' So the island of Galzburg is about 10 miles away from my location.' I thought to myself while looking at the map in my hand, checking whether I was going in the right direction. The map in my head isn't exactly the best for navigation right now, as I have yet to fill it out.

The map given to me by ROB is meant to be used when I have already explored an area. The map will help me find secrets that I did not know of, but ultimately I have to fill it out. And since when I first met Bullet he didn't allow me to drop him off right at Galzburg, but the island closest to it. Therefore I followed the map in my head till here, and now I'm going to use a real map.

[A/N: I hope the explanation about the map makes sense. I try to keep it short, and as non-confusing as possible but I realize that it might not always be that way. So if you do find it confusing, join the discord server as there is a channel explaining all of its abilities with a lot more depth.]

' But what should I do when I arrive at the island? From what I understand there are currently two main forces fighting on the island of Galzburg.'

' The Galzburg people have had minor skirmishes with another Kingdom in the North Blue for a while now. Those were pretty basic territorial disputes, something that is pretty common in this world. But all that changed when Galzburg was invaded by the Kingdom due to claiming land close to the other Kingdom. Due to the Galzburg's reputation as a military nation, they wasted no time on declaring war and invading, preferring to be the invaders than the invaded. Though the Galzburg people have managed to hold off their opposition till the outskirts of their land.'

' So the best course of action for me would be to hide on the island and locate Douglas. And wait for the moment when Douglas gets betrayed.'

After I came up with my plan on how to recruit Douglas, I made sure the ship was on the right course - as I'd hate to be lost out at sea - before heading back inside to the kitchen area.

I wasn't worried about getting attacked if I was inside the ship since I would know if anyone was close to it thanks to the map in my head. It was a really neat feature that would show any living thing around me in a 10-meter radius. Though there were a couple of rules to it. That stopped it from being truly OP, like pretty much everything else ROB has given me.

One of the major rules was that my observation haki had to be on a higher level than that of the other persons. If it wasn't they wouldn't appear on my map, if it was they'd be a red dot on my map that would get closer or further from me depending on the direction they were traveling in.

This was the reason that my parents would never appear on the map, but others did. It was especially useful because I was in the North Blue, where the chances of me finding an observation haki user would be smaller than minuscule. But I still kept my guard up because I am not one who tries to tempt Murphy's Law, I know better than that.

I actually found out about this feature of the map when I went out as a bounty hunter for the first time. But that's a story for another time.

Just as I finished my musing I came to a stop at the kitchen. The kitchen was right in the middle of the ship so you really can't miss it.

The kitchen wasn't particularly big nor was it small. Rather it was the perfect size for my crew in the future. The kitchen came equipped with a normal size refrigerator, a table, and a stove along with a kitchen sink.

Might not seem much but it works for a crew of around 10 members. Since I still haven't decided whether I wanted a fleet in the future, I don't really see the point of it for my goal. For now, 10 powerful crew members is what I'm looking for now. The kitchen wasn't missing anything supply courtesy of mom, so I went right to cooking up a meal for myself.

[ About an hour later ]

' So that's Galzburg island.' I was on top of the mast looking at a large island with a telescope.

When I first rescued Douglas, I didn't bring him to the island but rather to the nearest island. I wanted to drop him off at the island, but he didn't want that for some reason.

Well, I can't exactly dock the ship on the ports since there was a war going on, and I didn't want my ship to be destroyed in the chaos.

So I decided to dock the ship to the nearest uninhabited island which didn't take that much time.

I anchored the ship on the small island about 20 minutes away from Galzburg, in a large cave so that ship wouldn't get seen.

Once I was done with that, I moonwalked towards Galzburg. I could hear cannons being fired as I got closer to the island.

Before anyone could see me, I dipped into the sea and stayed underwater for a couple of minutes to survey the situation.

I could see an army of around two thousand soldiers, around the edges of the island trying to move closer to the mainland. But they were being held back by the Galzforce, the military army of Galzburg, not really creative, are they.

I started swimming closer to the island as my ears were filled with the sounds of constant gunshots and swords clashing against each other.

I specifically swam towards a location that barely had any fighting. I tried to sneak past the fighting in the other area but sadly I was noticed by both forces on this part of the island. They were about 12 people fighting where I swam to.

" You? Who are you?" A soldier wearing the military uniform of Galzburg shouted at me stopping the fight around me. The two opposing armies looked around in confusion before pointing their gun towards me.

" Identify yourself now!" The same soldier said with his hand now resting on the trigger of the gun he was holding.

" Sorry, I didn't want to do this," I said in a low voice moments before I appeared behind the soldier and snapped his neck. The remaining 11 opened fire at me. But sadly they were all destined to die today.

" May you rest in peace," I spoke remorsefully to the last soldier who I stabbed in the heart using Finger gun. I quickly left the area with a Galzburg military uniform before anyone else could notice me, and force me to kill any more than I have to.

' Now where would Douglas be in a massive fight with thousands of soldiers?' I asked myself as I put on the uniform so I could blend in with the war going on. I kept using shave to stay out of people's sight.

" Someone save me!" I heard someone scream out but I didn't interfere and watched him die out due to gun wounds.

' So this is war. Worse than I could ever imagine. People around me keep dying for what?' I asked myself for a second before noticing they were distracting me.

About a couple of minutes later, I finally reached the main battlefield where hundreds of dead bodies were lying around. You could smell the bodies from miles away. The land was destroyed as everything kept getting hit with cannons.

In the middle of this was Douglas Bullet who was surrounded by at least 200 enemies. Behind him were around 60 of his soldiers from what I can assume. Next to him was a rather odd middle-aged man with a scar over his right eye. It wasn't that hard to figure out who he was thanks to Douglas's description of him.

' So that's Douglas father-figure, Douglas Gray.' I moonwalked towards the top of a tree waiting for the show to being. And for the right moment for me to save my first mate.

Before we leave I've just realized that these last few chapters have been longer than before lol. Heck, this is the new longest chapter I have released, and I believe the previous chapter was the former longest. Though I might be wrong lol.
