( 3rd Person Pov )

A tall 5'9 kid with greenish blonde hair could be seen fighting against a beautiful 6'3 woman with bright blonde hair and green eyes as well. These two people were none other than Achilles and his mom Moro. Both figures kept exchanging attacks at a fast speed, so fast it would be invisible to the average person.

' Oh fuck, this is too much' Achilles thought to himself as he made an x with the back of his hands to block his mom's punch. Achilles has been using a new style created from the combination of his mom's brutal way of fighting, with his dad's elegant yet deadly style.

" I have to say so far, I'm not impressed," Moro said to Achilles, knocking him back.

" Yeah, well you're about to be." Achilles back before disappearing and appearing in front of her launching a barrage of punches and kicks towards her joints which he learned from his dad.

Before Achilles once again used shave to move away from his mom and appeared behind her attempting to kick her neck. But unfortunately for him, his mom ducked his kick and grabbed his leg as she threw him into a tree that break in half from the impact.

" Hey mom, shouldn't you go easy on your son?" Achilles said spitting some blood as he was getting back up from the ground. He stood up with some difficulty as he was already quite injured and they had already been fighting for a while.

" If this is the best then don't even think about going to the sea when you are 15. The training I received from your great-great-grandpa was even worse. Also, your father nearly died whenever he would train with his best friend."

" So you have no excuse for complacency," Moro said to her in a stern voice.

" Yeah, understood." Achilles before barraging his mom with blasts of air punches similar to how a boxer would do a jab. The punch would send a blunt wave of wind, kinda like tempest kick but is blunt and with his hands. The air blasts aren't as deadly as the compressed blades of air along with being smaller but the attack charge up is shorter compared to a tempest kick.

" Oh, that's pretty good," Moro said to her as she could feel the blast of air coming towards but she didn't do anything since she decided to test how powerful the attack was. Turns out it was quite powerful since she was pushed and had some bruises from the attack.

( Chiron's Pov )

As the mom and son continued their spar, Chiron was observing the fight. Well, rather he's observing Achilles and his new fighting style which he decided to call Soryu Style.

' Huh, so the style is mostly based on speed but the attacks all aim for the joints or the weak parts of the body. When he attacks, it's with all his strength so he could fight quicker.

' And he managed to combine some of the six powers into his style as well. But it seems like he didn't fully incorporate all of them into Soryu. But rather what he deems the most useful out of the six powers like shave, moon-walk, and tempest kick.

' Although this style seems quite powerful but when Achilles fights against those monsters in the new world, it wouldn't work. He has to increase his pure brute strength before this style of fighting becomes a problem. Although with haki that won't be a problem.'

' But should I teach him haki now? If I teach him armament haki, his body won't be strong enough, he didn't awaken his conqueror's haki yet but chances are he will awaken it considering Moro has it and I had it at one time as well. And his personality as well. Like they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. So that only leaves observation haki for Achilles to learn now.'

As I was thinking about what to do, that fight no rather the ass-kicking that Achilles was getting ended, even with one-arm Moro was still able to put Achilles down. Thankfully that ass-kicking ended otherwise I doubted Achilles was going to live to the next day.

[A/N: Sorry if I haven't mentioned this earlier but Moro is indeed missing an arm. She is missing her left arm, and Chiron is missing his right arm. In a way, they are matching lmao]

( Achilles Pov )

*Huff, Huff, Huff*

I was huffing and puffing as I lay there on the ground from the beating I received from my mom. In the fight, I couldn't do anything to her no matter what I did. Whether that was speed, brute force, or underhanded tactics I was unable to do deal with any form of substantial damage. It really makes me wonder just how strong my parents are. Especially when you account for the fact that mom said that my father was still stronger than her.

" What's with the annoyed look on your face?" Mom said while hovering over me.

" Nothing, just thinking on how you were still able to dictate the pace of the entire fight even after all my training. Makes me wonder if it was even worth it." And I really was starting to doubt myself and my efforts.

Even after everything, I did it just wasn't enough. How am I ever supposed to go up against monsters like the Admirals, and the Yonko if I'm unable to even lay a finger on my own mom? Was my dream even attainable?

" We cut you down like this so you'll spring back up. You really are enormously talented but you're a novice. You have not yet learned how to be worthy of that talent. To a young person for whom everything comes easily, the pain of defeat can be a much-needed wake-up call.

On the surface, the concept of these fights may seem to be to put you down, but deep down it's not about winning or losing, it's about rising to the occasion. It's about tasting the rapture an triumph and the disgrace of failure. They go hand in hand you see. One is meaningless without the other. To win one has to lose!" My father ended up shouting at the end of his speech. And I wasn't going to lie, but that speech had me hyped up. It had me ready to fight a whole battalion of Marines.

" Also don't fault yourself if your conviction starts to waver, it's human nature. When one is unable to find any progress in something they have begun doing, they tend to revert back to their old ways. The key in this is being consistent, and staying motivated and dedicated. Do this and I guarantee that you will see all of your dreams and ambitions become reality."

" I- I don't know what to say. Thanks for your belief, and support." I told both of my parents as I was unsuccessfully trying to stop my own tears. I felt touched, new emotions were bursting inside my heart, for someone who had no parents in their past life what my dad said meant the world to me. It showed their unconditional support and belief something I lacked previously.

[A/N: The MC has been acting mature in the previous chapters so it may come as a surprise that he is acting somewhat childish in the paragraph above. But you have to remember that he died when he was 15 in his previous life, and he also lacked parents in that life. So everything he is experiencing is new and foreign this is just the first time I've decided to write it instead of having it happen of-screen lol. But ya so hopefully I don't get any comments about the MC being an emotional Beta-Male that are so common on this website. Anyways cya.]

Hopefully, you all enjoyed reading this, as much as I've enjoyed writing these. I've really enjoyed writing this story so far. And honestly, I kinda regret what I've done with Annihilation King lol. Chances are after I'm done this I'll rewrite it but don't quote me on it.
