113 Whitebeard arrives, the start of the war!

All around the world, people voice their opinions on the execution and if Whitebeard will really show up. A few doubt his strength due to his old age and the number of the Marine forces. Others, who personally met Whitebeard and even retired from piracy just by being around him, think otherwise. Even children know of Whitebeard's raw strength and sing a playground song about him. Meanwhile, the inhabitants of Marineford, a city where the families of Marines reside, have been evacuated due to the coming war. On the Sabaody Archipelago, monitors have been set up to broadcast the execution to its inhabitants as Ace arrives at the execution stand. The patrol ships sent to deal with Whitebeard's forces are sunk and never heard from again. Thus, Marineford is understandably on edge as the three hours until the execution count down.

John Giant rallied his forces as a staggering one hundred thousand elite troops prepared for battle. Fifty Marine ships are stationed around the island, with cannons lining the coastline. The remaining Warlords of the Sea are at the forefront of it all. Ace is located atop the execution stand at the rear of the island. Watching over him are the three Marine Admirals, Kizaru, Akainu, and Aokiji. With this, nearly every justice force imaginable is gathered, waiting for Whitebeard to make his move.

The Warlords were missing a figure and that was Ghost The Black Swordsman who resigned from his position prior the announcement of Ace execution.

While they were waiting, Sengoku took the opportunity to make an announcement to the Marines and the world that Ace's father is none other than Gol D. Roger himself.

The order is given to prepare for battle as Sengoku looks on in surprise at the fleet of pirate ships approaching the base, all being led by pirate captains that have achieved infamy in the New World and have come to support Ace, much to his surprise. The Marines, however, withheld firing on them, trying to locate Whitebeard himself.

There was moment of silence before the soldier started noticing something coming from the water of Marineford Bay.

"I see a shadow in the bay!" Everyone looked in anticipation.

"I get it now! They got all their ships coated and approached from underwater!" Sengoku stated in surprise, before waves erupted and water started splashing around as a big shadow appeared underwater.

Just like the anime, the Whitebeard's main three ships, the Moby Dick appeared from below the water in a move than no one expected.

"T-There are three Whitebeard Pirates Ships!"

"They've infiltrated the bay!" As the three ships made it to the surface, the coating went off, and the Whitebeard Commanders were clearly standing in their ship's deck.

"…1st Division commander--Marco!" Someone exclaimed.

"14 commanders--…They're all here!" Everyone looked in surprise even Ace who was sitting in the execution stand all wrapped in chains and shackles. Shortly after Whitebeard emerged from the main ship.

"I can't believe that we let them get this close!" Sengoku said in shock while standing near Ace.

Standing tall and gracefully on top of his ship, Whitebeard carried a smile on his face "You better tell me that my beloved son…is all right, Sengoku"

"Whitebeard"

"Gurararara! Just wait in there, Ace. I'll get you in a second"

Ace looked like he was in an inner conflicted "Oyaji!!"

Whitebeard proceeded to thrust his naginata into the ship's surface before he used both hands to crack the air in both sides, causing a massive earthquake that generated a tsunami.

*CRACK*-*CRACK*

"An earthquake, he's distorting the sea!"

The three Admirals, Aokiji, Akainu and Kizaru sat calmly on their chairs. Just as everyone though that the tsunami would come crushing down at everyone. Aokiji quickly jumped from his seat and in an instant, he froze the entire sea.

"Ice Age!"

Whitebeard's smile didn't fade away even after seeing that "Aokiji, you little snot"

"Ice Block…Partisan!" Immediately after that, Aokiji created several spears of ice by solidifying the cold air around him, but before he could lunch them Whitebeard used his tremor attack again, cracking the air and shattering the spears along with Aokiji himself who turned into small ice blocks and fell into the sea in the bay.

But as Aokiji's body hit the water, he immediately froze the entire place along with Whitebeard's ship.

"FIRE!!" As the Marines received orders, cannon shots were fired at the pirates, the Whitebeard Pirates did the same and they also used the cannons on their ships to fire back while other ones steeped into the ice ground and charged towards the walls.

Seeing that, the Vice Admirals finnaly moved. Vice-Admiral Momonga, Vice-Admiral Onigumo and Vice-Admiral Julius. They all proceeded to attack the pirates.

"Don't think you can get pass these walls so easily" Julius declared as he flew on top of the charging pirates using Geppo before he unleashed a torrent of deadly, sharp and extremely fast crystals at a wide range, risking dealing serious damage to the enemy attackers.

"The World!" Luckily three people quickly interfered, it was Vista who used his swords to deflect some of the projectiles, and Emma followed by Kuro. Emma proceeded to create a time bubble around the pirates, slowing time and giving them the opportunity to dodge while Kuro used his Stealth Foot to deflect some of them.

"I'm really surprised at this turn of events…" Kuro said as he adjusted his glasses with the palm of his hand "Just a few months back I was relaxing in East Blue, and now I'm participating in one of the greatest conflicts of this age"

"You can go back in hide in the ship if you're that afraid" Emma said with a smirk trying to tease him, but Kuro remained calm before he replied.

"Don't underestimate me, I might have longed for a peaceful life after getting tired of being on the run. But that's no longer my desire, I can see more potential in the seas of the Grand Line after sailing through them" Kuro stated before he finally added "Don't worry Captain…I've got your back"

"Glad to hear that!" Emma said before she prepared for her next attack "Chrono Strike!" She temporarily accelerated her personal time, enhancing her speed and reflexes and along with Vista they clashed with Julius. The other Vice Admirals joined in as well as the other Whitebeard Commanders made their move.

The battled raged on as the marines and the Whitebeard Pirates clashed, but the Warlords seemed to be quite so far, that is until Mihawk suddenly pulled out his sword 'Yoru' and sent a massively powerful sword slash towards Whitebeard.

*SWOOSH* The slash easily cut through everything in its path while destroying the ground along the way, it was truly an attack befitting the second strongest swordman in the world and the rival of two Yonko. Even though the duels between Mihawk, Ashen and Shanks ended in draw, and he was technically better than them in pure swordsmanship, but his defeat to Ashen prior to that made him question his right to carry the title of the strongest swordsman in the world. So, until the day he defeats Ashen he won't call himself that.

So, the current holder of the strongest swordsman in the word is none other than Yonko Demon of The Sea Ashen. Though Ashen himself doesn't call himself nor care about that title.

*BOOOOM* Jozu with his body turning to diamond proceeded to catch the sword slash and throws it into the sky creating a bright green explosion. At the same time Admiral Kizaru appeared above Whitebeard.

"Yasakani no Magatama!" Kizaru crossed his arms in front of him and used both hands to fire a torrent of deadly light particles.

Whitebeard narrowed his eyes at the sight "Hoi Hoi. that's really bright, you know"

Quickly after that Marco flew in the air, stopping Kizaru's attack. Whitebeard had a proud smile in his face.

"He blocked the Admiral's attack!" Someone exclaimed.

"What is that? He's covered in blue flames!"

"You can't just…go straight for…the king, you know-yoi!" Marco said with a grin as he was covered in blue flames.

"You Whitebeard Pirates sure are scary!" Kizaru said, before Marco turned into his Zoan form and flew towards Kizaru and kicked him away, sending him crashing into a wall.

*BOOOOM*

"Kizaru-san!"

At the same time, Jozu threw a giant iceberg towards the plaza, just as everyone though it was going to crash down, Akainu got in his feet and created a giant fist of magma and evaporated the iceberg.

Akainu also sent a few projectile magma fists at Whitebeard ships after that. But some of them didn't hit its target and vaporized the ice in the bay, turning it into a boiling water and forcing the pirates to move out. The giants also finally moved and made their attack.

Seeing that, Little Oars Jr. also joined the battlefield, using the marine ships around as projectile weapons, throwing them around, before he clashed and easily overpowered the other giant and made his way towards the plaza.

Suddenly, Kuma lets loose an Ursus Shock from his Nikyu Nikyu powers, creating a tremendous explosion that wounds Little Oars Jr. greatly. Ace looks on in horror, begging him to stop knowing that Little Oars Jr.'s size makes him an easy target and that he would never make it.

Unfortunately, he gets hit hard by cannon fire and begins to double over. As he does, Little Oars Jr. notices Doflamingo and tries to take him out, slamming at him with his fist. Doflamingo manages to avoid the attack, flips over Oars, and uses his ability to cut off his right leg in the process, laughing all the while. Despite this, Little Oars Jr. desperately continues to advance towards Ace. Just as he is within inches of grabbing Ace, Doflamingo attacked him yet again with his ability, easily decapitating him. The Whitebeard Pirates look on in horror as Little Oars Jr. falls, while the Warlords of the Sea give off different reactions, and Doflamingo laughing amusingly.

Doflamingo continues to find the whole thing hilarious, which catches the attention of one of the Division Commanders.

Whitebeard, meanwhile, looks on grimly at what just occurred, prompting one of the Giant Squad Vice Admirals, Lonz, to take advantage of his distraction and attack him. Whitebeard, however, subdued him easily with one hand, using his earthquake power, much to the shock of the Marines who are stunned that not even a giant can best the Yonko. Whitebeard then ordered his troops to take advantage of the path Little Oars Jr. gave them and charge into the plaza, to which the pirates quickly comply.

Meanwhile, Luffy and the Impel Down escapees are trapped atop one of the frozen tsunami waves created by Whitebeard and Aokiji's powers. Luffy tries to talk the others into pushing the boat so that it will slide down the back of the wave. Before they do, though, the Den Den Mushi on board intercepts the order, which is to just ignore the schedule and execute Ace then and there. Panicking, Luffy tells the others that they need to hurry. Ivankov performs his Hell Wink in hopes of shoving the battleship off of the wave. However, instead of sliding down, it is knocked forward, flipping upside-down and sending all of the inmates plummeting towards the sea.

Having also received the order, Koby and another marine soldier started to panic, but before they can react, the two noticed something falling from the sky.

"What's that?" The soldier pointed out.

"Something's falling from the sky"

"Is that a surprise attack of the Whitebeards?!"

"AHHHHHH!!!" x20

Ace and the Marines see it too. As the object plummets closer to the ground, it is revealed that it's none other than Luffy and the escapees descending from above.

"I said that you were doing it too much!" Buggy exclaimed.

"It's because of his wink!" Crocodile said.

"Is it my fault, Croco?!" Ivankov asked.

"Doesn't matter, we're gonna die! It's frozen all over down there!" Luffy said, as everyone was falling down "Oh! I'm a rubber man so I'll be fine!"

"I shouldn't have listened to you Straw Hat, damn it!!" Buggy yelled.

"ACE!!!"

…

A while later,

The war was kept going and was broadcasted across the world. After Luffy and the rest of the Impel Down escapees made it to Marineford and with their help and the help of Whitebeards Pirates Luffy eventually managed to free his brother Ace.

Luffy and Ace also reunited with Emma and the three of them proceeded to make their way out. But in a sudden twist of event that no one expected, Akainu managed to easily provoke Ace and pulled him into a fight.

Akainu then used the opportunity of Luffy's distraction and attacked him with the intent of killing him. Emma tried to pull back Luffy using her time fruit, but Kizaru interfered before she does that and sent fast light beam that managed to cut her right hand off.

"AGHHH!!!" Emma screamed in pain and to her horror she saw her left hand lying on the ground. Luffy didn't have the time to comprehend the situation before a magma fist was about smash him down…that is until a figure jumped right in front of it.

It was Ace and the punch created giant hole in his chest while burning his insides.

Seeing the situation Kuro quickly used his Stealth Foot to grab Emma and retreat "That is why you should always have an ace up your sleeves…sorry I didn't mean it that way" he said before he adjusted his glasses with the palm of his hand.

Dozens of marine soldiers surrounded them after that. Emma looked out of the world seeing Ace suffered that fatal injury, even she denies it she knows deep down that no one can survive with a hole in his chest. She was very shocked and in no condition to fight.

"Be careful! She's Emma Helios, an upstart supernova pirate. She used to be a crewmember in the Spade Pirates and the Whitebeard Pirates" A Marine Captain stated, the situation didn't look good for them, but Kuro maintained his calm demeanor. That until two more figures showed up for their support.

"Gin, Desire…About time"

Two crewmembers of Emma appeared, it was a relatively lanky, average-sized man with short, scruffy hair and slight stubble. His eyes are surrounded by dark rings, he was Gin a previous member of the Krieg Pirates.

And Desire (Bartolomeo's childhood friend) and former Captain of the Sweet Pirates. Desire is a woman with red hair that resembles Bartolomeo's hair in shape. She wears a long blue coat resembling those of Japanese street thugs, with the skin having pictures of the ocean on it and the kanji in pink in the back. Underneath, she wears a traditional Japanese Sarashi binding and frilly light blue pants with the letter "S" in the center. She also wears dark red heeled boots and carries a metal pipe.

"Retreat, we'll cover you!" Gin said to Kuro who was carrying the injured Emma on his shoulder, before he leaped forward at his enemy with one of his tonfas swinging and landed in a crouched position, slamming one of them down onto the enemy, crushing his skull "Demonic Dance!"

"You won't get past us that easily!" Desire also proceeded to clash with the marines using her metal pipe as a weapon.

"…"

"Ace!" Luffy shouted as he took his brother on his arms "Hey, are you alright? Hey" Luffy asked him before he glanced at his hand and saw blood.

"I'm sorry, Luffy…"

"Huh?"

"Could you tell them…what I'm about to say now?" Ace said to luffy as he could barely raise his voice "Pops, everybody and you Luffy, thank you…for loving someone like me who is good for nothing…and who has such bad blood in his veins…up to today"

Tears started falling on his cheeks while saying that "Thank you!" Luffy started crying as well, and after a moment of silence Ace's eyes went lifeless.

He smiled one last time and died, falling from his brother's arms as the last fragment of his Vivre Card burned away. Luffy remembered when Ace punched him on the head in the past for crying when he thought Ace was dead, after which Ace made a promise not to die and leave his weak little brother alone. Kneeling by his brother's body, Luffy raised his head and howled in anguish.

Before Akainu can pursue Luffy to finish him off as well, Whitebeard, enraged at the death of Ace, appears behind him and punches Akainu to the ground, greatly wounding him. Akainu retaliates, burning off a portion of Whitebeard's head with Meigo. Unfazed, Whitebeard slams Akainu aside, injuring him further and, in the process, causing an earthquake that demolishes Marine Headquarters base and splits the plaza in half. This act separates the Marines and the pirates, isolating Whitebeard from his crew. Sengoku is astonished that Whitebeard still has so much power despite his injuries, while Whitebeard states that he is not finished yet.

The pirates, meanwhile, retreat to their ships. In the midst of the chaos, the Marines notice a shadow behind the ruined Marine Headquarters building,

"Hey, look! What is that?!" A marine soldier exclaimed, as the shadow of giant figure appeared in Marineford.

"There is something behind the HQ building!"

"Oh, they found me!" Said an extremely massive man that easily dwarfs other giants.

"Not only him! Who are they on the scaffold?"

"…"

"Oh…They noticed us finally" Blackbeard said, a wicked smiled creeping his face.

"It's you! How did you all get here?!" Sengoku asked.

"You bastard" Whitebeard narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists looking at him.

"They're the most heinous criminals whose existence has been erased because of their brutality" A marine stated.

"He's the biggest of all livings! A Pirate--'Great Battleship' San Juan Wolf!'"

"Oh, not only am I found but they know who I am!" Wolf said.

"'Corrupt King' Avalo Pizarro!"

"I missed being back on the street-nya!"

"'Heavy Drinker' Vasco Shot!"

"Toputoputopu--*Hicup*!!--Am I allowed to kill them all?"

"'Crescent Moon Hunter' Catarina Devon!"

"Murunfuffuffu! Can't believe how much you guys want it"

"The son of the previous Yonko Big Mom and one of her strongest and most trusted officers, Charlotte Oven!"

"This world shall witness the true power of the Charlotte Family once again" Oven declared with his siblings standing behind him. Charlotte Mont-d'Or, Amande, Custard and Angel.

"And the Jail Manager of Impel Down, Shiryu of the Rain!"

"They're the Blackbeard Pirates!"

Everyone was shocked at their presence. Including the previously mentioned people, there was Jesus Burgess, Van Augur, Laffitte and Doc Q.

"Zehahahaha! Long time no see! I'm glad that I'm present at your death...Oyaji!" Blackbeard said while laughing manically.

"Teach…!" Whitebeard looked at him in hostility.

As the battle between the Whitebeard Pirates and their allies against the marines raged on, Ashen deliberately took his time to arrive late. He did not want to risk his presence causing a massive change of events that might result in Ace and Whitebeard not dying. Ace in the eyes of Ashen was someone with huge potential who is wielding the Supreme King Haki that might get in his way in the future if he lives and might even become the new Captain of the Whitebeard Pirates. And if he somehow does survive, killing him afterwards will bring the wrath of the entire Whitebeard Pirates and their allies and fighting will cause unnecessary casualties.

So, it was best for Ashen to appear right after Whitebeard's death. As for Luffy he's also the same as Ace, except that Ashen knows that he would wage a war on Kaido in the future. After all, taking down the Straw hats would be easier than to start an all-out war with Kaido that has an army of 40,000 pirates, and Ashen wants to save manpower as much as possible for the finale war. Even if Luffy gets defeated he would do that after weakening Kaido and will give Ashen the perfect opportunity to attack.

"Jihahaha! Looks like we'll make it in the perfect time" Shiki said while smoking a large cigar. He was standing near Ashen.

"Let's have a majestic entrance, shall we?" Ashen said looking at Marineford from the top of his ship with excitement.

"The world shall witness the true power of a Yonko today"

"Ashen, can I ask you a favor?" Calvin asked Ashen looking extremely famous. Normally he wasn't the type to show any emotions but right now he was so angry that his veins could explode.

"You probably want that guy dead, right?"
