Water 7 (II)

Viper's group arrived at Galley-la, and saw a man with a long square nose. Luffy's eyes widened "USSOP?!" Ussop chopped Luffy's head and said "I'm right here!" Viper chuckled and the man said "I guess we do look a little bit alike... Anyways why are you here?"

Luffy said "We're here to find a guy named Ice-house." the square nosed man said "Ice-house? Do you mean Iceberg?" Luffy nodded and said "Yeah! Do you know him?" the man said "Of course he's the mayor! Everybody knows him." Luffy didn't really care what Iceberg was and said "Can you take us to him?" the man nodded and brought the group to Iceberg.

Luffy and the rest stopped in front of a man and a woman, Luffy said "Ice-park is a girl?!" Ussop chopped his head again and said "It's obviously the guy!" Viper chuckled again and the blue haired man spoke up "I'm Ice-par... Iceberg. Nice to meet you, can I help you?" Luffy nodded and said "We need to repair our ship! Some granny gave us a letter to find you." he handed Iceberg the letter and Iceberg read it before tearing it up with a disgusted look on his face "She left lipstick on it.." he sighed and said "I'll help you fix your ship, Kaku can you take a look at it please?" Kaku, the square nosed man nodded and jumped into the air, flying away. Viper stared at him go for a few seconds and said "That's extremely strange..."

The woman said "Straw hat Luffy, King of the Serpents Viper, Pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro, and Devil child Nico Robin. Quite the sizable bounty for your crew." trying to draw Viper's attention to her, Viper looked towards her and Luffy said "Yeah! We're pretty good huh?" he put his hand on Iceberg's shoulder and said "So Ice-lettuce, do you know any places around here with good meat?" the woman kicked at Luffy, Viper grabbed her foot and pulled her collar near his face and muttered "Again?" Iceberg said "Kalifa! Stop kicking people."

Kalifa broke away from Viper with a slightly blushing face and said to Viper "That's sexual harassment." Viper frowned and said "No it's not. If I grabbed your ass or your ti-"

Nami clamped her hands over Viper's mouth, and said "I'm sorry, he's an idiot!" Kalifa was silently staring at Viper with a red face and just dumbly nodded, nobody had ever spoken like that to her before.

Viper removed Nami's hands and said "Can you not? Obviously she doesn't know what sexual harassment is, what if she actually gets sexually harassed one day?" Nami took her hands back and said "Well, I didn't think of it."

Kalifa said "You'll teach me so I won't get into trouble?" she teared up slightly.

Iceberg watched all of this stunned and mumbled "What the fuck is going on today?"

Viper taught Kalifa what sexual harassment was and a man with a bird on his shoulder walked towards the group, dragging another man behind him. He threw the man he was dragging in front of Iceberg and the bird on his shoulder spoke "Iceberg, Paulie was stealing money to pay off the loan sharks again."

Iceberg sighed and looked at Paulie "Paulie, when are you going to stop gambling?" he turned to the man with the bird and said "Thank you Lucci." Lucci nodded and just stood there, staring at Viper, who was still talking to Kalifa. Viper noticed him out of the corner of his eye and analyzed his appearance, remembering it, before focusing back on Kalifa.

Viper finished his explanation and Kalifa hugged him and said "Thank you." before breaking off and smiling, he smiled back and said "No problem, anytime." Kalifa blushed and nodded, before going back to Iceberg's side.

Iceberg said "Eh? Weren't there four of you? Where did the long nose go?" the group looked around and noticed Ussop was missing.

Paulie spoke up "I saw him get dragged off by Franky's goons." Iceberg sighed and Nami said "Franky? Goons?" Iceberg explained that there was a ship dismantler and his goons wear black armor with a star on it, while he was explaining Kaku returned and said "I'm sorry to say this but your ship can't be fixed. The keel is cracked." Iceburg sighed and Luffy snapped and said "What do you mean?! Just replace it!"

Ice burg said "You can't replace a cracked keel, you would have to rebuild the whole ship. The ship would look the same but it wouldn't be the same." he took out a catalog and handed it over saying "We can give you these ships, have a look and let me know. I'm sorry there's nothing we can do." Luffy took the catalog and rolled it up before leaving, Viper sighed and said "Thanks for everything Iceberg. If we make a decision we'll come back." Iceberg smiled and said "It was nothing, I can tell you guys must've really loved your ship."

Viper smiled and said "Yeah we did." he glanced at the three shipwrights and said "Well, i'll be on my way, have a nice day!" and followed after Luffy. Lucci and the other two watched him go.

Viper caught up with Luffy and Nami and said "I don't like this island, it gives me a bad feeling. I think we should get a new ship, get everyone and leave." Luffy said "A new ship?" Viper nodded and said "Luffy, i've been with you since the start right?" Luffy nodded and Viper continued "From Shellstown, to here. I was there when we first got the Merry and I've seen all the damage she's taken. It's already a miracle that she managed to get us here." Luffy was silent and Viper continued "I like the Merry but she's finished. She brought us here with sheer willpower, and I think it was her last ride. Despite all the memories we have with her, she won't make it to the next island. If we sink in the middle of the ocean, we'll all die." Nami said "Viper you can't ju-" Viper cut her off and said "I don't think of myself as the first mate, because I think Zoro is a better fit, but I have to make something clear. The Merry is a ship, and she's unable to carry us anymore!"

Luffy said "If we we're more carefu-" Viper grabbed his shoulders and said "No. It's not your fault! The Merry was made to sail the blues, not the grandline! You need to make a decision! We all decided to follow you. Even if you decide to keep the Merry, I will follow you, even if I know i'll die." Viper let out a breath and let go of Luffy.

Luffy looked at Viper and smiled "Thanks Viper." Viper smiled and said "Glad to have you back Cap! You being quiet is kind of unsettling hehehe" Luffy laughed and Nami smiled, and the group returned to the Merry.

The group arrived at the Merry and met the rest of the crew. Luffy said "Ussop's missing. I'm going to the Franky house." Viper, Sanji, Zoro, and Chopper all followed after him. The got to the Franky house and saw Ussop lying on the ground with cuts and bruises, covered in blood. The group grit their teeth and walked up to the door. Luffy stretched his arm back and slammed the door down.

Inside the Franky house, the Franky family was partying, when the door flew across the room and slammed into the ground. They looked to the doors and 5 figures walked in, one of the goons said "Who are you? Are you with that long nosed loser? If you want the money, it's already gone! Hahahah" Luffy punched the goon sending him flying through the wall and said "It's not about the money anymore." Viper transformed and the group started to wreak havoc, until the building collapsed burying the Franky family goons. The crew left, picked up Ussop and returned to the Merry.

Chopper was treating Ussop, while the rest of the crew was sitting at a table in the galley in silence. Sanji took a drag from his cigarette and said "Robin's missing too." Viper rubbed his temples and said "Another problem? I knew I had a bad feeling here." Zoro and Sanji said "What do you mean?"

Viper explained what happened at Galley-la and about the three shipwrights and finished "They moved like they were extremely well trained. I think they might have something to do with Robin being missing, I also think Aokiji is behind this as well. I don't think it's just a coincidence that we met Aokiji and the next Island Robin goes missing." he sighed and said "After Ussop wakes up, i'll go look for her." The rest of the crew nodded, and returned to silence waiting for Ussop to wake up.

Ussop opened his eyes and sat up on the ground, he turned his head and saw everyone looking at a book. Luffy noticed Ussop was awake and said "Hey Ussop we're getting a new ship come look! I was looking at some of these ships and we can get a much bigger one!" he held up the book and showed Ussop.

Ussop laughed and said "Hold on, don't you think this joke has gone on a bit too far? Look even Chopper believes you!" Chopper was just standing there. Luffy said "It's not a joke. We're getting a new ship. The Merry brought us here, but it's time to part ways."

Ussop said "It's because I lost the money right? It's fine I can just sell some of my equipment! Viper can I borrow some dials? I'll pay you back when I get more money!" Viper sighed and was about to say something, but Luffy held up his hand and said "It's not about the money we're just getting a new ship."

Ussop said "If it's not about the money, then why can't we just repair it?! Just tell me it's my fault we can't fix the Merry!" Luffy snapped and said "That's not it! The Merry can no longer be repaired!"

Ussop paled and said "Impossible!" Luffy said "It's true! The people at Galley-la said so! Her keel is cracked, she will sink!" Ussop yelled "You listened to some first-rate shipwright's sale pitch and believed him?! We're standing on the Merry right now!"

Luffy said "We will sink if we continue!" Ussop grabbed Luffy's collar and screamed "You're going to abandon a wounded friend just because someone told you so?! Why are you acting like a Captain now?!" Viper frowned at that last comment and tapped the table with his knuckles, Zoro frowned too, and the duo shared and glance, communicating silently.

Luffy said "Even if she's a friend, she's still a ship! Ships and people are different! There's nothing we can do!" Ussop said "I can repair the Merry myself!"

Luffy tackled Ussop to the ground and said "We're leaving the Merry and getting a new ship! I decided and if you don't like it you can just get of-" Sanji kicked Luffy across the room and said "Do you know what you we're about to say?!"

Luffy sat up and said "I'm sorry Ussop, I didn't mean to-" Ussop cut him off and said "It's okay Luffy, that's how you really feel isn't it? If you can abandon the Merry, then abandon me too."

Luffy said "What are you saying?!" Ussop said "You don't need weak crew members on the Pirate Kings ship. Now that I thing about it, all that's keeping us together is when you asked me to get on your ship in Syrup Village." he got up and walked to the door.

Sanji said "Where are you going?!"

Ussop stopped and said with his back facing the crew "I'm leaving the crew." Nami gasped and Ussop turned around and said "Tonight, 10 pm we'll have a duel. Whoever wins gets to keep the Merry." and walked out of the door.

Nami, Sanji, and Chopper chased after him, but stopped right before the door. Viper smashed his fist on the table and broke it in half and screamed "ENOUGH!" the three turned to him and Viper continued "Where do you think YOU'RE going?" Nami said "To get Ussop" she turned to Luffy and said "You're the captain, aren't you go after him!" Luffy was silent and Viper said "Did you not hear what he said? He left. Forget about him." Viper turned to Sanji and said "And you. Why did you kick Luffy away?"

Sanji snapped "Do you know what he was about to say?!" Viper nodded and said "So?" Sanji was taken aback and Nami said "What do you mean so? Wasn't he your friend?" Viper said "Was." and became silent.

Luffy spoke "Let him go. He left." Nami was shocked and teared up, before running out of the galley, Sanji and Chopper followed her. Viper stood up and walked over to Luffy and gave him a hand, pulling him up from the ground. He looked at Zoro, who nodded and turned back to Luffy and said "Sometimes being a captain is hard. You have to be stronger than everyone else and make decisions that hurt. You made the right decision, if anything me and Zoro support you. I'm sure the rest will as well." Zoro nodded and said "You have to believe in your decisions. We'll support you till the end."

Luffy got up and looked at his swordsman and scientist and smiled "Thank you guys." before he walked out of the room. Viper and Zoro watched him go, Viper sighed and said "Up for a drink?" Zoro grinned and said "Always." and the duo walked out of the room into the kitchen.

Viper was drinking across from Zoro and said "This is a problem that we don't need right now." as he pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. Zoro put down his cup and said "If he doesn't have any respect for the Captain, it's better if he leaves and doesn't come back." Viper chuckled and drank from his cup before saying "Good luck trying to get that through to anyone else." Zoro chuckled and shook his head, as he drained his cup.

While they were drinking, the rest of the crew walked in. Sanji started making food and the rest sat down next to Viper and Zoro. Nami said "You two really don't care?" Sanji paused and the air froze as the crew looked towards Viper and Zoro.

Zoro slammed his cup on the table and said "Why should we? If he doesn't respect the Captain it's better if he leaves. We we're just talking about it." Viper decided to help Zoro out and added "The captain can be your friend, but he is also an authority figure. Whatever he says goes, if Luffy told me to burn this whole island to the ground I would do it. I followed him, not the other way around." Zoro nodded, silently agreeing.

Nami was silent and said "Would you like it?" Viper frowned and said "It doesn't matter. If I didn't like it, I would leave. I can assure you, while it doesn't feel good that Ussop left, it doesn't change the fact that a captain must demand respect." Zoro finished for him "Or the crew will fall apart." Nami silently contemplated as Sanji returned to cooking, he sighed and said "Nami I'm sorry but this time they're right. While I think Luffy went a bit too far, he still needs respect." Nami mouth opened slightly and Viper put the final nail in the coffin "With all the problems we have right now, we need to stay together. I hope i'm not stepping on Luffy's toes saying this but If you feel the same way as Ussop, then leave." Viper looked towards Luffy.

Luffy was silent and stared at Viper and Zoro, before he nodded. Sanji said "I'm not going anywhere, you bastards are stuck with me." grinning slightly trying to lift the mood, Chopper nodded and said "I'm staying too, you guys are my friends so.." Viper smiled and rubbed his hat.

The rest of the crew looked towards Nami, she sighed and smiled "I still need to keep watch over you all and my money, so i'm staying too." the rest of the crew grinned at her, and had a nice meal. Viper was eating and said "Oh fuck, I forgot to go look for Robin. Should I go after the fight?" Luffy froze slightly, as he just remembered the fight, and said "Wait till after." Viper nodded and joked "She probably got lost in the library or something." the crew chuckled and waited for the clock to hit 10.

A while later

Luffy was standing on the ground in front of the Merry, while the rest of the crew were on the Merry. Viper was sitting on the railings and Chopper was sitting on Viper's head, Viper yawned and mumbled to himself "I really hope she's okay.." completely thinking about something else.

Ussop showed up and Luffy rushed towards him and was about to punch him in the face, but Ussop coughed out blood and Luffy stopped. Ussop smirked and shot a tabasco star at Luffy, before he shot a smoke star and blew it up with a flame star. Luffy threw a punch at Ussop's stomach and frowned when he didn't feel anything. Ussop grabbed the impact dial that was there and slammed it at Luffy sending him flying. Luffy got up off the ground and had enough, he punched Ussop in the face and sent Ussop flying. He walked over to him and said "Why would you fight if you know you can't beat me?" he turned around and said "You can have the Merry. Goodbye Ussop."

Luffy landed on the Merry and the crew packed all their things, Viper hopped off the Merry and full transformed, the crew hopped on his head and Viper flew away, not even glancing at Ussop once. Ussop struggled to get up and limped to the Merry and teared up "It's just me and you now Merry..."

Viper flew through the air and landed at a hotel, he dropped them off and said "I'm going out to look for Robin, if I find her i'll bring her back. If I find anything else... well i'll come back as fast as possible." the crew nodded and Viper took off.

Viper was looking down on the city from above, scouring each and every single street. He went to the top of the city and circled around the Mayors house, he frowned when he saw Iceberg collapsed, he reverted and smashed through the window, landing in Icebergs office.

Iceberg looked up and saw Viper he sneered and said "Come to finish me off?" Viper frowned "What?" Iceberg said "Nico Robin was just in here and tried to assassinate me, obviously you've come to finish me off. Why else would you be here?" Viper frowned and sat Iceberg up and said "I honestly have no idea what you're talking about but if I really wanted to kill you, I promise you you would've been dead this morning."

Iceberg frowned, he didn't need to hear that, Viper said "You saw Robin? Do you know where she went? Also what do you mean she came here to assassinate you? What she here alone?" Iceberg ws confused and said "She came alone, and said she was here to kill me and she just left." Viper chuckled and said "And she shot you? You realize if she truly wanted to kill you she would've used her devil fruit power right? Also she has no motive, why would she kill the Mayor for no reason?" he just shook his head.

Iceberg chuckled to himself and said "I like to believe I have some worth in being assassinated" Viper chuckled and said "Yeah, a super nice guy, the citizens would be devastated hehehe" Iceberg smiled and said "Then what happened?" Viper rubbed his chin and said "I don't know, I haven't seen her all day. Something came up or else I would've found her before you got shot. By the way, where did you get your secretary and Lucci and Kaku?"

Iceberg frowned and said "They came to me. Why?" Viper sat down on Iceberg's desk and said "Something was bothering me, they seemed extremely well trained. Kalifa's kicks seem like second nature, and Kaku's 'flying' looks familiar.. Also have you ever seen a shipwright that knows how to fly?" he chuckled before he turned grim "The one that really worries me is the guy with the bird, Lucci." Iceberg said "Why? They've been with us for years. Their expertise is genuine."

Viper nodded and said "I'm not doubting that, Kaku's analysis of our ship was right, she can't sail on anymore, but I can't see why they would be so well trained and work at a shipyard. And Lucci? That man is a monster. I can feel it. Iceberg, they're hiding something from you, I suggest you be extremely careful around them." a voice was heard "You really are too smart for your own good."

Viper and Iceberg turned around to see Robin, with a big man in a mask. Viper frowned and said "This one is new, but I assume you're all in the same group? You, Kalifa, Kaku, and Lucci?" the man took off his mask and the door opened as all the people mentioned entered.

Iceberg's eyes widened as he said "Blueno?! And the rest of you were spies?!" Viper's expression turned grim, he calculated a way out that would get Robin and Iceberg to safety.

Blueno, the man who had just taken off his mask nodded and said "Correct." Viper frowned and tried to buy himself more time "What's your motive? I don't see a viable reason why you must assassinate Iceberg? I also don't see how framing our crew, by using Robin works to your advantage." he shook his head.

Kalifa said "You really are extremely intelligent, our reports say that you rival Vegapunk." Viper chuckled and said "That's really a stretch, I couldn't even figure out how to get a devil fruit into a weapon, they always collapsed after only one usage." he made an explosion with his hands, as his mind was turning at a thousand miles a second.

Kaku said "Usage?! You mean paramecia?!" Viper nodded "Of course, in addition to Zoans, Paramecias and Logias can be eaten as well. So far they've fallen apart after one usage, I made a glove eat a tree fruit, it grew a sapling and completely fell apart. So please don't compare me to Vegapunk, the difference is too much." the entire group was absolutely shocked, they had never heard of this before. Kaku said "What about now?" Viper waved him off and said "I stopped, my research is too dangerous. Someone once told me, if i completed my research and someone stole it and replicated it, it would be chaos. Imagine, even if the World government knew how, and some pirate killed some agents or marines with several powered items, it would tilt the balance of power." the group shuddered at the thought. Viper continued "I'm sure Vegapunk came to the same conclusion, and that's why there are barely any devil fruit weapons. Also I don't want to follow in Vegapunk's footsteps, I want to make something new!"

Kalifa stared at Viper in astonishment, she could tell he was telling the truth, she blushed and mumbled "Wow, he's amazing..." the group all turned to look at her, bewildered.

Kaku turned back to Viper and pressed on "If you come with us, we can give you everything you need! You can even talk with Vegapunk himself! Maybe you can make what you want a reality!" Viper smiled and said "While I do appreciate the offer, and I know that you can make that happen, I won't abandon my crew, or rather my family. My apologies, truly."

Kaku sighed and nodded "It's fine." Viper chuckled and said "'We'll just capture you instead' am I right?" Kaku smiled and nodded. Viper laughed and shook his head "Seems like I don't really have a choice.. Can you at least tell me who you are and why you want Robin? We're going to the same place right?" Kaku looked to Lucci, who nodded and said "We are a special force of the World Government, called CP9. We operate as spies and fulfill missions normal marines can't. We have the authority to kill citizens. We need Nico Robin because she can read Poneglyphs, as for Iceberg.. Well he didn't have what we were looking for so, it's typing up loose ends."

Viper nodded and said "So infiltration and sabotage, to whatever outcome is favorable towards the World Government?" Kaku smiled and nodded, Viper rubbed his chin "But aren't you treated like dogs? Doesn't that bother you at all? I don't mean to offend you, I am simply curious is all."

Kaku was silent for a moment before saying "To be honest, it does but we we're trained by the World Government as kids, some of us we're saved from... unfavorable situations."

Viper sighed and said "Sorry, I didn't mean to bring anything up."

Kaku waved his hand and said "Don't worry about it."

Viper said "Would it be possible to trade myself for Robin and Iceberg's life? I will come willingly, instead of you having to capture me." he smiled and tilted his head.

Lucci said "We can leave Iceberg alive but Nico Robin is non-negotiable." Viper frowned and said "Just because she can read Poneglyphs? Is that really a big threat to the World Government? As far as I know, the Poneglyphs only have information on the void century, the ancient weapons, and the road to Raftel, and they are extremely well hidden and protected." he shook his head and continued "One woman can't find all of them herself. Or are you saying the crew itself is too dangerous?"

Lucci didn't like how Viper was leading them around and draining all this information, he said "Enough. We've talked long enough, you won't buy anymore time." Viper sighed and held out his hands "I'd like Robin to cuff me please." Lucci allowed it and Robin made her way towards Viper with cuffs in her hands.

Robin was right in front of Viper when he suddenly put an arm around her waist and grabbed Iceberg and crashed through the window. He threw the duo up in the air and full transformed, before shooting off in the night, leaving the CP9 agents stunned. Kaku said "That kid is amazing..." Lucci growled and snapped "He led us by the nose, extracted all sorts of information and bought time to plan an escape.. FROM US! GO AFTER HIM!" Kaku chuckled and jumped in the air chasing after Viper.

Viper was flying in the air and said "Iceberg, I'm going to drop you off at the hotel where the rest of my crew is, go inside and tell them everything that happened. I'll distract the CP9 agents." Iceberg nodded and Viper flew over the hotel, he hybrid formed and flew to a balcony where Zoro was and left Iceberg before shooting off again.

Viper transformed again and made a little noise to alert whoever was following him. After confirming, that he was still being followed, he started flying faster.

While Viper was flying, Robin said "Why?" Viper said "Why what?" she said "Why come after me? Why reveal your research? Why put yourself in the cross-hairs of the World Government?" Viper chuckled and said "Very simple. Because we're family. Do I need another reason?" Robin teared up and said "I'm not worth it.."

Viper frowned and said "You're wrong. When you decided to join the crew you became family, and it further solidified in Skypiea. I don't think you understand, by stepping on our ship you bring everything on with you. Your burdens, your fears, and your insecurities. Nami, stole our ship and 'betrayed' us when we're in the East blue. The rest of us took her burden and put an end to her fears, it will be the same here, whether your fears and enemy is one person, a group, or the entire world." Robin was completely shocked but shook her head and cried, Viper just sighed and added "You can't fathom, Luffy's determination for his crew mates." and he kept silent and he flew around the island.

Viper dived down and transformed into his hybrid form before flying through a few alleys and several houses and reverting to his human form and hiding in an abandoned house. He covered Robin's mouth and regulated his breathing, trying to be as silent as possible. He took a glance out of the window and saw several figures shoot past him. He frowned and sat back down, he whispered to Robin "We're gonna have to sleep here for the night. I'll keep watch, just get some rest. I'll figure out what to do tomorrow." Robin nodded and Viper laid her down under the window, so that she was out of sight and sat next to her, he could see the entire room and out the window slightly. He kept watch until morning, as Robin slept.

The next morning

Viper had bags under his eyes as he vigilantly, kept watch out of the window and all other entrances and exits of the house. Robin's eyelids fluttered slightly and she woke up, she saw Viper looking out the window and towards the other end of the house, before he looked at her and smiled. He said "Did you sleep well?" Robin nodded and Viper said "Good. I think it's safe, for the moment, we should go." he picked up Robin and walked towards the door.

Viper opened the door slightly and checked outside, noticing the coasts were clear he silently opened the door and dashed towards and alley. He stopped and frowned "I don't like felling like a trapped rat.." he started moving withe Robin in his arms.

They moved from alley to alley, before Viper ran into a clothing store, he bought Robin a cloak and a mask, he bought the same for himself. They walked outside, most of the citizens were dressed the same for the Aqua Laguna celebration. Viper held Robin's hand and they disappeared into the crowd.

Viper was leading Robin to the crew, while simultaneously looking out for any suspicious figures in the crowd, in buildings, and on the roofs. They finally made it to the crew and saw that they were fighting a man who had blue hair and was wearing a speedo. Viper frowned and brought Robin towards Luffy and the blue haired man and said "Stop fighting! Who is this?" Luffy blinked and said "That's Franky and I'm Luffy, who are you?" Viper took off his mask and said "Luffy we need to leave right now!" Luffy looked troubled and said "What about Ussop and Robin?" Robin took her mask off as well and Viper said "Not to be rude but fuck Ussop, we have Government agents coming for us! We nee to leave right now or else-" a voice cut him off "Or else what?"

Viper sighed and turned around to see Kaku and the rest of the CP9 agents, he chuckled grimly "Or else you'll find us." Kaku laughed and said "I have to say, you really are excellent! You escaped from us for a whole night! If it wasn't for Lucci suggesting to come to where your crew was, we wouldn't have found you two." the crew were shocked and Iceburg said "You hid from CP9?! And would've succeeded?!"

Viper wasn't as happy and frowned instead, he said "What were you planning to do to them?" Lucci waved his hand and said "We have an agreement that we can't kill them, but we can hurt them." he suddenly sighed and stared at Viper and said "It really is a shame that you're not in CP9 though. Nobody has ever escaped under our nose before, and with a prisoner at that!" Viper frowned and said "While I appreciate the compliment, now is not the time. What are you going to do now?"

Lucci said "Capture you of course, oh and Franky as well." Franky pointed to himself and said "Me too?" Lucci nodded and said "Yes, Cutty Flam." Franky was shocked, and Luffy said "Did you ask me before you decide to take my crew members?" Luffy shot towards Lucci and the of the crew got into battle positions and started fighting CP9.

Viper put Robin behind him and silently backed up, he whispered to Nami "Do NOT use Nimbus, unless you kill the opponent, or are desperate." Nami whispers "What am I supposed to do then?" Viper said "Play damsel in distress. They WILL take Nimbus away from you. I didn't work so hard for it to land in somebody else's hands." Nami frowned, but nodded anyways.

Viper took off his cloak and mask and threw it to Iceberg and said "Put this on and merge into the crowd, stay safe I will try and send a message where we will be going. Aqua Laguna is tonight correct?" Iceberg put on the cloak and nodded, Viper said "We might take a train tonight, is there a judicial island nearby?" Iceberg put the mask on and said "Enies Lobby." Viper nodded and said "When I confirm the information, I will leave a message. Help the rest find it." Iceberg nodded and disappeared into the crowd to watch from a distance.

The CP9 made quick work of the crew, their team work was flawless, it was simply too easy to over power the crew. Viper mumbled "Maybe separated they will win.." Luffy was sent flying by Lucci, who had popped out from one of Blueno's doors and surprised him. With Luffy gone the rest of the crew were finished off. Viper watched every part of the fight and analyzed each of the agents' style and habits. He wrote it all down on a book he had behind his back, Robin was watching him write without looking and read the contents and was shocked. The amount of detail was extremely specific and abundant, Viper ripped off the pages and folded them, slid them behind his leg and stepped on it.

The agents looked towards Viper and Robin and Kaku appeared next to Viper and said "Hey! Let's go." Viper chuckled and said "You're certainly chipper." Kaku said "I just like talking to you actually, usually I don't get to talk to the others, Lucci is always angry and the others are just strange." Viper chuckled and jumped along with Kaku flipping the paper up Nami's skirt with his foot. The other agent's didn't notice but Robin did.

As they landed on the building, Viper said "So where we going? And can we eat first?" as he held his hands behind his back and smiled, the agents were all standing in front of him so noone could see his back.

Kaku said "We're going to Enies Lobby, but we're taking the sea train later in the night..." he turned to Lucci and said "I'm actually hungry too, can we eat?" Lucci sighed and rubbed his temples and said "Fine." Viper and Kaku smiled and the group left. As they were leaving a piece of paper, floated down from the roof and landed in front of the crew. Nami took out the folded papers and read them, she was shocked at the detail and saw the paper that was floating down, she grabbed it and read 'Enies Lobby. By sea train, later tonight. No specific time.' Iceberg showed up and read the letter and said "I know when that train leaves, let's wake everybody up." Nami nodded and got to work.

A while later Viper was sitting in a train cart with Robin and Franky, Kalifa walked in with a plate of food and a drink she put them in front of Viper and said "I thought you might still be hungry so I brought you something..."

Viper blinked and smiled at Kalifa and said "Thank you Kalifa." she blushed and ran back to the cart with the other agents. Viper turned to Robin and said "Seriously. Am I really that attractive? This is the second time now."

Franky said "This happened before?!" Viper chuckled and said "We were on a Sky Island and an angel fell for me, she kissed me before we left." Franky was shocked at that information "Sky Island? Angel? Wow." Viper chuckled and started eating, he shared with the other two.

Robin had a bite and said "Honestly after what you just did, from Iceberg's office to slipping the last note of where were going, if I didn't know you liked someone else, I think i'd fall for you too." Viper choked on his food, and stared at Robin, bewildered. He said "Really?! I didn't think it was that impressive.."

Franky scoffed "It probably wasn't, Rainbow hair." he turned to Robin and said "What did he do? I refuse to believe it was enough to get the enemy to fall in love with him."

Robin chuckled and explained everything in great detail. Franky's mouth made an 'O' shape and said "WOAH! That was SUUUPER cool! If I was a girl i'd fall for you too!"

Viper almost threw up at the thought and said "Please Franky, I'm eating." Robin giggled and Franky snapped "Oi! Rainbow hair! I'll have you know I would be a hot woman! Even if I wasn't I can just modify my body."

Viper perked up and said "Excuse me? Did you say modify?"

Franky nodded and twisted his forearms, revealing guns and said "I'm a cyborg."

Viper's eyes shined and Robin rubbed her forehead "You have got to be kidding me..." Franky turned to Robin and said "What?"

Robin chuckled and pointed at Viper and said "He's our crew's scientist, but he's more interested in robotics... I hope you like being a test subject." she giggled and Franky turned back to Viper, who was drooling staring at Franky as he mumbled "Robot.." over and over again. Franky said "I'm not even on your crew! How could I be a test subject?!"

Robin said "I forgot to mention Viper get's a feeling about certain people who eventually join the crew, he trusts them 100%. So far he hasn't be wrong, and since he didn't kill you for calling him rainbow-hair I guess he got that feeling from you too." Franky groaned and Robin added "If it makes you feel any better, the CP9 agents compare him to Dr. Vegapunk."

Franky's eyes widened and he said "This kid?! Compared to Vegapunk?! Impossible! Vegapunk is the greatest genius to ever live!" Robin smiled and listed everything Viper has come up with and made. Franky listened as he tried to keep Viper away and got more and more astonished. He knocked Viper out and said "Did he really come up with all that?" Robin nodded and Viper woke up, he looked around and frowned "Why did I suddenly lose it when you said you were a cyborg? That was strange... Anyway Franky my name is Viper nice to meet you! What important asset do you hold to be in here?" Robin giggled and Franky said "I don't know."

Viper sighed and said "If you don't want to say that's fine." as he went back to eating. Robin whispered in Franky's ear and said "He's also extremely intelligent, I haven't seen a single person fool him yet."

Franky said "That seems like a challenge." he smirked and moved closer to Viper and said "Hey, Rainbow head, wanna see how I power up?" Viper turned and nodded, Franky opened up his abs and a cola fridge was there, Franky said "I'm powered by cola wanna know how?"

Viper looked at him and poked a few places and said "You have a system, that separates the carbon dioxide from the liquid and transforms the molecules into their gaseous form, to power your body. I assume the excess liquid is also.." Viper began explaining his thoughts and Franky mumbled dumbly "No, actually that sounds like a way better system than the one I have now..."

Robin watched them and giggled, as the train made it's way to Enies Lobby.
