1 Chapter 1: A Different Place
Birds chirping, a river flowing, and lush green trees as far as the eye could see.
This is what a man awoke to.
"The fuck?" The man managed to get out, his voice is raspy and deep. Deeper than what he remembered.
The man panicked slightly, he was in a different place than where he went to sleep to. Searching his memories, he remembered that before he awoke in this strange place, his name was Zac. He was a pretty average guy: not going out of his way to make friends, and reading most of the time. He read because he loved to be immersed in the story, the adventure in the books.
That's it.
He loved to read because he wanted an adventure. So much so, that in order to saturate his lust for an adventure, he even read manga. A form of Japanese comics, popular worldwide. His favorite being One Piece due to the fact that people fought for their morals, and what they believed in. Well, at least most of the people. There was also the fact that-
[Host, please stop reminiscing. There is a time and place for everything, but not now.]
"Huh?" Zac was slightly startled, jerking up a bit, not believing he just heard something. Maybe he had a few screws loose in his head? Yeah, that's it...
Fuck it, let's try it.
"Can you please repeat what you said?" Zac spoke aloud and in a respectful tone. He didn't know what the fuck was going on and did not want to piss of the wrong person.
[There is a time and place for everything, but not now host.]
"Host?" Zac questioned.
[Yes you are my host. I am what you call a system. My job is to guide you in this world.]
"Can you please elaborate?"
[One of the Higher Beings found your will for an adventure admirable and decided to grant your wish! Your wish for adventure, but in your favorite fantasy world! ONE PIECE!!!]

Hey hey, if you find this story somehow, please give me advice on what I should do. I already have a rough idea, and it's to place him in the middle of the Rocks era, with him joining Rocks D. Xebec. I thought that naturally, "Zac" would do this due to his will for an adventure. And knowing that it took Garp and Roger to kill Xebec, he would think it would be one hell of an adventure. I know this was short, but all the next chapters will hopefully be 1000 words or more.
