13 Ch 13 : Lake's new role

" Lake, How about becoming a Pirate?"

The moment the words were said, the atmosphere in Cade's office immediately dropped.

Even the voice of dripping water could be heard clearly now.

If not for the fact that he could still feel the wind blowing through his window, Cade would have guessed that Lake had an ability to stop time.

Still, looking at Lake's reaction made Cade believe choosing Lake was the right choice. Though he was sometimes a bit silly and annoying, there was no one he could trust more than Lake.

" My liege…"

Looking at Lake whimpering like this, Black lines began to grow on Cade's forehead.

If this was a beautiful woman in front of him, he would have gone and hugged her. But this was Lake, and watching Lake pretending to act cute, a huge desire to truly chase Lake away emerged in Cade's mind.

"Then, let's do it right now, my Liege! As for the name, how about Decade Pirate?"

Cade made his decision after receiving his partner's genuine consent this time.
