusion Brothel.

The negotiation with Zephyr practically went without any hitch.

Cade asked for some conditions, like training the Kingdom Guards, and since it didn't cross Zephyr's bottom line, Zephyr immediately agreed.

With that said, days quickly passed since Zephyr and Garp arrived at the Sullivan Kingdom.

It had been almost a week, but neither of the old men seemed like they wanted to leave yet.

Rather, they seemed to really enjoy their time in the Sullivan Kingdom.

Since Zephyr was training the guards, Cade had voluntarily offered free food and accommodation for both Garp and Zephyr. But who knows that he would soon regret it.

In Cade's office, Cade was handling documents as usual.

However, there was something different today.

" Bah kid, locking yourselves every day in the office, how about you train with this old man?"

" Bahahaha, good idea Zephyr. Train him and recruit him to be a marine. Look at that scrawny body. He should get some muscles. That way, Marine would get a new good seedling!"

Inside Cade's office, Garp and Zephyr sat and chatted like they owned the whole office.

Garp even ate his Senbei, and the senbei crumbles were everywhere.

" Mr. Garp, Mr. Zephyr.. you know I'm busy, right?"

Cade said. His voice looked tired.

The past few days, the two really treated his office like their living room, and Cade almost had no privacy here.

" Bah, what busy? I don't remember seeing you work since I came here. Instead, you looked at those same documents every day as if you were in love with them. I don't think even Sengoku loves documents like you do!" Garp snorted.

" Uhh.."

For this remark of Garp, Cade really can't reply.

To be honest, he really should not have had that much work recently. He just pretended that he was busy and locked himself in the office because if not, his parents would surely come at him and ask him to quickly get married.

Thinking about getting married to another spoiled princess, Cade quickly shook that thought away.

Jokes on them. In One Piece Anime, most of the spoiled princesses were ugly-looking, and Cade definitely doesn't want to spend the rest of his life with those ugly-looking princesses. After all, he was also a face-control person.

Vivi, on the side, looked at Cade's lost face and silently chuckled.

After a few days of being his secretary, she had learned that Cade was not a bad guy at all. And rather, if she wanted to save Alabasta, maybe Cade was the missing piece.

These past few days, Cade always treated Vivi kindly. And whenever she sometimes missed and worried about Alabasta, Cade was always there to pat her head, relieving her tension a lot.

In a place where she was a stranger to everything, it was not strange if Vivi began to develop a dependency on Cade.

From Cade's words, Vivi learned that the real mastermind behind Alabasta's misery was none other than Crocodile, and later there would be a group of people that would come and save Alabasta for her.

Still, Vivi didn't believe Cade's words.

What group of people? Vivi believed this was Cade's nonsense. Rather, she believed that Cade was actually collecting strength, and when his strength was enough, he would go and be that prince in that white horse for Vivi.

Unconsciously, Vivi began to look at Cade, and her face turned red.

And even though Cade didn't notice this, there was a person in the room that saw this, and a smirk grew in his face.

Zephyr: 'Hoho.. what did I see here..'
