27 Chapter 27 The Truth (1)
{Flashback 2.5 Years ago}
With an annoyed face, Kaido walked out of the pit but his steps halted when he saw a lot of people gathered around him.
"He's…Kaido of the beast pirates!"
The people around immediately recognized the figure before them, a fearful look on the faces, being in New World they definitely knew one of the strongest pirate in New World.
"Hmm…huh this Haki…?"
Kaido eyed the people around him with bored eyes but suddenly in those eyes surprise appeared, a long sensed yet familiar haki appearing in his range, eyes immediately landing on the figure in front, bald head and a burly figure, a golden axe on the shoulder.
"It's been a long time…Kaido!"
Seeing the eyes of Kaido focused on him, Boris let out a wry smile as he greeted in a helpless tone.
"Worararara!!! Well~ if it isn't a familiar face…Boris you bastard!!!"
The memories of past flashed in the mind of Kaido, recognizing the figure before him, laughing out but anger could be sense in his tone.
{Some moments later}
"Run away, Captain Boris!!"
"We may die today but... there are a lot like us left around the world who need you alive, run away!!"
"Don't let our sacrifice go in vain!"
A huge blue dragon could be seen on the Island, spewing out fire breath destroying the terrain completely, the members of Funeral Pirates all rushing and attacking the blue dragon, no fear of death in those eyes.
"Splash!"
An unwilling Boris with an emotional look on his face, jumped into the sea swimming away, the blood rinsing down from the wound on his chest leaving a huge red trail on the surface of the sea.
Few minutes later the attacks against the blue dragon died down, charred and sliced bodies of the crew of Funeral Pirates everywhere, between them walked Kaido with disdain and mockery on his face.
"So you choose to run away, you were always a loser Boris…but don't think you'll live long…your death will surely be by my hands!"
Said Kaido with intense hatred on his face, the past humiliation of losing to Boris not allowing his ego to let Boris live.
Soon, a news for the search of Boris was spread among the Grand Beast Pirates Fleet, everywhere a search for Boris starting, no one wanted to anger the strongest creature on land, Kaido.
{A week later}
Whale Island.
Huh…
On the shore of whale Island under the dark sky, lay Boris breathing heavily, the golden axe and the just killed sea monster by his side.
"Hmm…an inhabited Island…guess I still have some luck…" Boris sat on the shore for a long time, taking deep breaths and regaining stamina, but suddenly his Haki that returned picked life aura on the island.
The underlings of Kaido has been chasing him all around the world, even following him to South Blue, the wound on his chest badly needed treatment, he needed a place to rest and get some basic treatment first.
This whole week he has been on the run, on this inhabited Island he might be able to get emergency aid.
Picking the axe by his side, Boris stood up and walked towards the forest ahead that leaded towards the town.
Cough…
On the way was a huge ravine and a wooden bridge was built to lead to the other side, Boris stepping on the bridge with a pale face, but suddenly he halted, coughing out blood.
"Not now…damn!"
The world around boris began to wobble, his consciousness going dark boris cursing holding the wound on his chest, but couldn't do much, the burly boris toppling over the wooden bridge, going down into the deep ravine.
{Next Day}
From the port of the whale Island, a ship departed for the Karate Island, on the ship sailing a kid who looked around ten, brown hair spiked up and two ordinary swords on his waist.
Around 6 hours later, when the sun had set, a ship with a jolly roger flying high on the mast appeared at the port.
"It's an inhabited Island, he must be hiding here don't let a single escape the Island, we must catch Boris and send him to Kaido-Sama"
"But do it quickly, don't let the marines catch a sniff!"
Said the leader on the deck to the pirates gathered around him on the ship, an exciting look on his face, couldn't wait to get the praise and support of Kaido after catching the injured Boris.
"HAAA!!!"
All the pirates on the ship were excited at his orders, jumping out of the ship and rushing towards the Island.
"Pirates attacked the Island!!"
"Pfft!!"
Soon there was a seen of hell on the Island, pirates running around killing everyone and searching every house, blood everyone on the ground.
"It seems he already left the Island, no wonder he escaped from the hands of Lord Kaido, he really has some ability!"
The hell continued for a while under the dark sky before the pirates retreated, the leader on the ship that was about to depart after not finding Boris muttering with an annoyed look on his face.
"Rox!!!!"
The Whale Island burned, flames and smoke everywhere and amid the flames and destroyed terrain with corpses everywhere, a woman with a cut wound on her stomach running around, shouting a name every time, blood rinsing down from her stomach constantly, her steps getting weaker and weaker but the voice calling out the name still strong.
