It's already been a year, huh since I started training these brats I got quite attached to them, for a while I even forgot that this was an anime.

In the past year Luffy has progressed significantly, he has already mastered the basics of his devil fruit. While Ace and Sabo have been trying to master their martial arts, Sabo has mastered a little of his dragon claw but it's nowhere near ready yet, ace has been trying to master the martial arts I've been teaching him because my martial arts alone is on a whole other level compared to this world.

I've mastered every modern martial arts kickboxing, jujitsu, Muay Thai you name it.

I've also been trying to master haki but, except for observation haki I got nowhere even with my observation haki I can barely sense 5m around me well, that's understandable I'm practicing against kids that are at the age of 11 and 8.

As for my devil fruit well, nothing changed except I can control it better and faster, I've also decided that I'll be teaching the trio for 4 more years after that, I'll go out to sea to get my crew and travel the world help my crew out with their goals or whatever they want and, also help some people here and there then, do what I want to and be free.

( - Alright alright I hear you free is the same theme as Luffy, but No trust me kenji's and Luffys free are completely different )

For the past year I've also built up my relationship with Dadan, she fully trusts me with the trio and I also help Dadan and her bandits get their food, she even comes sometimes to check up on the trio and we even talk sometimes while watching the trio.

Regarding Ace, Sabo, and Luffy's training, they've just been doing daily exercises after that they'll work on their martial arts/devil fruits, and on the nights they spar against each other that's basically what they did this whole year.

The trio was done with their sparring, and I told them to sit down for a bit.

Now I'll tell you guys about the powers in this world, the trio's faces instantly lit up, and they looked at me with intrigued faces.

Now let's begin with the one you guys are familiar with the devil fruits, the devil fruits are fruits that grants their user superhuman abilities such as stretching like luffy or being able to control fire, you even have a devil fruit that lets it user turn into a bird.

you have 3 types of devil fruits, The three types are Logia, Zoan, and Paramecia type fruits.

Logia-type Devil Fruits allow their users to create, control, and transform their body into a natural element, such as sand, smoke, lightning, and even darkness, you also cant kill a logia type with normal means, because if you try their whole body will just reattach back.

The users of Zoan-type Devil Fruits gain the ability to transform into a specific animal.

and the paramecia-type Devil Fruits grant their users a wide variety of superhuman powers,

Then teach luffy is a logia type right sabo asked, hmm yes he could be but some devil fruits like the paramecia type act like a logia type.

teach I have another question you said you can't kill a logia type with normal means then how can you kill them?

well, if you want to know how then you have to work as hard as you can, when you guys are ready then I'll teach you.

the trio nodded, but just looking at Luffy's expression tells me that he barely understood anything, well its understandable Ace and Sabo are the smart ones after all, especially Sabo he just asks what he wants to know and understands thing fast, while Ace is the quiet type but it's slowly changing, and about haki, I can't teach them just yet they're too young, but I do plan to teach when they're ready that should be in a year or two.
