The Goro Goro No Mi

(A Day After)

As I woke up the next day, ready for some good training, I made my way towards the forest.

As I made it to my training field, I transformed into my beast form. I want to branch out into other elements to deepen my abilities. for today, I'm going to focus harnessing the sun's power to have fire breath.

As I face the tree, I concentrate on the sunlight being absorbed inside my body. As I gathered the fire inside my mouth, I waited for a moment before breathing it out. That moment was short lived, because the moment it went out of my mouth, it exploded in my face.

I guess I'm going to practice it.

It has been 10 hours since I started training my devil fruit. I now have the ability to hit the tree in front of me, even thought it doesn't do much damage.

When I started to head home, I realized I have no food and I started looking for some fruits.

As I activated my observation and started looking around, it took me a while before I found some fresh avocados. Something was weird though, in the fresh batch of avocados, I could see an oddly shaped one.

As I jumped up and I stuck my hand through the tree, I finally got hold of it.

It was a dark blue avocado with black swirls. One thing that really surprised was that the stem was a light blue lightning bolt.

I was certain this was a devil fruit. If I had to guess which one though, it would be the Goro fruit otherwise known as lightning fruit. That lightning bolt stem really gave it away.

This is so good! I could give this to Enel to further strengthen my eventual crew! I raced over back to town to give the fruit to my longtime friend.

It took me around 5 minutes to get to the town. I bursted into Enel's house and burst into his room.

"Enel I got something for you".

"What is it", Enel retorted.

I pulled out my fruit from my pocket. Enel saw it and immediately remembered the night when he saw with another weird looking fruit.

"Is that one of your sorcery fruits", Enel screamed as he got up from his bed.

"Yeah, and I want you to eat it", I replied.

Enel came up to me and snatched the fruit. I wanted to tell him how bad it tasted but as I was too slow.

"This tastes like shit", he yelled out!

It has been a few days since Enel ate devil fruit. I have been helping learn his abilities. He became proficient in his lightning transformation. He also became adept in generating lightning. His output isn't as big since he just got it but as time passes on, he going to become a real threat.

I also showed him that he is intangible due to his fruit abilities.I also told him due to my "spirit energy", I could still touch him. It has been so hard making up new terms for everything. I also been thinking how Enel would interact in the real world downstairs.

On another note though, Enel and I wanted to spar to test Enel's mastery over the fruit.

I tranformed into my hybrid form, not wanting to take any chances. I unsheathed my sword as well. Enel also brought out his staff too.

we stared down at each other briefly before the fight started.

Enel conjured some ligtning from his hand before launching it at me.

I imbued my armament into my sword, making my blade black, and deflected it. It seemed like Enel saw this due to his mantra.

"You got to teach me how to wield spirit energy", Enel shouted.

I smiled before rushing over to him with my darkened sword. Th eonly way I'm going to beat is with my sword. The hybrid form is just for durability in this case.

It seemed like Enel wasn't going to back down that easily because he dashed out of the way at the speed of lightning.

It was like that for the whole day. Enel couldn't conjure enough lightning to hurt me significantly while I was too slow to hit him. Two counters to each other. It is okay though, I'm going to train 10x harder in order to become superior
