"Are we really heading off to Elbaf? Just because a compass said so?" (Tanya)

"It's not just any compass it's a compass that can lead you to anything you want in this world."

"Can it lead me to evolution units in the frontier?"

"It can, but even if you specify the type of one you want say a dark type, there's still roughly between 11-12 evolution units it's talking about but when you get even more specific it just keeps spinning saying it doesn't know if there is that specific of one there when you ask it that way."

"Well… it's better than nothing, I mean getting more and more of them will be better."

"Well yeah we tried that but the more you try to farm a specific type the less of them you find so we have to switch to a different type every night so really we can hunt only one of each type a week we've done it so long that we even have a percentage chart for what kinds your most likely to find when you go after them on purpose."

I then pull out a chart on the likelihood to actually to finding one out in any of the virtual battlefields

Nymph's 50%- integral in early to mid grade evolutions, later evolutions don't use them

Spirits 25%- also mainly used in early to mid grade evolutions same as nymphs not used in later evolutions

Idols 15%- used in mid grade and some later evolutions

Totems 5%- used mostly in later evolutions

Pots 2.5%- very rare later evolution unit, but luckily most people don't need this unit unless it's a special alternate evolution that someone has.

Bulbs 2%- same as pots but are actually used more often, highly sought after.

Miracle Totems .45%- nearly impossible to find but are integral to final Omni Evolutions.

Mecha God Totems .05%- same as miracle totem but your more likely to get them as rewards for quests than to stumble upon them.

Then there are the mimics who spawn in chests throughout the battlefields, you can tell if there a mimic chest because they move a little signaling that they are mimics and there solely based on the difficulty of the area your in so there much easier to farm than the others, specifically in areas where dark type units spawn.

Mimics- found mostly in low level areas

Bat mimics- low to medium level areas

Dragon mimics- medium to high level areas

Metal mimics- special mimic that spawns in pure metal looking chests, hardest to find as they can be in any dark area map.

"This was from over 14 years worth of research on how difficult to get these units."

"….. it's almost impossible for me to evolve then…." She says as she falls to her knees as she needs a miracle totem and a dark mecha god just to do her evolution.

*sigh* "Yeah there is that issue, I wish there was just some way to unlock quests for everyone so they can just do things to farm up the units they need…"

But then the world just stops and everyone besides me and Tanya are frozen in place as the one who brought us to this world appears before me.

"Man it took you forever to even think of that question, you know I've been waiting almost the past 10 years for you to ask that question, but no you preserved and strode on without my help, had you asked that question back when you set foot on this island I would have had to create an extremely hard quest for you to complete just to activate the companion quests for your crew, but since you asked now the quest is a more simple one for you to do." (???)

"Is it the same quest you were gonna give me back then?"

"No, this one is something I've been waiting to see for awhile but you just haven't gotten the time to do, after this journey to Elbaf you have this is the quest I give you."

Quest start: The World's Best

Challenge Dracule Mihawk in a duel and somehow injure him.

Rewards- unlock the companion quests for your crew and family.

"….. ARE YOU INSANE?! You think that's easy to do?! Even if I go all out I don't know if I can injure him! Maybe if I went into my Kagutsuchi form maybe, but I haven't farmed up enough fire Metal units to use that form again!"

"Hey I didn't say beat him, I said injure him, it doesn't need to be a fatal injury or anything, if you can just leave a cut on him and survive the duel you complete the quest, simple right?"

"Who is this Mihawk guy?" (Tanya)

"This worlds greatest swordsman that he has never lost a fight when it comes to pure sword skills, the only one too even compete with him was Shanks and he is one of the 5 Emperors of the Sea, and that was before he lost his arm two years ago."

"Well kiddo all I can say is that if you want to hurt him you might have to just bring your A game to the fight and lots of potions just so you don't die…" he says as he begins to fade away and the world regains it color.

"…. Shit!"

"Well will just have to worry about that later, come on let's just set sail for Elbaf already." She says as she goes off to board another one of my other ships that Tom has made for me, it doesn't have a name yet but this one is closer to a Frigate in size, I didn't ask for this but Tom says he just likes to keep busy, keeps his bones from rusting he said so I got another ship, and since he built I decided to take everyone who wants to come along, the only people who said they couldn't come were the Boa sisters as they have to take care of things most of the time that's why they can't go with me as much anymore, but with a bit of convincing and reassurance from the elders that they can handle it while they were away they came along with me for once.

Besides Amande and any of the Big Ma's kids for obvious reasons and Noel and Dessit needing to take care of Franky for awhile still, he can move around in a wheelchair now but they still need to give him his cybernetics to give him his legs back.

But everyone else came along, even Perona and the Doflamingo Girls came with so here's the crew this time.

Me, Owen, Theo, Florence, Hancock, Sonia, Mary, Kuda, Zala, Gem, Mikita, Tanya, Visha, Robin, Perona, Baby 5, Sugar, Monet, Viola, Nami and Nojiko.

All honesty if things somehow go south it's better to have them here than not, I could take on a few giants but if it's a whole army I think I'll just tire myself out before I get out of there with only a few of us.

"Alright everyone is here it's time we set sail for Elbaf! Nami! Take the wheel and drive us there."

"Aye aye Captain!" With that we unfurled the sails and raised our Jolly Roger of the Firebrand Pirates and set sail for Elbaf.

Fun fact about this ship it isn't pulled by a Yuda as Tom got enough Seastone to line the bottom of the ship so this was just a ship that moved by wind and when in the calm belts by paddle to get along.

"Are you sure we shouldn't take a Yuda with us?" (Hancock)

"I trust Tom and Seastone has been proven that Sea kings and Sea Emperors ignore ships with them on the ships hull so will be fine."

And I was right the time it took us to go from HQ straight into the south sea only took a few hours but no sea kings attacked us.

So we took the same way through reverse mountain to the North Sea to cut through the northern calm belt of the new world to reach Elbaf.

Though as usual whenever we go through the reverse mountain some hot shots always want to test there mettle against other pirates, though they chose…. Poorly.

"Tanya, Visha."

"Yes Captain!"

"Kill them all, no mercy."

"Yes sir!" They both took out there Geweher 48 rifles and loaded them and attaching bayonets to the end before running and leaping off the deck and flying around the enemy vessel shooting every single one of them down, taking turns to attack as they covered the other one as they reloaded dodging all of there shots that were headed at them.

It didn't take long until the deck was covered in bodies that there wasn't a soul in sight as they both came back and saluted me, which I just nodded and brought the ship in close for me, Owen and Kuda to take a look around.

"Hmmm? Would you look at that someone survived." I say as I sense someone still breathing under a pile of bodies so I just reached in and pulled him out, he was a young lad roughly 16 years old.

"Hmmm just a crew mate it seems, guess those girls took out everyone including your captain, now what should I do with you?" I say as I hold him by his neck as he just grabs onto my hand to loosen my grip so he can just breath a little easier.

"I could just kill you, but then how will I get my message out to the world that seems to me that not everyone knows my crews flag, or me Firebrand Vargas, Leader of the Firebrand Pirates and the youngest Warlord of the seas, so lucky you, I'm letting you live but in return you better tell those sheep that want to make a name for themselves on the Grand Line who they can and can't afford to fuck with." After I finish talking to the kid I toss him into a life boat and toss in enough food and water to last him a week before cutting the lines and letting it fall into the water below.

"Take all the valuables and any good foodstuffs, burn the rest with the ship." I say as I hop back onto my ship.

"Hmmm maybe I should call this ship Inferno it goes with the Fire theme of our crew."

"Plus you leave burning wrecks in your wake, right? Darling?" Hancock says as she comes up behind me and wraps her arms around me.

"Heh it fits even better then, a ship that leaves its enemies up in flames…. Maybe I could get Tom and Dessit to install a flamethrower onto it to make that statement doubly true." I say as I stroke my chin as I think up that idea.

"Mmm that's a great idea love, will get it installed when we go back home ok?" She says as she cuddles up to me.

"Blegh, I hate seeing lovey dovey crap like that…" Tanya says as she turns away to watch the enemy ship burn in the distance as we sail off towards Elbaf.

Three days later.

We finally started to see the shores of Elbaf and this island was massive for a reason everything on it was meant to be normal sized for giants so everything here was huge in comparison, the land, the plants, animals and building were all made to be massive in size making our ship seem tiny in comparison to the massive ships that the giants use to get around, there ships were at least the size of marine battleships and those are considered average sized boats to them, which are at least 7 to 8 times larger than the Inferno is right now.

Luckily because of the size of our ship we just came to be at level with the dock from the top of our deck.

But as we soon came to dock a giant came over towards us.

"This isn't the best of times for humans such as yourselves to be coming to our lands, we would welcome you with open arms but…" the giant of a man says before he turns back to his village which seems to be the primary main port village of Elbaf, Wolin seems to be this villages name.

"One of the great Hero's of the giants is dying, he wants to die a warriors death, but with his age he's grown to weak to even leave his bed so we don't know what to do, and none of the medicine we have can bring back any of his strength, it's only prolonging the inevitable…."

"Maybe I can help? I am a doctor after all, and if this old hero of yours wants to die a warriors death I may be able to give him the end he wants." (Theo)

"And how can you say your even better than the doctors we have here?"

"Have you heard of that so called famous doctor Hogback?" (Theo)

"Yea I have heard of his expertise, if he was here maybe he could do something about this, why you bring him up?"

"Because 2 years ago I had a battle of medical skill with him and we tied with eachother."

"And I Firebrand Vargas, one of the Warlords of the Sea can attest to that claim, it actua got so bad that they kept tying with eachother over and over again until they were just doing Rock Paper Scissors to see who was luckier and it still kept tying every time so if I say he's just as good as Hogback that must mean something."

He squints his eyes and pulls out a wanted poster that has my picture on it.

"You really are him! Well if you vouch for his skill then who am I to judge, come follow me to the old hero and see if you can do anything for him." He says as he begins to walk back into the village.

We just look at eachother, "Well it's not like we're strapped for time, let's go see this old hero of the giants." I say as we all sprint after the giant.

"I wonder if this old hero knows any history I could hear about…" (Robin)
