82. Declaring War On The Four Emperors, Actions Of The Buggy Alliance

Tamago respectfully lowered his head as he faced the formidable pirate standing before him: Straw Hat Luffy, the latest renowned pirate in the world.

Despite being part of the Big Mom Pirates, he couldn't help feeling nervous and fearful in the presence of such a prominent figure. Though his mother might dismiss the Straw Hat Boy, he couldn't bring himself to do so.

"You're from the Big Mom Pirates," Luffy said with a chuckle, finding them amusing.

"Thanks," replied Tamago, feeling relieved that Luffy wasn't mocking him outright.

Normally, Tamago would strike back at any hint of mockery, but against the Straw Hat Crew, he had to suppress his emotions.

"Oh, by the way, I remember you're the guy's Uncle Mermaid and Jinbei mentioned, fellas from Fish-Man Island who have a thing for the Four Emperors, right? What brings you here?" Luffy asked with a grin.

Tamago and Pekoms froze below, their bodies drenched in cold sweat. Yet, as cadres of the Big Mom Pirates, they had to convey their mother's demands.

"We've come to demand answers from King Neptune and Jinbei," Tamago announced.

"Three days ago, my mother gave Fish-Man Island an ultimatum. Now, she expects an answer: surrender or face destruction."

Beside him, Pekoms stood stiffly, trying to maintain his composure despite the fear.

Jinbei, with a grim expression, interjected, "Didn't I promise you an answer?"

This confrontation left Nami, Usopp, and Zoro Sanji astonished, realizing the gravity of the situation.

"Surrender or perish," Tamago reiterated, echoing the brutal code of the Four Emperors.

Luffy, unfazed, leaned against the railing of the Sunny, declaring, "Fish-Man Island belongs to me, and Jinbei is my ally. That's your answer."

Though he appeared relaxed, the Straw Hat Crew emanated an aura of danger that unsettled Tamago and Pekoms.

"This feeling is even scarier than facing my mother," Tamago thought, trying to maintain his resolve.

But driven by the pride of the Big Mom Pirates, he mustered the courage to ask, "Are you prepared to go to war with the Big Mom Pirates?"

Zoro, standing behind Luffy, responded calmly, "Think carefully before you decide to wage war against us."

Tamago and Pekoms were stunned by the deep voice and arrogant words.

For years, they hadn't encountered anyone bold enough to speak to the Big Mom Pirates in such a manner.

"Roronoa Zoro, Vice Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates," Zoro announced, causing Tamago to acknowledge his authority to speak for the Straw Hat Crew. He realized he lacked the same standing to represent the Big Mom Pirates.

Straw Hat Crew, despite being rookies, boasted a record as impressive as the Four Emperors.

Tamago proposed contacting their captain, Big Mom, to discuss the matter further.

Luffy agreed nonchalantly.

Tamago dialled using a phone bug, reporting the situation to Big Mom without embellishment.

Handing the phone bug to Luffy, he relayed, "Mom wants to talk to you."

Big Mom's intimidating voice resonated through the bug, demanding to know if Luffy understood her claim over Fish-Man Island and Jinbei's loyalty.

Luffy, unfazed, affirmed Jinbei's partnership with him and refused to join Big Mom.

Big Mom threatened war, but Luffy remained composed, hanging up the phone without hesitation.

Tamago and Pekoms, realizing the impending war, were nervous.

The rise of the Straw Hat Pirates would inevitably alter the New World's balance and incite clashes among the Emperors.

Turning to Jinbei, Luffy extended an invitation to join their crew, surprising everyone.

Tamago and Pekoms couldn't comprehend Luffy's audacity in declaring war against an Emperor yet seeking alliances with a Shichibukai.

"Brother Luffy," Jinbei addressed him, his expression one of disbelief and uncertainty.

Jinbei was left speechless by Luffy's genuine offer, moved by the friendliness he had experienced in just a few days.

But before he could respond, a strong force lifted him up from behind.

Aladine, a member of the Sun Pirates, encouraged Jinbei to pursue his dreams without hesitation.

With a roar from Aladine, Jinbei was thrown high into the air by a group of fishermen like a cannonball.

Luffy swiftly caught him as he pressed down his straw hat, and they landed firmly on the Sunny.

Jinbei looked back at the Sun Pirates below, who bid him farewell with smiles and waves.

With a final cheer from the crew, Luffy declared their destination: the New World.

As they set sail, leaving their friends behind, Luffy stood at the bow, laughing with excitement.

Meanwhile, on Cake Island, Big Mom reacted angrily to Luffy's defiance, ordering Katakuri to prepare for war against the Straw Hat Pirates.

Despite her underestimation of Luffy, she recognized his strength and the trouble he could cause, especially after defeating a Marine Admiral.

Katakuri, though hesitant, obeyed his mother's command, preparing for the inevitable conflict with the Straw Hat Pirates over Fish-Man Island.

Katakuri couldn't deny his uneasy feeling as he observed the situation. His advanced Observation of Haki warned him of impending danger.

On a peculiar pirate ship sailing the seas of the first half of the Grand Line, Byrnndi World and his crew discussed their plans.

World questioned the decision to head to the New World instead of targeting the Marines. Buggy, ever the opportunist, reasoned that they needed power and territory to challenge the Marines effectively.

Bullet, driven by his desire for strong opponents, suggested targeting the Four Emperors in the New World.

However, Hawkeye objected to attacking Shanks, while Crocodile saw the benefits of expanding their forces.

Gecko Moria, intrigued by the unlikely alliance forming before him, suggested targeting Wano Country, currently under the control of Kaido, one of the Four Emperors.

His proposal piqued the interest of the crew, as Wano boasted skilled swordsmiths, abundant resources, and seastones.

This revelation ignited the ambitions of Hawkeye, Byrnndi World, Buggy, Crocodile, and Bullet.

Moria saw an opportunity for revenge against Kaido, fueled by his newfound alliance with these formidable pirates.

Their target was now set on Wano, and their ambitions for power and conquest burned brighter than ever.
