253 252 Re-arrangement

"Hey Marco, don't worry about it. When we arrive at the Marine branch, you just need to try make a deal with them."

Whitebeard told Marco this, and once Marco nodded in agreement, he went right back to enjoying the party.

Whitebeard sat alone with his drink. Despite others raising toasts to him, he preferred some quiet time for himself.

Currently, Whitebeard was thinking about a few matters—specifically, how to approach the Marines Branch with his request.

Being too arrogant might make the Marines Branch uneasy and less likely to agree to his terms.

Another matter is dealing with the Dark Fruit. When Blackbeard died, he acquired the Dark-Dark Fruit. But Whitebeard can't use it for himself.

Currently, Whitebeard is so powerful that he fears no opponent in the world, let alone marines headquarter or four emperors. What makes him worried about is the safety of his territory

As Whitebeard was thinking, a luxurious card materialized in his hand.

[Self-Transformation: The Tremor-Tremor Fruit can mimic the effects of other fruit abilities, and it also possesses the power of vibration.]

Whitebeard got this card after defeating Blackbeard, so he wasn't interested in acquiring other fruit abilities at the moment, which was meaningless for him.

Whitebeard's plan was to either give this fruit to his commander or keep it for now, passing it on when a more suitable candidate emerges in the future.

Among Whitebeard's four main commanders, Marco, Jozu, and Charles Vane already possess fruits and cannot eat more devil fruit.

Even though Vista doesn't have a fruit, his swordsmanship skills are already exceptional. Giving him the Dark Fruit might actually limit his swordsmanship abilities.

Also, considering Vista's age, which is relatively old, Whitebeard prefers to give the fruit to a younger person.

Certainly, developing the fruit's power is easier at a younger age, and the awakening of the fruit is also more easier.

Currently, there isn't anyone on their ship who fits Whitebeard's criteria better, so it's best for Whitebeard to hold onto it for now.

Meanwhile, Whitebeard plans to make adjustments to his division commanders, and Tesla will be joining his pirate group soon.

Whitebeard plans to form a core team with these five individuals, essentially making them the five generals of the Whitebeard Pirates.

So, Whitebeard reorganized the division commanders for a simpler and clearer structure in the future.

To start with, Marco remains the first division commander, Jozu is the second, Vista holds the third position, Charles Vane is the fourth, and Tesla will become the fifth commander in the future.

Certainly, these commanders switched with their respective divisions. After all, each commander is well-acquainted with their own division.

The recently added 17th and 18th divisions will be disbanded, as Charles Vane is now the fourth division commander and Edward Weevil will serve as his personal guard.

Moving forward, these five individuals will be Whitebeard's main force. Additionally, Sanjuan Wolf will serve as his personal guard alongside Edward Weevil.

Both of them are loyal and simple minded individuals, and they are highly obedient to his orders.

Simultaneously, they aren't suitable for leading divisions, making them perfect fits as personal guard for Whitebeard.

However, when it comes down to it, Whitebeard is more concerned about someone else.

That's why he instructed Jozu to get in touch with Enel from Sky Island.

Even though Whitebeard was aware that Enel was no longer in Sky Island, he had traveled to the moon.

Yet, in Sky Island, there's still a way to reach Enel. After all, this was once the place where Enel ruled for some time.

In Sky Island, a remnant of Enel's thunder power remains in the cloud, but the present Enel might not be well-informed about Whitebeard.

However, Whitebeard is aware that Enel possesses a formidable Logia: Thunder Fruit. Having this as a crew member could significantly boost the strength of the Whitebeard Pirate.

Therefore, when Whitebeard had Jozu reach out to Enel, he employed a clever trick to deceive him.

That place is the endless ocean. Enel dreams of reaching the infinite land. So, Whitebeard will inform him that the world holds an even more expansive and boundless space than the infinite land (Fairy Vearth)

It's the infinite ocean, the largest expanse in the world. Whitebeard envisions becoming the freest person in the ocean!

This reason might appeal to Enel, but Whitebeard is uncertain about when Enel will return from the moon

Regardless, Whitebeard is confident that Enel will come, and no matter how rebellious he may be, Whitebeard has a method to successfully subdue and control him.

Unknowingly, the Whitebeard Pirates have already approached a branch of Marine.

Certainly, this is the route Whitebeard has long established, and during the return journey, a deal with the Marines Branch has to be negotiated.

Being the Marine branch in the New World, this place is naturally highly vigilant.

Even while the Whitebeard Pirates were still so far away, the Marines spotted them immediately.

"Vice Admiral Dirk, we've got pirate groups in our waters, and there are quite a few of them."

Once the Marine sentry spotted Whitebeard and his crew, they quickly reported it to the highest commander in the area.

Vice Admiral Dirk leads this Marine branch, with other Marine officials serving under him.

A Vice Admiral tasked with responsibilities in the New World must have sharp mind

"What!?"

Dirk Vice Admiral exclaimed. Upon receiving the report, with his sharp instincts, he immediately suspected it could be some big pirates.

So Vice Admiral Dirk immediately went to investigate in person. As he raised the telescope, five huge pirate ships came into view, and trailing behind them in the sea was a massive monster.

"That's the Whitebeard Pirates!"

Vice Admiral Dirk swiftly identified the banner above the ships

This confirmed Vice Admiral Dirk's suspicions. He had heard about the Whitebeard Pirates in pursuit of Blackbeard pirates earlier, but he didn't anticipate Whitebeard himself showing up here so quickly.

Could it be that the battle is finished? Have the Blackbeard Pirates been completely defeated?

Vice Admiral Dirk was somewhat surprised; the clash between the Four Emperors shouldn't be just a mere commotion!

However, Vice Admiral Dirk is only speculating, and currently, the Whitebeard Pirate appears to be heading in the direction of their Marine outpost.

"All units immediately entered the first level combat alert state, but without my order, no one was allowed to attack rashly."

Vice Admiral Dirk swiftly organized a series of battle preparations in anticipation of a confrontation with a Four Emperors, the true sea emperor, Whitebeard.

This Marine branch, which could have been regarded as solid, doesn't seem to be so reliable at this moment.

Vice Admiral Dirk still doesn't understand the purpose of the Whitebeard pirates approaching, but if Whitebeard is truly hostile, he just hopes to do his best in the fight.

As a member of the Marine, he can't allow any disgrace to the organization. Even if they lose the battle, he intends to make the opponent pay some price.

Soon, the Whitebeard Pirates approached a certain distance, and the Marine began issuing warnings.

A booming broadcast voice echoed, "The pirate group ahead, stop your advance. Please communicate with us; otherwise, we will open fire immediately!"
