Ch. 1

Crash.. Thud..

"President Lucas!". I heard Lewis voice as soon as i opened my eyes.

"Why are you looking at me like that.. Lewis.. I.. I'm okay". I lift my hand to wipe his tears.

My vision gets blurred once again, and everything Turn out black.

"Lewis, calm down. The doctor said he will be fine. It just.. he lack of nutrient and consumed too much alcohol".

"How.. How can i keep my calm! Did you know he was laying there on his chair inside of his room, with countless bottles of booze and messy table full of cigarette butts!? How can you told me to calm down, Sebas!".

"Sshh! You two! Keep quiet! This is a hospital. We don't want to woke up President Lucas, aren't we!?".

Sebas and Lewis looking at President Lucas through the small window at the door.

"Sigh! For god sake, it's our fault that he became like that! From now on, I'm going to keep an eyes on him and stop him no matter what he says in the future!".

"Sigh.. Zoey.. As if we could do that". Lewis let out a long sigh.

Beep.. Beep.. Beep..

Tick.. Tock.. Tick.. Tock..

"Nggh..".

As i opened my eyes, i see an unfamiliar ceiling with irritating smell of medicines linger around the room.

"Where..".

"Are you awake!? This is the Hospital room".

I shifted my head to my right.

"Ah.. Lewis.. And Zoey".

Both of them looking at me with a sad and angry face.

"Ahaha.. Seems like.. I'm reaching my limit. Thank you for.. Staying with me".

My body feels heavy. I saw many injection wound on my wrist. My stomach feels empty and hunger.

"Thank you". Lewis helping me to get up as i rest my back to the bed.

"How many days.. I was black out here?".

"its the tenths day. You were waking up four days ago.. But.. You blacked out again". Says Zoey.

"When will i.. Be able to.. Discharged? What about.. The company? Sshh!". I let out a hiss when I'm moved my hand.

"You will be able to be Discharged in a week. If you able to to eat something, i will ask the nurse to bring something for you to eat". Says Zoey.

"You are unconscious because you are lack a nutrient in your system. And you keep drinking and smoking, making your body can't hold on. The doctor said the longest is in a week, but if you are able to eat well, it might be need around four or five days". Lewis says.

"Alright. For now, can you please.. Bring me a water? My throat feels dry".

Lewis bring me a cup of water with a straw, since i still couldn't hold the glass by my self.

"Thanks.". I look around after i stop drinking. "Where is Sebas?".

"Ah. Sebas is at the company. He will be arriving here later at night". Lewis says.

"Alright. I'm going back to sleep. My body still feels sluggish and my vision is still not getting better. We will talk again after I've got Discharged".

Lewis helping me laying down on the bed carefully. As i close my eyes, i fall asleep quickly.

Five days passed in a blink of an eye. I've got Discharged from the hospitals and sitting at the couch on the living room.

"Alright. Since we are all here, let me apologise for making you three worried about me".

"Ah! No, President!". Lewis says.

"What with the apology, President Lucas?". Zoey laughing.

"You don't need to apologise, President Lucas. It's our fault that we are failed to be your hand, feet, and ear". Sebas bowing down in front of me.

"Ah.. Please, let me continue. First, i want to say sorry for the trouble, and thank you for staying by my side". I throw a smile at them.

"Secondly, i decided to get back to my feet. I will continue the company that left behind by my parents. But-". I took a deep breath before continuing.

"I will not showing my face to anybody else in the business world. Not until i found what I'm looking for. I hope you three will listen to my wish and my idea untill I'm ready to get back and do it myself".

Lewis, Zoey, and Sebas, looking at each others before giving me a silent agreement, letting me to continue with my words.

"Lewis, I leave everything to you, to act as my proxy as i wont show my face at our office".

"Yes, President Lucas". Lewis nod his head.

"You just need to show up as my Proxy to every meeting and event. I will stay at the private room office while you're at the president room, but i will act like your assistant. Don't ever let anyone know who am i".

"Zoey, you stay with Lewis when you are at office, and Sebas will stay with me at the office. When working time is over, Lewis will go with whenever i go, Zoey and Sebas just stay around unnoticed".

"Yes, President Lewis". They are answering together.

"I already told you guys to stop calling me President. I think of you three as my family. Just call me Lucas, will ya?".

"Alright, Lucas". Says Lewis.

"Mkaay, Lucas". Said Zoey.

"Sigh.. Okay, Lucas". Said Sebas.

"Now.. What will you do, Lucas? I mean, do you still.. Need time to gather your thoughts?". Lewis asking me while handing me a cup of warm honey tea.

"Hmm.. For now, i didn't plan to stay here". I took a sip at the tea.

"What do you mean by that!?". Lewis looks shocked.

"Calm down. I need time around a year at most to be alone". I raised my hand as a signal to stop Lewis to talk.

"I beg you three. I need to stay alone for a while. I will show up at the office. But outside of the office, i just want Sebas to be with me. Not all the time, but just when i need something to be done". I put the cup on top of the table.

"Of course, it's not just Sebas. I will need Zoey and Lewis as well. But for now, i need Sebas to prepare me my daily necessity. Put a few set of daily clothes, shoes, and other stuff at my suitcase".

"and for you, Lewis. I need you to make me a new bank account, and a fake identity, to work at the company. Prepare everything for me. Make it that my position won't bring a trouble at the office".

"And i need you, Zoey. To prepare me a common car for me and put my suitcase, laptop, and tablet at the car. I will move out by tomorrow".

"And Lewis, i will need you to hand me the Office ID and my fake identity tomorrow. And don't forget to erase every news or article which has my face on it. And i need you to do Everything done by sunday".

The three of them nod their head and left to do the task i gave them.
