1 The End, The Beginning

"Where am I? Why am I in this blank void of nothingness?" all around me all I could see was darkness everywhere.

"And who am I? I can't remember anything...."

"Why your nobody, well at least for now your nobody." I turn myself to see a man, what I assume to be man covered in a gray cloak covering everything but his white gloved hands that were holding an weird looking book with characters and pictures all over it

"What do you mean by that exactly?"

"Why your dead of course, and everything that made you, you has been stripped from you." I was shocked at what I heard, but then he said, "Then again you weren't really anybody back in your past life, no lover, no close family left, you were all alone in the end, that's pretty sad if you think about it, but the only reason were talking is what you did after your death, and why your about to receive your reward from what you did."

"And what the hell can I do to my world if I was already dead?" I was very skeptical that I could do anything to effect the world after my death if I was truly a nobody back then as he says I was.

"Organ Donation." he stated plainly as he keep reading his book while not looking at my dumbfounded face.

"What? Organ Donation? Did one of my organs save someone important or something?"

"Ding, Ding, Ding, we have a winner folks." I notice him pull out a remote and press a big red button that then made the sound of a crowd of people cheering loudly in the background, he let it go on for about 10 seconds before shutting it off and throwing the remote away.

"....."

"Was that necessary?"

"No, but watching Universes being made and destroyed over the Eons you need to do something to stave off boredom, living forever sucks, but there are more forms of entertainment now then there were in the past." he says while flipping the pages in his strange book.

".... Well I guess that's true... say what are you reading by the way?" I move a bit closer to get a better look at the title of the book. "One Piece?"

"A Story that was made in your previous world, and the world your going to be reincarnated into." he says while still having his eyes(?) on the book

"Wait I'm just gonna turn into some storybook characters?"

"Its a bit more complicated than that but I'll give you the short of it too make it easier for you to understand, any story that has ever been made is a real world in of itself to some worlds like your old one its just a story but to the people who live in it, it is very real."

"Oookay? I mean I guess that makes sense?"

"Look kid I'm not gonna over complicate things and explain it all to you what I said should be enough for you to understand the world your going to go to is very real and if you don't take seriously will cut you down in a heart beat."

*Gulp*

He then finally closes the book and looks(?) at me but all I see is darkness so its very hard to tell if he's actually looking at me.

"Yes I am looking at you, and don't give me that surprised look I am A God after all and in here I know and see everything." he then opens one giant eye that takes up most of the area of where his face is. its more like a white outline of an eye with a triangle shaped pupil in the center.

"Your about to think something rude about my eye aren't you?" he then made a squinting look at me.

"... I'll be honest I liked it better when your eye was closed." I said to him in a matter of fact way.

"..... Well at least your honest, most lie through there teeth when they see my eye, congratulations you pass the secret test I had for you." he said while giving an expression that I can only describe as a cheeky looking grin.

"What test?"

"It's pointless to lie before a god so why try when they know everything in their domain, and yes that was a cheeky look I gave you there." he said with a amused look

".... Can you stop reading my mind?"

"Alright, alright I'll stop, anyway its time to move onto your reward for passing the test and what you did in your past life."

"What did I exactly do to earn myself this reward?"

"Well let's see you died in your late 20's of a...." he pulls out a clipboard and flips through the papers "... Gunshot wound to the head, Killed instantly, didn't even feel a thing, well this death is at least new to these reincarnation situations."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well about 90 to 95 percent of the time reincarnators are hit by a car or are run over in some way shape or form, the other 4 percent are either stabbing or falling to death with only 1 percent are shot down, killed in explosions, crushed to death or they die naturally."

"Why are so many people getting run over all the time?"

"Because its a reincarnation trope that seems to always need to happen for reasons even I don't know why."

"But aren't you God aren't you suppose to know everything?"

"I am A God not THE God that created everything I only monitor a portion of the dead souls going through reincarnation so I'm just a minor god but I'm still strong enough to crush you between my fingers if I so wanted to, but I have no need to." he said in a very relaxed fashion but also exuded a pressure that threated to crush me but was pulled away shortly afterwards, "Well that's surprising you weren't even forced to the ground because of that only bending your knees slightly, it seems you have a stronger will than I thought. Tell you what I'll add an extra bonus since you have a strong will for a recently wiped clean soul... but anyway where was I? Ah yes your question as to why your being rewarded."

"Well?"

"After your death your heart was used in a heart transplant that saved a teenagers life from heart disease that would have taken his life. he then went on to Stanford University to get a masters degree in science later on in life and was able to discover with help of a team of several others how to get fusion energy to work properly for both space travel and later commercial travel such as planes, boats and cars and the like for transportation cutting down greenhouse gasses that saved the planet from a not so distant future ecological collapse from happening. so in an indirect way you saved your world after your death by saving the life of someone more important than yourself."

I was shocked that such a minor thing like a heart transplant that saved the life of another could have that big of an impact on the world

"So because of that I have decided to reward you with several things before I send you one your way, First the obvious one sending you to the world of One Piece."

"What's so good about that?"

"Well beside it being a world of pirates and adventure, Well probably the most beautiful women to exist in a non Wuxia type world."

"Wuxia?"

"Chinese Novels all about cultivation with women who all look like the perfect women that all men dream of. But don't worry about that a majority of the women are extremely beautiful in the world of One Piece." he said with a grin

"Well now my interests have been peaked I know for a fact that I'm not gonna be alone in this life if I died that way in my previous one."

"Well good at least you have a minor goal to focus on, the second reward for you is that I'm gonna give you a system for your use to compensate for the fact you can't use the cheat items known as Devil Fruits in the world of One Piece, and before you ask what they are lets just say you eat them and they give you powers over nature and concepts but the system I'm giving you is something that makes those Devil Fruit mostly pointless."

"What is this system you giving me called?"

"Brave Frontier. Its based on a game of the same name from your old world that allows you to call upon and use the powers of the characters from the game and later when your stronger if you want to actually pull them into the world."

"That sounds insanely strong"

"It is, But also isn't, its all based on luck if you want to get any of the over powered characters or do quests in the World to possibly earn strong characters."

"So there's like a game with quest and the like in the world that I have to do to get stronger."

"if you want to get stronger as fast as possible doing quests is the easiest way though you won't get the quest function and the system to activate till you can start to remember things around the age of three or four at least by the time you can talk."

"Well I guess that's reasonable."

"And lastly how difficult you want to set your start as, who you will end up being because your first and primary appearance will be based on who you roll for, and as two added bonuses I'll give you two bonus rolls and one trait about yourself you wish to have or increase."

"How difficult my start?"

"In simple terms the easier the start the easier your life but it will take forever for you to get stronger and harder to get good characters, but a hard start means your life will be very challenging to survive but if you push through and do survive you will quickly get all the things you want in life and more."

"Hmmmm..." so I thought on it for a good long while then I made my decision "I want a challenge not the hardest start but challenging none the less."

"So not something on the level of Ultra Nightmare difficulty but on the level of Nightmare difficulty right?"

"Yeah nightmare difficulty sounds good for me."

"Alright now lets see what thing about you do you want to increase that will help you in one way shape or form?"

"Hmmmmm..... I think if I'm gonna go on adventures and deal with people I think I need to be naturally charismatic so I can deal with others and with my women and crew."

"Women? Plural? your planning on having a lot of women at the same time?"

"Yeah because I'm planning on having a big family that I never really had I guess."

"Hmmmmm.... well alright and I'll give you an added bonus just cause I like you kid." he said with a cheeky look under his hood

"Gee thanks." I said with a grin on my face

"Lastly time to roll for your possible future forms." and behind him three doors appeared all looking the same.

"Just push on them to see your possible future selves to choose from."

I nodded and went to the first door and pushed it open and saw behind the door stood a young man with dark red hair, red leather pants, leather fingerless gloves, a red sleeveless shirt covered in some partial metal armor while one handling over his shoulder a large claymore.

"Ahh seems you got one of the original starters from the game, Fencer Vargas."

"Is he good?"

"Well here see for yourself." he the handed me a clipboard with the pros and cons about Vargas.

Pros: Excellent swordsman, plenty of room for growth, can control and is immune to fire and anything similar, handsome.

Cons: Hot blooded and so are you, has no knowledge of sailing so neither will you, very weak to water based attacks, reckless.

"Hmmm...." Vargas has potential but in a world that is full of water he's not the best of choices so I went to the next door, but when I touched it shattered and turned into a new door that was darker and looked more like a vault door.

"Oh lucky you, you got an extremely strong summon."

Excited I went and opened it and behind the door I saw a skeleton dressed all in a armor that had a similar look to a captains outfit. he had a chain wrapped around his left arm connected to a big anchor hold in his right hand. his face mostly obscured by his helmet/captain hat with his eyes glowing in a ghostly bluish white light, and surrounding him are theses ghostly looking beasts surround him ready to pounce on his enemies.

"Cursed Anchor Dirk Rezo." I then looked over his pros and cons

pros: Undead, Excellent captain and navigator, summon and control the dead, ruthless to his enemies and so will you.

cons: Undead, not attractive/ no sex drive at least for the time being, humans naturally hate/ fear you, takes a long time to get stronger.

Rezo isn't bad as in a sense of he would be amazing on the seas and a nightmare to his enemies but it will take a long time for me to get women to fall for me if it takes awhile to get my body back.

and then I went to the final one which did the same and broke apart and turned into a Black Vault Door I guess my luck is really good I just hope I didn't use up all my luck by getting two extremely strong starters.

I went in saw a man with brown hair and blue eyes wearing something that was a in between of captains outfit and a nobles clothes all primarily in blue, red and with gold trim accents on the clothes and his hat with him pointing with water starting to form all around him with him holding a sword that looked like a mix between a rapier and a cutlass.

"Cerulean Knight Stein"

Pros: Can Control water, a decent sea captain and navigator, swordsman, extremely handsome, high prestige earned easily.

Cons: forces the start to set to Hard because how good looking and talented he is it is very unlikely he would have a hard life thus taking much longer to get stronger, not that much room for growth.

Stein sounds like he would be the perfect one to be but with how he is it would take much longer to get stronger and has a low growth ceiling as well.

"Take your time just tell me when your ready to choose who you want to become." he then went back to reading his manga while i pondered over my choices for awhile

(Several Hours Later)

After pondering over it I've finally made my decision.

"So who do you want to be?" he said with a bored look since he finished reading a long while ago.

"I choose..."
