15 Chapter 15: Dreadnought Rotor
Arriving at Aegis Island, I see that it didn't seem to change even after 3-years. The only thing that catches my eye is a group of many teenage fishermen who also arrived from the shore with their catch, and the parading soldiers from the nearby road. Although this island is wide and big, I recall there are only few teenage soldiers enlisted from the last time, while counted with only one hand from the fishermen flanks.
If my guess is right, this people are influenced by none other than my two friends─Jarvan and Jirod.
Anyway, because time is of the essence I immediately rush back in our home, however, father is not present and only mentioned by Jiyah that he had an appointment to attend to.
No one knows who he had appointed with, but because it was him, I wouldn't have to worry. After all, I can line him up with few small fry pirates such as Don Krieg if its about raw strength. Adding with his wits and intelligence, there's no one in the east blue that could threaten him, now that Arlong Pirates was defeated.
Anyway, knowing that he isn't here I immediately went in his workshop instead. Its also a place where my ship is located.
Jiyah happens to know and always updated about his work as she's his self-proclaimed number one fan and always looked up to.
I don't know how a little girl like her had a crush on my father in that regards but, oh well, she knew that my ship has already finish since last year but because everyone is prohibited to enter there, only my father's two trusted aid has an extra key and responsible in this workshop next to him.
After a few minutes of walk, we finally arrive and one of those two trusted aid of father, opened the door and is about to exit but after noticing me and Jirah together, he only smile and greeted me. "Welcome back, young master. I recon you're here for your ship?"
Then, he reopened the door and guides us, "I actually come and go in here every other day to maintain its newly build and fresh appearance when your father is absent. He really valued it more than anything, especially knowing that you will return home in a few years time. He valued it like his second son. He said that no matter what, it should maintain its brand new and intimidating appearance"
Hearing his words, I can't help but looking forward to this ship of mine.
Arriving in the said area, I can't help but breathed cold and long thin smoke overwhelmed bested me.
This area is created for the sole purpose of hiding this ship from unforeseeable enemy. But even with only few lights opened, I could see its grandeur appearance, as if I'm a bird looking at this masterpiece.
Although not as grand as other pirate ships in this world, this ship has strong and intimidating looks than any other ships.
Dreadnought Rotor
That is the name of this ship that me and father provided even before its final completion.
Outer appearance wise, I made it looks like my world's navy ship. A dreadnought ship itself but much smaller in size, but because pure metal won't do me good during my adventure, we've made it to feasibly and freely sail on all seas.
Combined with few strong metals, the strongest wood and a hull made of sea prism stone.
Combined with skills of a Mechanic, this dream ship is finally find its completion and is a perfect ship for me.
Just at its appearance alone, I could see that this thing is what made the world acknowledged me, Rotor D. Sikorsky, to be one of the greatest. I sure am, with its double artillery in front is enough to intimidate any pirates and navy that could sunk them into the deepest seas if they blocked my path.
Looking at at, I couldn't stop as we've directly look inside.
Just like how my rough blueprints instructed. It looks like the normal pirate ship with its deck and mast but what it divides with other is the room located below its back mast.
A control room. Just like a ship in my world, in this room is where all of the mechanics, helm, and controls are located. Although there's a manual control in every weapon this ships had, in this room, every crew can gathered on one spot and create a plan and even virtually controlled all of the available weapon. Such as the double artillery in front, the side canon and the machinegun attached from atop of the back mast.
There's also an individual room for 5 people and a workshop. But because I decided to give them an inventory created by myself, every room has a double deck. There are two separated toilets, shower and of course the dock responsible of the ship's gear below.
To not looks like the copyright of Thousand Sunny, I made the dock a rectangular shape and wider, and instead of Gear, I used roman numerals and called it [Form(s)] instead. Although for now, it only hand one form which is six wheel paddle. I will attached another for the later use if I think its necessary. There's also a storage room but because I myself is a storage, I can use it as another room. Maybe a prison cell?
Anyway, because it had high technology compare to a normal ship, there are things that my father inserted without my approval. father's colleague only give me the paper manual and I couldn't help but sneer while reading it. There are things that he added I am unfamiliar with, and even the idea and technology I once told him.
I'm looking forward sailing off right now. But well, after checking, we decided to leave the area first.
Right now, I have to announce that I soon will become the pirate. And because Aegis Island is directly affiliated with the World Government, its inevitable that I should have to cut ties with everyone in this island. After this decision, I don't know what would happen to them anymore, but I can protect them if the world itself acknowledge my power. There's no stopping after this!

A feast.
The same night when Sikorsky arrived on Aegis Island. The elders and even the mayor─father of Jiyah, decided to make a feast to announce Sikorsky's return and at the same time, his farewell.
Although he hasn't realize it yet. His father already flaunt to everyone that he'll someday set sail unto the sea and become the pirate.
That is, the moment the Dreadnought Rotor is completed.
Other than his trusted aid. Almost every elder in the Island knew this plan of Sikorsky, other than majority of people, his friends also know this decision of his.
"So, you'll going to depart tomorrow? Goodluck then!" It was the much bigger and wider Jarvan who said the word, following which is much and taller Jirod as the three, fists bump.
Unlike the past Jarvan, he is now a commanding captain responsible for hundreds of soldiers. Of course right now, he is currently a full pledged soldier and not a militia anymore.
Unlike navy who is responsible of every renegade, soldier has only one goal: ,Peace and Order from the nearby lands. Although not all the part of east blue, it would prevent most of vile people to get the information of Aegis Island and simultaneously stops them.
Thanks to this, Marines who focus what's in the Grand Line, Soldiers of Aegis Island didn't venture much and instead focus on Aegis Island as its protector.
Anyway, next to Jarvan is now the much taller Jirod.
At first, Sikorsky couldn't believe that its actually 3 years had past since then. But then, he accepted the fact thanks to this sudden changes of his childhood friends. Appearance wise, this two is now more of an adult than in the past. On the other hand, Sikorsky didn't even change one bit. But of course he's much stronger now.
Jirod lived happily at the current moment and will soon to marry the unnamed woman from the same island. Thus, Sikorsky is looking forward to be his first child's godfather.
"For real!? You will return just to be my child's godfather!?" Whilst Jirod couldn't help but cry out of happiness.
Uhm, Sikorsky nodded "That time, I might have the highest bounty ever, what do you think?" he flaunted. After all, his target is not just a great pirate but also the greatest pirate ever. The name that resounded throughout the history, through out world and couldn't be forgotten.
"I've become a legend that whoever's hear my name, they'll cower in fear and retreated, kekekeke" He laugh menacingly which made the two nodded awkwardly. But noticing something is amiss, Sikorsky asks "Why its only the three of us? where is Jiyah? I'm sure she's with me the last time"
The two look at one another and shrug their shoulder. This made Sikorsky disturbed and ask, "You think she's angry?"
Again, the two shrug their shoulder "Dunno, but I'm sure she will appear out of nowhere. But how'd you think so? She's with you for almost a day, right? I didn't find any reason why she hated you though? Maybe she's already full and return home due to overeating?", whilst they laugh.
Although she looks gentle and repose, she too is a gluttonous fella during their meal time, the same reason why Jarvan and Jirod think of Sikorsky and her as a perfect match.
"Now that you mentioned it, I'd never saw her ate that much when Sky is around!" It was Jirod who find it weird with his lips whispering on Jarvan's ear.
". . . ." Jarvan looked at him with poker face.
This time, Sikorsky already left the banquet and return home after thanking the elders who are responsible of making this grand farewell. He never thought it turned out to be like this but well, he don't have a choice but to attend in the end.
Evening came, and Sikorsky couldn't sleep at first as he had something in his mind but finally, his thoughts drifted into nothingness and realize that it is dawn already.
