　　The next morning, as soon as Lucie got up, she realized that she had overslept.

　　She quickly got up and rushed downstairs after washing up. The servant downstairs saw her and said, "Miss Wayne, you haven't had breakfast yet!" Lucie was already running late and didn't have time for breakfast. She waved her hand to the servant, "No need, I'll leave now."

　　Watching Lucie's hurried departure, the servant shook his head helplessly and turned around only to see Ruslan coming down the stairs.

　　Ruslan responded lightly and asked, "What happened just now?"

　　"Just now, Miss Wayne seemed to be late for work, so she left without having breakfast." The servant replied.

　　Ruslan looked outside with a deep and troubled gaze.

　　Finally, just a second before being late, Lucie successfully clocked in. After she breathed a sigh of relief, she returned to her seat.

　　About an hour later, Jorah's secretary came over and said, "Miss Wayne, Mr. Bannister would like to see you."
