As he closed the door behind him, he pulled out his transponder snail and made a call. "Hello?" The familiar voice said on the line. "Dragon, It's Prime. We need to talk..." Jack said as he rested his arms on his knees.

"What about exactly?" Dragon curiously asked. He could tell that it was about something serious based off Jack's voice alone. "I just freed all of the slaves on Tequila Wolf." Answered Jack tiredly.

Jack heard Dragon suck in a breath of air at that. Apparently this was a super big deal, but Jack didn't really care all that much. "That is definitely something we need to discuss. What happened?" Dragon asked seriously.

Jack explained the raid and how they killed everyone involved and even the hanging of the rapists. When he finished speaking Dragon asked, "So what is your next course of action?"

Jack had already thought this part out so he didn't need to wait as he said, "I need you to get in contact with the papers and spread word of the events, but say that the slaves were taken in by the revolutionaries. That way when the marines react to this, I won't have to deal with the Admirals or a Buster call."

Dragon thought it over and didn't see a problem with it. "I can do that. This will also keep Cipher Pol off our asses for awhile. They will think we did this and go there to search for us, but we won't have ever been here" Dragon said with a hint of joy in his voice.

"I'm glad it works out well for both of us. Can you get the word out soon?" Jack said still sounding tired. "Yeah I can have it printed on tomorrows paper. Anything else?" Dragon asked calmly.

Jack thought for a moment before he replied, "I don't know if all of these people want to stay on Dawn Island or stick with me, so if they want to go back to there homes, could you send some people to take care of that? I got a few crates of weapons I can throw in for ya."

Dragon laughed deeply for a few seconds before he responded with, "Consider it done. I'll send some ships there in 2 weeks to meet you." After thanking Dragon, Jack ended the call and and lay down on the bed and fell asleep.

(Smoker POV)

Smoker was sitting in a chair facing a nervous looking Tashigi. He lit a cigar and took a deep drag before he spoke, "Do you know why I want to talk to you?"Tashigi looked like she was thinking, but in the end just shook her head.

"This is about how you've been acting recently. I told you before that we were no longer marines and you agreed to follow me, so why are you acting like one?" Smoker asked as he exhaled a breath of smoke.

"I-I'm not. The people were suffering and I just wanted to help them." She said trying to defend herself. "It's not just that!" Smoker said angrily.

Taking a deep breath he continued, "Even before we joined Jack you always acted like you have something to prove because you are a woman, and you let your temper get the better of you. Jack may be young, but he has seen and experienced more than you could imagine. He has plans to change this world for the better and I want to be apart of it. Do you?"

Tashigi actually looked regretful for what she had done in the past, but she still tried to defend herself by saying, "But he killed those people!!" Smoker just shook his head then ran his fingers through his hair.

"*Sigh* You are to ignorant to want to help people" Smoker said tiredly. "Wh-!" Tashigi was cut off as Smoker continued, "Do you really think you can survive in this world without killing? I have killed, and I will continue to do so. Those people deserved to die and much more, they were not good people!"

Smoker looked her straight into her eyes as he said, "The marines are far worse. Although I've never been inside, I have seen where they send prisoners. In the great prison Impel Down, the marines torture people in hundreds of different ways. They only let people die during public executions' so they can scare the people to fall into line."

Tashigi turned to look away, but Smoker used his Devil Fruit to keep her attention. "I don't want to hear anymore righteous crap coming from you. I asked Jack to bring you with us because he truly wants to do good, but If you don't like it then you can leave. I want you to clear that head of yours by the time we get back to Dawn Island, and don't even think about spouting crap to Jack" Smoker said as he walked towards the door.

Before he left the room he said, "You have the potential to achieve great things in this world, but you are holding yourself back. Talk to Luke, he might give you the advice that I can't on how to move forward." As soon as he said that he left the room. Smoker walked up top on the deck and grabbed his chair and sat in the sun.

(Jack POV)

Jack was jolted from his sleep when he heard knocking on the door. "Come in" Jack said after he calmed down. The door opened and Luke walked into the room with Tashigi right behind him.

"What's going on here?" Jack asked as he noticed the depressed look on Tashigi's face. "Little miss Swordswoman wants to say something, and she was pretty sure you were either gonna kill her or not even hear her out, so I got dragged into it. My money was on ignoring her by the way." Luke said as he walked over and took a seat at the desk chair.

Jack cocked an eyebrow at that, then turned to to look at Tashigi. After a moment of silence he asked, "Well...? Aren't you going to say something?" She started to take some deep breaths to calm herself, but she was taking her dear sweet time about it.

"Look, I'm not into all the mushy crap and I'd prefer it if we skipped right over it to be honest." Jack added before she could say anything. He then got up from his bed and was about to leave the room, but before he could Tashigi practically whispered, "I'm sorry."

Jack stopped in his tracks and faced her once more as he asked, "Could you repeat that, I didn't quite hear you." Again she whispered, "I'm sorry." "One more time." Jack said as he leaned in closer. "I SAID I'M SORRY!!" Tashigi shouted loudly.

She was taken aback when she heard Luke laughing from over in the chair, then when she glanced at Jack she noticed he had an ear to ear grin. "After saying it three times you must be sorry" Jack said as he joined Luke in laughing.

Tashigi couldn't take it anymore and shouted, "Could you take this seriously?!! I wanted to tell you that I'm sorry for how I've been acting and that I want to stay with you!"

Jack and Luke both stopped laughing at that and shot a glance to each other before evil grins spread across their faces. "Tashigi I am shocked!!" Luke said trying to sound surprised while covering his mouth with one hand.

"To think that you would proposition the Captain..." Luke added acting disgusted. "NO WAI-!!" Tashigi realizing what she said tried to explain herself, but was cutoff by Jack. "I am flattered you want to stay with me, but I just don't see you that way."

"That's No-" Again Tashigi was cut off by Luke as he shouted, "REJECTED! That's gotta hurt. Don't worry Tashigi, I'm sure you will find love someday. For now you should just tell the Captain that you want to be friends and work for him fighting corruption."

Tashigi's face was bright red from embarrassment as she shouted, "I WANT TO WORK FOR YOU FIGHTING CORRUPTION!!" After she said that she ran from the room to get away from the mocking. When the door shut behind her, Jack and Luke both burst out laughing.

"Oh fuck that was awesome!!" Luke said as he wiped a tear from his eye. "You do know we could hold this over her head for a long time right?" Jack said as he sat back down on the edge of the bed.

They both laughed some more before they left the room to go above deck. Jack gathered everyone for food again, but as they were all eating he shouted, "Listen up!!"

Everyone paused what they were doing and the deck went quiet. "We are heading to Dawn island, and when we get there you can all do whatever it is you want. You can stay there and make it your home, or if that you have a home somewhere else then there will be people arriving there to take you to where you want." Jack paused to let that sink in.

"The third option is that you can join me and my organization. You don't have to decide right away, I'm only telling you now so that you can be put at ease and talk amongst yourselves to decide in the coming days. You can go back to eating now."

After his speech, Jack walked over and to where Nojiko was sitting with Nami and brought out a table and some chairs for them. Next he brought out piping hot premade meals and some whine and placed it in front of them as well.

At that moment Smoker walked over and sat down as well before saying, "I'll take one of those as well, but Rum instead of whine." As Jack placed the food in front of Smoker he mumbled "Spoilsport." Luke sat down next to Smoker and looked at Jack expectantly.

"We need to get a god damn cook already!! I'm the Captain, not some butler!!" Jack shouted angrily. "Can I get some food already?" Luke asked not listening to Jack's little tantrum. Sighing, Jack placed some food in front of him, and some in front of Tashigi who had joined them as well.

As they were all eating a little girl came walking over to them and asked shyly, "Excuse me, but what does your organization do?" Jack looked down at her and noticed her slave number. '3333? Isn't that the number the little girl who saved Robin had in the anime?' Jack thought curiously.

"What's your name?" Jack asked, trying to see if his guess was right. "My name is Soran" She answered. This was indeed the little girl who had saved Robin in the anime and if Jack remembered right, she was born a slave. "Where's your mother?" Nami asked as she looked around the other people.

"I don't have a mother." Soran answered sadly. "Well Soran, my organization will span the world and help people who are need. We stop criminals and we will do missions that we can get paid for, some of these missions might be to escort someone to the sky islands" Jack said to lighten the mood.

He mentioned the part about the sky island because he knew Soran drew pictures of islands in the sky, but never knew if it was real. At the mention of sky islands, everyone of Jack's crew were dumbfounded. "What do you mean Sky islands?" Nami asked skeptically.

Jack was still looking towards Soran as he replied, "The world is a strange and mysterious place. There are floating islands, islands below the sea that people can go to, and islands so far in the sky with their own sea. If I remember it correctly, there is even an island that surfaces from the sea every 1000 years here in East Blue. On the island there exists creatures people long thought extinct, and that's just here in East Blue."

Everyone was staring wide eyed at Jack, but he kept staring at Soran. "Do you want to see these places?" Jack asked her with a knowing smile. Soran nodded her head so much that it looked as though her head would fall off.

"I would love to go and see those places! I also want to see the island that rises from the sea with the strange creatures!!" Soran shouted excitedly.

"Well you are in luck, the island will rise in 2-3 years time. I'll take you to see it when it's time, but as for traveling the world, you will need to be much older. When you get her age, I'll let you go and explore the world, but for now you can stay with a friend of ours." Jack said as he pointed towards Nami.

"You're gonna see if Makino will take her in?" Luke guessed who the friend was. "Yeah, she loves children and I think she would love to take in Soran. Plus if she has Soran that might lessen my punishment when we get back." Jack said as he remembered how Makino was going to lecture him about women.

Smoker chuckled at Jack's words and said, "You're gonna need more than that." Jack frowned at those words because he knew they were true. 'I need to blow off some steam' Jack thought sadly. As if the universe had answered his thoughts, someone shouted "PIRATES!!"

Everyone looked around and saw a small dot off in the distance heading there way. Jack pulled out a telescope and saw that it was indeed a pirate ship. "DIBS!!" He shouted loudly for all to hear.

Everyone but Smoker and Luke were looking at Jack as if he was crazy. "Don't you look at me in that tone of voice! I called dibs on the pirates so they're mine, just like I called dibs on Nojiko." Jack said as if to answer their stares.

The last part got a scream from Nojiko, but Jack ignored it as he jumped in the air and started to use Moon Walk over to the pirate ship. A few seconds later and Jack dropped down from the sky onto the deck of the ship.

"Am I ever glad you morons showed up!!" Jack shouted happily as people swarmed the deck of the ship. "Who the hell are you and how did you get aboard our ship?!!" Someone shouted.

"You guys aren't very bright, you literally just saw me jump through the air and land on the ship." Jack answered in a mocking tone. Just then 3 men came out of the cabin of the ship, and the tallest of them shouted, "What the hell is going on here?!"

Jack looked the man over and couldn't place him. "Who are you?" Jack asked in a bored tone. "I am Stress Relief and I am worth 2 minutes of your life!!" Jack knew the man said something else, but that was all he heard. "Whatever Stress Relief, lets have some fun!!"

Jack shouted as he began jumping around and punching everyone into paste. Stress Relief didn't last the full 2 minutes, but Jack did feel better when he had killed everyone. Walking down into the ship he found a few thousand berries and a bunch of weapons and food.

The ship was too small to be worth much, and Jack still wanted to blow off some steam so he released small blue fire blasts in every direction like he was facing invisible enemies.

When the ship was almost engulfed in blue and red flames, Jack jumped high above the ship and sent down a pillar of blue fire that turned the remainder of the ship to ash. Feeling pleased with himself, Jack jumped back to the Dreadnaught with a big smile on his face.

He didn't even get to say anything when he heard Luke shout, "Dibs on the next pirate ship we find!!" "What the hell is wrong with you two?!!" Tashigi shouted as she left the area to go and train. "Seriously?!! That's all you guys have to say to what I just did?!" Jack asked dejectedly.

"Congratulations. You just took out the trash." Smoker said in a monotone voice. Jack looked over to Nami and Nojiko who at least had the decency to look awe struck, but his joy was short lived as Nami said, "Smoker that was badass!"

Jack just marched back to his room with a frown on his face. 'Lets see how they laugh when training begins!' Jack thought evily.

The rest of the trip passed with nothing exciting happening. They didn't see any ships during their journey until they got close to their destination. After a tiring 8 days they finally reached Dawn island and made their way to Foosha village.

When they got there everyone was excited to finally be able to leave the ship. "I'm so happy to be back in Foosha!" Luke said happily. "I'm so glad you feel that way, because training starts tomorrow morning at dawn. For all of you!" Jack said looking to all 5 of his crew members, not bothering to hide his joy.

"I take it back, I wanna get on the ship!" Luke said sacredly as he tried to turn around, but a hand grasped his shoulder. "We all must train to get stronger, no exceptions." Jack said as he pulled Luke back towards the group.

Just then Smoker spotted Makino walking towards the docks with a rolling pin in her hand and a serious expression on her face. 'This is gonna be good' Smoker thought happily. "JACK!! COME HERE RIGHT NOW!!" Makino yelled in a commanding tone.

"M-Makino?!! Before you do anything that might hurt me, I brought a child for you!" Jack shouted making Makino pause in her tracks. Jack grabbed Soran and thrust her into Makino's arms as he said, "She doesn't have any family and was a slave. Her name is Soran and she needs a place to live, so I told her that you might be able to do it!"

Added Jack as he backed away out of Makino's reach. Sure he could just turn intangible, but Makino liked to spoil them, and he wasn't about to miss out on that. Plus she was too nice anyway.

Makino left with Soran in hand after promising a lecture later. Jack led all the freed slaves to an area that the villagers had set up for them. Jack said that they could all stay here and decide what it was that they wanted to do, but starting tomorrow they would have to work for their meals like any other person.

After having settled the people, Jack made his way to Makino's bar where the rest of his crew were already waiting. When everyone found out that they would be waking up at dawn, they were all moody, but Jack wasn't hearing any of it. "I'll see you ladies tomorrow!!" Jack said as he went upstairs to his room to sleep. 'Finally get to move forward!' He thought as he drifted off to sleep.
